A pleasant surprise after the long climb from Combarro. super value in September. One of the nicest accommodations that we stayed at on our camino. Santiago was helpful and made our one night memorable.

Not much choice in this town on Camino Spiritual Variante. This was a very expensive camino stopover with the worst pillows ever! WiFi was hopeless. The rooms are comfortable and breakfast was excellent.

Very pleasant staff . Good breakfast . Great views.Disappointed no dining option in evening . Posada has seen better days . Needs a lot of ****ing around the building . Really disliked the rough concrete floor in bathroom .

This is a bare bones hotel that is probably ok for one night if you are on the camino and need a clean place to stay. Otherwise here are the issues we encountered during our stay: - Very noisy! Due to the concrete design, there are no sound buffers and you can hear everything on top of which the noise is amplified making it louder. You are in a quiet remote area but the hotel itself is very loud. - Handicap bathrooms are a bit awkward especially the shower. - Poor wifi. Had to go either to lobby or finally the reception gave the password for the staff wifi, only a little bit better but guest wifi not working. - Pool was COLD and no amenities. They could have tables and given you are in wine region, wine buckets to have wine and cheese. - NO food options outside of breakfast so plan ahead and bring snacks. There is a small fridge in the room but no minibar. Hotel had potential to be much more. For pilgrims, could offer laundry service. For being so close to many wineries, could offer ice buckets to keep wine in room. Could offer some basic snacks, especially by pool. No bar service at all. Pool should be heated and have tables and amenities.

Contemporary high-end hotel near Monastery. Lovely breakfast. Large private room with first-rate bathroom. No meals aside from breakfast buffet.

This hotel has a dream team of guys who interact with the customers and whoever has trained them needs to be commended! Victor, Alex, and Santiago all went out of their way to help us even before we arrived. I needed to arrange a taxi from the hotel after dropping off my backpack (I was walking the Camino) and Victor arranged a competent and reasonably priced taxi (Francisco Javier) who not only drove me to the airport in Santiago de Compostela, but also picked me up from there again in three days. On the morning of my pick-up, Victor and Santiago ensured that my wait for the taxi was comfortable and Alex was waiting for me three days later when I returned. Alex helped us with booking a boat in another city and arranged for our clothes to get cleaned there at the hotel. I had not expected to swim on my trip, but this was no problem for Santiago, he disappeared a few minutes and came back with a pair of swimming trunks that were just my size. I've never had that happen in even the most fancy hotels I've stayed in. All the other's comments about architecture, breakfast, cleanliness, and so on is something that one might expect from a four star hotel, but to get three superstar employees in one visit is extraordinary. Thank you gentlemen, and I hope to see you on my next stay as this place is certainly one to return to.

Precioso hotel, maravillosa arquitectura,se funde con el paisaje,bien situado para conocer la provincia, desayuno delicioso,personal encantador,no olviden probar la tortilla de patata...el recepcionista te ayudará a conocer lo mejor de la zona

Estuvimos de paso haciendo el Camino de Santiago (La variante espiritual) y el sitio es ideal para descansar. Un hotel integrado en entorno. Limpio, cómodo, silencioso, moderno y totalmente accesible. La terraza es ideal para relaj****. Con vistas espectaculares. El desayuno correcto, con cantidades abundantes. La pena es que no tengan algún servicio de cafetería para poder tomar algo (especialmente en la terraza). Aunque en el pueblo hay varios sitios muy cercanos para tomar algo o cenar. El personal encantador, atento y correcto. Está al comienzo de la Ruta da Pedra e da Auga. Altamente recomendable.
