Beachliner Hotel

Upon arrival there is no front desk and no one to assist with issues. The bathroom had mold in the shower, the carpet was rolled up at the entrance to the room (which we tripped over), the ceiling fan was filthy, and the tv could not be seen from the bed. On our second night an alarm went off in a neighboring room at 1am and blared for an hour and 15 minutes. People were banging on their door (of an empty room) and eventually I called the reservation number. They answered after countless rings. No one came to shut the alarm and it continued from the time I called till 2:15am. Absurd.

The new owners did a great job of renovating. Nice breakfast buffet. Not much hot water for showering in our top floor room.

Other than the hike up to the fourth floor, the room and bathroom were perfect. Breakfast was great.

Room was nice and clean. Bed was super comfortable. Area is nice. Beach and boardwalk were gorgeous. Continental breakfast was great! Lots of options. Stairs to get to your room are very steep and narrow so if you have difficulty with stairs or accessibility issues, I would refrain from selecting this hotel. Also there’s no signage on the hotel, except for a piece of paper taped to the front door that has the name of another hotel on it - this was very confusing when I arrived and had to call a phone number to check in. Overall my stay was good. I work in customer service and this place could use a little more personal connection or customer service.

What a gem of a place to stay. With its unique decor and a**osphere, it is very enchanting. I booked this stay for a business trip and was happy with the stay. The only negative was the double room booked with the ocean view was on the top floor with a very narrow and steep staircase. Not at all suitable for anyone with physical challenges or uncomfortable with stairs.

There are several issues with this hotel: 1) I called ahead to let them know we'd be getting there late and they checked me in over the phone. That's great, but it seems that they check in using first name, not last so they gave my room to someone else. We were given a different room, but it's definitely not what we wanted. 2) The hotel was too hot - we were not the only ones to complain about this. They need better ventilation and why have the gas stove running in the lobby ALL THE TIME (not eco-friendly) during a hot weekend while the air conditioner ran right next to it? 3) The breakfast was micro-waved eggs and potatoes all of which was cold. The other food is okay, but really no different than a generic hotel stay. It was right near the boardwalk, which is very nice. The place needs a representative on site, at least during daytime hours. To always have to call some mystery person for questions is inconvenient and weird.

Nice place, easy checkin by phone. Room #15 has a private bathroom but it’s across the hallway and water in the shower took close to 20 minutes to get warm enough to get into. Could also hear everything going on in the room next door, but I guess that’s to be expected in a house.

Just Beautiful!!! We will definitely be back again from the cute beach decor comfy clean and cozy from the amazing cookies to the orange infused water even the beach cruisers so u can take a ride so close to the beautiful boardwalk and pier and very nice Host Thank you for the lovely stay

We left after one night !!! …. It’s disgusting and the service is horrible….. nothing like what is marketed ! The rooms are disgusting with mould on the showers and no heating in the rooms
