Sea Shell Neil

Small but beautiful property in midst of serene aqua blue green sea, creates its own world. Approach to watching sea takes one in the complete company of nature where cafe restaurant has its own vibes. Thanks to Urmila, Ali, Asif, Mr. Ramprasad, Chef Rajesh Raju and someone who made the entire dinner lovely and lively with live music Mr. Ronald. Special thanks to reception team as I forgot my book in Seashell havelock between the reception in Neil and Havelock they made it sure I receive the book within 24 hours in good condition. The entire experience with staff of both the Seashell properties will stay with us as good memory. Big thanks.

THIS IS ALSO A LUXURY RESORT HOTEL WITH A PRIVATE BEACH.VERY NICE FOOD. VERY GOOD AMBIENCE. QUIET PLACE TO RELAX FAR FROM THE CITY HUSTLE. BEING A REMOTE ISLAND THERE IS SHORTAGE OF ELECTRICITY AND WATER.IT IS VERY GOOD FOR LOVERS OF SCUBA DIVING

Property is very good at its ambience, cleanliness and restaurant. Restaurant is having very delicious food. We were disappointed by knowing that property doesn’t have swimming pool. Also too much disappointment by the view it’s having. If you are thinking it’s a beach side property then don’t choose it. The beach at property is rocky and u can’t go inside also u can’t enjoy the view as ***y tress in water of beach. I really don’t like the view. I booked it because it is on beach but there is no advantage of it. Otherwise the property is decent and recommended if you are ready to accept the things I mentioned.

Hotel is very beautiful, very close to the jetty and main island attractions. Room was big as well as the bathroom. I was on half-board plan and the dinner was served à la carte at the restaurant. Food quality was good but staff should be more flexible since in the menu there was only sweets as dessert, so I asked if I could have a banana or any fruit instead of sweets. The first answer was that this was not possible for dinner (?!), since I insisted because in the same hotel in Havelock I was given watermelon instead of sweet, after a long consultation with the ***ager at the end I was authorized to get a banana. This is how a great experience can be ruined due to lack of flexibility on a reasonable request.

Located by the beach, Seashell Neil is a quaint idyllic set-up. The rooms are very comfortable and well done. Cleanliness has been maintained very well all around the hotel and a special mention of all the fruit trees planted on the property right from Betel nut to Papaya to Jackfruit to Bananas. The restaurant is very tastefully done and serves food and alcohol. My breakfast experience here was a very happy one. A shout out to the hotel reception staff who assisted with all minor details around. The space also hosts a space for Scuvalov, a diving company that help you go underwater and snorkel. Phone network in all of Neil Island is very dicey. Depend mostly on the wifi the hotel offers and that too becomes a bit sketchy in rooms. The beach here isn't vast. There are a few benches you can sit on under the trees but not on the beach. But on that note, I spent about 2-3 hours quietly in that space happy as ever. Peace is something you'll get a lot here.

We stayed at , rather currently staying at sea shell at Neil island from 20-22nd March. We before checking in here, were at Barefoot at havelock which was a heaven. That really set our expectations high. Sea shell - looks nice only on exteriors. But the worst part of resort is service. They are pathetic in terms of service. We had done our booking online where all details were specified and we paid in full. At time of check-in we were charged extra 2500 per day for our daughter. Not sure why this didn’t happen at time of booking. Their ***ager on duty and GM- Gaurav who is based out of havelock island both were of no help and quite snobbish. We felt duped in this process. Coming to food- we had lunch ala-carte which was nice. The next day Breakfast was horrible. Idlis were hard as rock, sausages looked and tasted stale, they had previous night left over noodles, as Bf. Coffee was chargeable at BF. Who does that??? Coming to room and washrooms. Rooms were neat and clean. Bathrooms not well maintained. Leaky jet at WC. Shower had blockage too - leading to a spiky bath experience. This property claims its a 4 star. I won’t agree. At best 2-3 star. Not worth paying 15 k per night. Overall would rate whole experience at 2/5.

Exceptional hospitality by staff..amazing food....and ambience...especially Rony is brilliant in helping always in need...recommend everyone to stay once in sea shell neil...to have this experience....will try to come again with family...soon

Best place in neil for stay. Beach is very connected to the resort. Rony is very nice host . He is very helpful person. We will like to come again. Food and drinks are also very nice. Night music is also very peaceful..........................

The SeaShell, Neil hotel is lauded for its excellent service, with staff members frequently noted for their politeness and helpfulness. The, location is a stone's throw from beaches and local attractions, making it a hit among visitors. The atmosphere is excellent in general. While opinions on the rooms are mixed, slightly compact but well maintained. There is a private beach, which you can enjoy as much as any of the foreign cities. Cleanliness is consistently applauded across the hotel, I have mixed view on the value proposition overall. Food : Exceptionally Great! Pool : Super clean and beautiful! Phone & wi fi : is a little bit of issue, you may need BSNL / Airtel (but can't blame the hotel for that :)) They have run out of shampoo and shower gel, in case you are around - do carry your own!
