Beautiful property on an amazing beach. Lots to do and see. Apart from the high cost of meals, the quality is supremely mediocre. Maybe one step up frim Aramark. Staff was not overly helpful or friendly, not what i would expect of a 4 or 5 star resort. Felt like we were nickel and dimed at every turn, kind of scammy. Taxi was $35 for 8 mile trip and only $25 to return?? Still had a nice time but lots of room for imprivement.

The location is beautiful, but at night it can be very loud and the customer service is a bit less than average. We asked for some stuff from the front desk and it never arrived. Everything is super expensive so be prepared to pay a bunch for food. Good thing is the rooms are great and clean.

People could be friendlier/helpful

My birthday stay at Grand Hyatt Baha Mar was nothing short of amazing! I had a great experience from the start at check in where Alia greeted me and wished me a happy birthday. She sent a surprise fruit platter to my room and gave me drink vouchers! Roy at the Pizza Lab was an amazing bartender and also provided me with a memorable experience. Baha Mar can be on the pricey side, but it is worth it and I will definitely be back!

This was our second time to staying at Baha mar and not happy at all. We asked to leave a crib before our arrival, also when we checked in remind them to bring a crib. At 6:30 pm I had to call the room service to tell them again to bring a crib as my son had to sleep. I got it at 7:30pm and surprisingly I got charged for 2 times service fee $21.78 And mini bar which we never used it Basically $55 for nothing and don’t appreciate it. Please check the invoice before leaving the hotel

It was a beautiful hotel, the staff was great. My only complaint was that there wasn’t enough hot tubs, and the hot tubs they had were all crowded with children.

Restaurants are extremely expensive. Portions are small. Drinks are expensive also. Make sure you research restaurants outside resort
