Hôtel de France et de Russie

We usually stay there when we travel to Dordogne Everything is perfect. Welcome by the owners. Beauty of the building and decoration. The restaurant is of a high level!!I do recommend this hotel.

We were made to feel welcomed and valued as a customer from the point of arrival. The hotel has been brought upto a high standard whilst maintaining its traditional feel. Very comfortable and a great nights sleep. Breakfast was traditional French style and delivered efficiently.

Beautiful property. Very nicely furnished. Excellent beds. Very quiet but two blocks away from the main square. Easy parking. Friendly owners. We hope to come back.

I appreciated attention to details, water in the kettle, the small indication next to the bubble bath, the touch of originality with old pitchers, the bathroom dressing table, all the old furniture and especially the quality of the pillows, after a long and tiring trip my night at the hotel was just perfect. thank you for your warm welcome Thank you for unlocking my suitcase Mr.Finch :) Best regards, Lamia

I have stayed at this hotel a few times now, and will always choose to stay here when I am in the area. This is a lovely old building, with a range of rooms, each with its own special character. There is off-street parking included or, if you are car-free, it is easy walking distance from the railway station. WiFi works very well. The rooms are very quiet at night - this is a great place for a peaceful sleep. The onsite restaurant is available with a little pre-planning (they are popular, and reservations are essential). There are other dining options available within walking distance. Most importantly, you feel a real sense of a warm welcome from hosts Adrian and Sharon.

Un hôtel de charme à Thiviers, qui propose des chambres confortables, dans une ambiance un peu d'une autre époque, et qui donne l'impression de basculer dans une autre époque ! Une très belle découverte.

Hôtel au charme de l'ancien, idéalement placé dans le centre de Thiviers, qui propose de vastes chambres au mobilier ancien, un peu dépassé mais qui créé une atmosphère plaisante. Très bon petit déjeuner et personnel très sympathique. Facilité de parking à l'arrière de l'hôtel. En ce mois de juillet il faisait très chaud dans la chambre et le petit ventilateur n'est pas suffisant pour rafraîchir l'ambiance.
