Booked 3 club rooms for 3 separate nights during a multi-stop tour through Kenya. The Stanley and the 1902 lounge were one of the highlights of our trip and we would definitely stay here again and specifically book the club rooms. First of all, the staff were incredible - Emilie, Collins, Benson (1902 lounge butlers), Steve (concierge) and Susan (management) deserve special recognition. They all went above and beyond to ensure our stay was amazing. The 1902 lounge is well worth the upgrade. Soft drinks and snacks during the day, and an incredible happy hour daily from 6-8 with hard drinks and hors d'oeuvres. And if your flight is later the day of checkout, you can use the lounge throughout the day. The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful and attentive. We tried all 3 restaurants during our stay - The Thorn Tree cafe provides an excellent breakfast and is good for lunch. Both the Thai Chi and Pool Deck restaurants were excellent dinner choices. If you are heading on Safari or to Mombasa you can leave the luggage you don't need with the concierge, taking only the things you need for that part of the trip. This makes traveling so much easier. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were spacious and well-appointed. As we returned to the Stanley from one of the legs of our trip, we all remarked that it felt like we were ”coming home”. Would highly recommend.

Great service from front desk. They were accommodating to early check-in and slightly late check-out depending on vacancies. Didn't check out the facilities. Breakfast wise was alright. not much varieties though. Anyway we are there to stay in the room. Room is perfectly sized and cozy for us to rest in. Highly recommend to all if you are looking for a hotel in CBD area.

Das Hotel befindet sich in Westlands - der besten Lage für Nairobi. Die Sicherheit ist sehr hoch. Das Zimmer war super schön eingerichtet. Sehr modern und die Dusche (Regendusche) war toll. Das Wasser wird gefiltert. Der einzige Kritikpunkt ist die Sauberkeit, diese könnte besser sein. So haben wir im Schrank noch Wasserflaschen vom Vorgänger gefunden und der Teppich hatte Brandlöcher. Die Türklinken an der Badezimmertür waren locker. Leider wird auch die Covid-19 Regel nicht so durchgezogen. Es steht zwar überall Desinfektionsmittel zur Verfügung aber beim Frühstück achten die Mitarbeiter nicht darauf ob jemand eine Maske trägt oder nicht - es ist ihnen egal, was ich schade finde. Manche Gäste haben das Brot einfach mit den Händen genommen. Das Frühstück an sich war sehr gut. Grosse Auswahl und gute Qualität.

Der Sicherheitsprozess und die Sicherheitstüren und den Zugang zu Karten nur ein wenig über dem Top scheinen, aber wir waren wirklich sicher. Wir genossen einen leckeren Weihnachtsabend auf der Obergeschoss des Hotels. Es war eine erstaunliche Erfahrung. Meine einzige Beschwerde ist, dass ich zwar die Klimaanlage auf und die Temperatur eingestellt hatte, um das Zimmer ein wenig zu kühlen, die Einheit lief während unseres zweitägigen Aufenthalts und nie das Zimmer kühlte oder die gewählte Temperatur erreichte. Auch das im Zimmertelefon funktionierte nicht. Ich bat eine Wartungsperson, zu kommen, um beide F-Fragen zu überprüfen und niemand kam je. Das Bett war sehr komfortabel und der moderne Stil des Zimmers war schön.

Wir haben hier 2 Nächte am Ende unseres Safari verblieben. Es ist direkt neben dem Bus von Arusha ab. Das Essen im Restaurant ist ziemlich anständig mit vielen Wahlen und Sie haben alles unter einem Dach einschließlich einer Bar, wenn Sie möchten bleiben. Es gibt viel Lärm von Partys am Wochenende. Das Personal ist wirklich hilfreich und freundlich, vor allem Connie, Joseph, Caroline und alle Rezeption/Sicherheitspersonal. Sie machten unseren Aufenthalt viel nützlicher. Unser Zimmer war geräumig und hatte zwei Betten und eine Suite WC und Dusche. Ich würde hier noch einmal bleiben, vor allem wegen der Lage.

Khweza ist ein großartiges Budgethotel im Stadtzentrum von Nairobi. Personal ist super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Ein Personal hat sogar ihre eigenen Mpesa verwendet, um uns Zugtickets zu bekommen, da wir keinen Zugang hatten. Wirklich großartig. Das Dach ist wunderbar & ein riesiger Verkaufspunkt. Das Bett und die Dusche waren gut. Alles war sauber. Essen war ok, es dauerte ein bisschen, bis Sie auch bei dem Frühstück bestellen, bevor Sie das Abendessen bestellen. Die Lobby ist willkommen. Wir blieben sechs Tage und gingen auf eine 3-day Safari, Tagesausflüge usw. und all unsere Sachen blieben sicher. Wenn wir die ganze Zeit dort geschlafen hätten, hätten wir wahrscheinlich Zimmer von vorn nach hinten wechseln, da die Vornzimmer etwas laut sind in der Nacht mit LKWs durchfahren. Aber sonst sehr gut. Wir würden zurückgehen, wenn wir wieder nach einem sauberen, freundlichen Budget-Stadt in Nairobi suchen.

An absolutely thrilling experience there. I stayed for a month, but everyday I was treated like a new client, top notch service and amazing customer reception. I had the eagles view of the city, I can’t get over it. Someone pinch me the get back to reality. I call that my home away from home. I strongly recommend longonot place and apartment for people who are just visiting and want safety, comfort and amazing hospitality. Mary at the reception was also very supportive, even when not on sit she ensures that all complaints and issues by customers are attended. She’s well spoken, great composure even under pressure from client. Please ensure to ask about her whenever you visit.

I stayed at Hemak Suites for 2 nights, and overall the place & service is ok. The hotel building is in a very busy part of the city, which doesn’t seem too safe, and the surrounding area does get quite noisy, esp. at night. The reception is on the 4th floor and the restaurant is on the 7th floor of the building. The room I stayed in on the 5th floor was ok. It was clean, & the bed was comfortable enough. However, the bathroom is quite small, & it is open as there is no door. Once you enter the door to the room, the bathroom sink is to the right, then there’s the toilet & shower, but there is no door or shower curtain that separates it from the room. It’s probably ok if you’re solo in the room, but maybe not so much for two people. At night, I could hear loud music from the nearby bars in the area & on the 2nd night, I awoke in the middle of the night to the sound of loud music. But then, there was a power outage so the music stopped but then around 3am the circuit breaker in my room made a loud buzzing sound that had me worried. Needless to say, I couldn’t go back to sleep. The buzzing kept on all morning until the time I left, all the lights were flickering, and of course, the elevator didn’t work since there was no power. I got my stuff ready & left the room, and with little sleep, left the hotel at 6am to head for my Maasai Mara safari. I did notify the front desk about the loud, buzzing breaker in my room & told him that maybe they just need to switch them off with the power out, then check the other rooms. As for the restaurant, the breakfast was good, & they have a good selection of food for lunch & dinner. The staff here was also friendly, as they packed a lunch for me while I visited Nairobi National Park. I would’ve had a better time here if I had gotten some sleep the night before my long drive the next day for my safari, if it wasn’t for the loud, buzzing breaker in the room.
