Club Wyndham SeaWatch Resort

Great location with lovely views. This location likely has the best equipped kitchen of any we’ve stayed at. I was easily able to prepare both Christmas Eve and Christmas Day dinners in our unit. Parking was adequate for our needs, and they don’t nit pic with continuous fees for everything. Lots of lovely pools and hot tubs with excellent beach access. Our unit was super clean and had beach towels, dishwasher and laundry soap, salt & pepper and enough coffee filters for the whole week. The staff was very friendly (if you can get past the sales people) and check in/check out was a breeze. The wristbands are super convenient…and a nice touch. This will be a number one choice when visiting MB

SeaWatch was more than what we had expected and would definitely book this location again. No need to bring shampoo, conditioner, body wash/lotion, hair dryer as all was supplied. Also a coffee maker with coffee, although sugar and cream would be up to you. Unfortunately, there was no kettle for the non coffee drinkers, but we made due with using a pot to boil water. The dishes and cookware were plentiful. Beach towels are also supplied in the suite. The washer and dryer were a bit loud but they also supplied laundry soap! We were thrilled with the amenities at the resort. Daily activities were available and there were three pools and hot tubs a lazy river and a fire pit! The only negative thing was that the windows in the unit don’t open and there was no screen on the balcony door, although we opened it to get fresh airflow through the unit. The staff were amazing and if you needed refills of anything, they responded right away and followed up to make sure you received what you requested.

A group of high school friends, all in our 60’s, spent a week at the resort. The room had a great view of the pools and the ocean. We spent a great deal of time on our balcony, if we weren’t at the beach or pool. We loved reserving our beach chairs for most of our stay, so we always knew whatever time we arrived at the beach, our chairs were available. The room was very clean and decorated nicely. Check in was easy and fast. There was always available covered parking. I liked the multiple pools, so if one had too many kids, there were more to choose from. I can easily say, fate all the ‘girls trips’ this was the best week ever!

From check-in to check-out the staff at this resort was outstanding. Room was clean and well maintained and comfortable. We had a room that faced the beach and we watched sunrise every day we were there. Beach was clean and not crowed - great to walk on! Location was perfect to access golf courses and also enjoy the local attractions I will be returning to this resort.

Lovely resort with every room having a beautiful view. We were upgraded to a two bedroom 2 bathroom room and very friendly staff. The room was extremely clean and updated. Plenty of amenities and activities if interested. Only drawback was a high housekeeper fee.

We enjoyed a wonderful 5 nights. Our room was clean and well appointed, had everything we needed. We were able to buy s’mores kits to use at the firepit, enjoyed the pools and hot tub and lazy river, and of course the beach. Easy and available parking. There was a mixup upon checkin but James at the front desk handled it graciously and got us taken care of quickly. We can’t wait to return!

The resort is nice enough but needs some TLC. Upon check in, we were told we got bumped from our room to someone unknown who is more important then us and we were told we would have to relocate across town to another property. No other options. This was totally inconvenient as we were with golfing buddies who were not being relocated and had one large rental vehicle and a 35 minute commute back and forth multiple times a day for a week would make our plans impossible. My brother and I refused to accept this inconvenience and stood our ground and demanded we be accommodated and once the staff realized we were not going to allow them to ruin our vacation they miraculously came up with a room they had just insisted did not exist. After that miserable check in experience, it was hard to enjoy ourselves. We flew a thousand miles and spent a lot of money for this golf excursion in Myrtle Beach and to have that kind of reception from a supposedly reputable Wyndam resort was a real disappointment. Why would they not email or call us to discuss this forced arrangement. Instead, They waited until we made the trip and arrived in their lobby to give us the bad news. I wont ever stay at a Wyndam property again and I would advise everyone who does to never trust them and have a backup plan in place. Not going to make the same mistake twice.

We arrived really late due to flight delays (1:00am) and the check-in person was great. He said I should check in the morning about concierge service. We didn’t want the selling speal and never contacted them. They left the paperwork about the location outside our door The 3-bedroom deluxe was big but there were flaws that were hard to overlook; 1. The room had a moldy/mildew smell when you walked in (punch you in the face) and the bathroom area in the master was the same way. Could be due to no fan in the shower to eliminate some of the humidity in the room. 2. The bedroom carpet is absolutely disgusting. Don’t walk barefoot! 3. Beachfront with a balcony is nice except- people in the hot tub late at night are noisy and the people who smoke on their balcony ruin the experience to this sensitive to smoke. 4. Furniture is old and could use a refreshing. I’m sure owners pay through the nose for maintenance fees - put it to good use. We avoided the lobby for the sales pitch as this was our time not theirs. Didn’t get into the pool or hot tub but it looked like the hot tub was closed for maintenance. Can’t say this is my favorite MB location.

We drove to Myrtle Beach with the primary goal of having rest and relaxation and it was perfect!!!! Our accommodations were beautiful! The staff could not have been more helpful or professional. We stayed in Villa One at Seawatch Resort. It was really lovely. No complaints at all. It was so quiet. We will be back!
