Ich dachte immer noch, ich war schon ein paar Mal dort, aber ich habe keine Unterhaltungsmöglichkeiten für Kinder gefunden. Dieser Punkt sollte die Einführung der Webseite ändern. Das Hotel hat eine gute Aussicht, der Strand ist sauber und flach und der Service ist ausgezeichnet. Ein sehr geschmackvolles Hotel im britischen Kolonialstil ist einen Versuch wert.

Das Hotel ist sehr gut, gegenüber dem Meer, jeden Tag durch die Wolken und Wellen des Indischen Ozeans geweckt. Der Service ist sehr gut, insbesondere Dayananda und Gimhan helfen sehr viel, eine sehr gute Erfahrung. Der Strand außerhalb des Hotels ist auch 100 m entfernt, lobenswert

The Villa in Lavinia is in a beautiful old building. From the road doesn't look so great but inside is very nice. The owner Tyrone made us feel very welcome and all the staff were kind and friendly. The hotel is convenient for getting into Colombo. Many nearby buses go there. Also a nearby supermarket and several good restaurants. The part of the beach near to the hotel is not so nice but is better if you walk further down towards the big and famous Hotel Mount Lavinia. We stayed 5 nights but the hotel and the area is probably better suited to shorter stays. Room simple but adequate. Very good internet connexion. All in all, a pleasant stay.

This hotel is a bit of a mixed bag. Let me start with the good parts.... Our room, 709 was a large suite. It had two toilet rooms and lovely views of the Colombo skyline in one direction and of the sea looking the other direction. Depending on why you are staying at this hotel, it's location on the main road, a hike from the beach, may or may not be a good thing. For us, it was a good location. Staff was generally helpful, when they were available. Our room cleaning guy was great. Often around and always pleasant. We were at the hotel in May. Perhaps this was a particularly low visitor time of year. The place was pretty dead. And, there were times that it was difficult, if not impossible, for us to find any staff. There was never any real food available, that we saw. The one time we were ready and free to use the roof top swimming pool, on Saturday afternoon, seems to have been when they decided to chlorinate the pool. So, we were disappointed that we couldn't use it. The most disappointing (and perhaps the only really disappointing) thing about our stay at Anarva Mount Lavinia was the antiquated Wi-Fi system that was totally inadequate for most anything. It was a real frustration and seems to be quite inexcusable in 2023.

Wir verbrachten fünf Nächte im Laviniahaus und hatten dort eine wunderbare Zeit. Wir interagierten mit dem Eigentümer Nevile, dem Personal und dem anderen Gast. Der Ort erlaubt Ihnen, Ihre Mahlzeiten zu speichern, wenn Sie gerne kochen möchten. Es war nur eine Minute zu Fuß zum Strand. Station, Supermärkte und Restaurants. Wir hatten ein großes Zimmer und es ist wirklich sauber. Das Bett war so komfortable und die Dusche war gut mit heißem Wasser, sehr intelligentes sauberes Badezimmer. Das gemeinsame Gebiet hat eine wunderschöne Dekoration und Tageslicht. Großer Wert für Geld!

Das Hostel hat die beste Lage: wirklich ruhiger Bereich, nur 200mts vom Strand und 15 Minuten mit dem Zug vom Stadtzentrum (Colombo). Gute Atmosphäre. Erstaunliche gemeinsame Umgebung. Schönes Meerblick. Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Kostenloses Filterwasser. Geteilte Zimmer (mit Fans) Private Zimmer (mit und ohne A/C) Das Gebiet umliegt viele Komforts: Markt, Apotheke, Restaurants. Nur 15 Minuten zu Fuß vom Bahnhof Mount Lavinia und 5 Minuten zu Fuß zum Busstand (viele Optionen zu Colombo)
