Hotel de La Poste

Great restaurant set within a friendly family run hotel with fabulous views across the valley. There’s a pool as well. Highly recommend a stay there. Recently refurbished and very comfortable- stayed twice and no regrets

We stayed for two weeks at the end of April and have never felt so welcome in any other hotel. Superb food, super service from the most friendly and pleasant staff and a lovely refurbished room looking out over the town from the balcony. Highly recommend this hotel run by the most welcoming family.

We had stayed here on a couple of occasions whilst renovating a house nearby. It was a comfortable and clean hotel but a bit dated and in need of refurbishment. However the restaurant was excellent and since moving to the area we have dined here on numerous occasions. Last week we booked a table for a family meal and were surprised when we arrived to be greeted by a new member of staff and an updated and freshly decorated reception. We soon realised after entering a newly decorated dining room that maybe it was under new management. A conversation with the new manager confirmed this. He also confirmed that the chef had not changed and even though the new menu was reduced in choice the quality and freshness of produce remained unchanged. I can confirm this is the case. The food was delicious the service excellent and the ambience second to none. As a bonus the prices are fantastic. I can highly recommend the restaurant and if the public area decor is anything to go by the rooms will be just as lovely once they are completed.

Nous avons reçu un accueil hyper chaleureux. Chambres confortables, literie agréable. Petit déjeuner copieux et varié . Dîner excellent et original. Je recommande vivement autant pour l’accueil que pour les repas pris dans cet hôtel

Hôtel très accueillant avec piscine particulièrement appréciable après une longue route. La terrasse du restaurant est un veritable plus. La carte reste simple, le service est agréable et le rapport qualité prix est très honnête. Une bonne étape que nous recommandons.

Accueil parfait avec humour malgré notre retard . Menu du jour à 15 € Œuf mollet - tomates Bœuf bourguignon Assiette de fromages Présentations parfaites Goûts parfaits Manquait un peu de fromages mais à 15 € pas facile d’en rajouter Vin : Blaye 23 € pour un midi c’est parfait 👍 Je conseille vivement cet endroit J’y reviendrai

Abbiamo cenato e pernottato in ben 19 persone presso questo hotel. Eravamo un gruppo di colleghi che passavamo da Mortain in bicicletta. L'hotel è in una posizione perfetta, in centro paese e a poca distanza dala Veloscenie, la strada ciclabile che abbiamo percorso e che da Parigi arriva fino a Mont Saint Michel. Avevamo prenotato per tempo e ci hanno accolto con cordialità e gentilezza cercando di venirci incontro in tutte le nostre esigenze. Le stanze erano accoglienti, belle quelle ristrutturate (purtroppo non ancora tutte!), bellissima la vista. Deliziosa la cena! Grazie mille, siamo stati benissimo e spero ci sia un'altra occasione per tornare!

Très belle surprise que la découverte de ce restaurant à L’hôtel de la poste digne d’un gastro !! Des plats très bien dosés et équilibrés avec des cuissons parfaites ! Un vin divin de Louis Jadot, le tout agrémenté par un service de qualité et fort sympathique. Musique d’ambiance et décoration de goût. Hâte de découvrir l’hôtel, nous recommandons ! Accueil très chaleureux. Très attentif à nos besoins avec notre enfant de 3 ans et demi. La chambre était confortable mais la moquette usée et tachée mériterait une rénovation. Domage. La cuisine du restaurant est excellente dans salle très agréable. Bon rapport qualité prix, mais reste quand même cher par rapport au prix de la nuitée. On a vite fait de doubler le coût du séjour si on se laisse tenter.
