Alles in allem sehr enttäuschend. Das Badezimmer war dreckig und hatte einige Defekts. Unter anderen war der Toilettenabroller weg, die brausen waren undicht und die Handtücher hatten große gelbe Flecken. Die regendusche war sehr verrostet und die Wände vom Schlafzimmer hatten große schwarze Flecken. Nachbarn waren bis nachts sehr laut auf dem Balkon (gut hierfür kann das Hotel nicht, jedoch ist die beworbene schalldichte nicht wirklich vorhanden). Zum Abendessen: Wir waren leider sehr enttäuscht, es gab Zwiebelsuppe, danach Hühnchen mit Fenchel und Kartoffeln und als dolci panna cotta. Geschmacklich war es leider nicht so der Hammer.. wir hatten uns durch die Bewertungen mehr erhofft. Der Pool schließt leider auch ab 19 Uhr, stattdessen darf man einer Drohne beim spionieren zusehen. Zum Frühstück: Alles war frisch und überschaubar. Wurst und Käse wird an den Tisch gebracht. Zum guten: Der Kaffee war der beste Hotelkaffee welchen wir in Italien getrunken haben. Zudem war das Personal auch super freundlich. Trotzdem würden wir nicht mehr kommen, da die Qualität für den Preis einfach zu minderwertig ist.

Meine Frau und ich stoppten hier auf der Durchreise. Wir suchten ein Zimmer für eine Nacht und bekam hier eine (obwohl wir nich reserviert hatten). Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen und fühlten uns gleich wohl, das Abendessen im Hotelrestaurant war ebenfalls ein Volltreffer. Eine kleine Auswahl an super leckeren Speisen und ein wahnsinnig netter Kellner. Auch das Frühstück sticht hervor (größer als in Italien üblich). Das Hotel mag ein bisschen in die Jahre gekommen sein, allerdings auf eine charmante Art und Weise. Wir kommen definitiv wieder und dann länger als nur eine Nacht.

Stayed for a couple nights in the Rossa Suite. This is lovely guesthouse, with our Suite being on the top floor of the building having stunning view of the countryside and other buildings in Montepulciano. Rossa suite was large with plenty of space. What I really liked was the communication from the owners. The day before I received a whatsapp message asking when we will be arriving and giving us general directions to the hotel. During the stay they would also message you to make sure everything was OK. Other points to note: - Location is about 100m from the bottom of the hill where the main entrance of the old town is. - The hotel is on the top floor, so you need to walk up 3 flights of stairs to reach. The Rossa suite is up another very narrow staircase. We were travelling with 2 large suitcases. It was OK for us but it is worth noting for anyone who may have issues with this. - Our suite did have an aircon unit but didn't seem to be working as the control on the wall did not operate it. When we were staying in June the temp was generally cool, but i imagine it could be an issue in the heat of summer. We did not ask if there is a separate remote control for the aircon unit. - There is a nice rooftop balcony that is available for all guests. Good views and there a chairs if you fancy a late afternoon drink. - Small kitchen area on the main floor. - Breakfast was at a cafe about 100m from the hotel. Its a nice historic cafe. The standard breakfast is just drinks and pastries. Through the hotel we paid an extra 3 euro each to include a hot option that was basically eggs and piece of bacon. - There are plenty of places for lunch in town but they do get busy with large tour groups and day trippers. If you are having dinner we strongly recommend booking in advance as not all places are open in the evening, particularly on Mondays as we found to our peril!

Nicht weit von der Stadt Montepulciano, aber eine Reihe von Kurven und keine Decken machen den Spaziergang riskant. Ein Auto oder ein öffentlicher Verkehr sind notwendig, um sicher zu reisen. 1. Das Personal ist sehr nett und willkommen, alle Fragen zu lösen. Bei der Buchung haben sie mit uns die Details aller Zimmertypen diskutiert, um jegliche Enttäuschung zu vermeiden. Während der Eincheckung wurden alle Regeln erläutert. Sie halfen uns, einen Taxifahrer zu rufen (Wir sprechen nicht Italienisch), empfohlene lokale Lebensmittel, beste Parkplatz in Siena, etc. Perfekt Englisch. Wichtig, wenn Sie nicht Italienisch sprechen. 2. Die Zimmer. Viele hängen vom Zimmertyp, seiner Lage und seiner Größe ab. Alle sind sauber, das Reinigungspersonal besucht sie jeden Tag. Handtücher und Bettwäsche wurden häufig geändert. Die Klimaanlage funktionierte auf Nachfrage (von der Rezeption betrieben), aber ihre Notwendigkeit hängt stark von der Lage des Zimmers ab (die besten haben sonnige Morgen und eine heiße Atmosphäre). Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Seitenblick und brauchte es einmal. Einige Zimmer haben eine kleine Anzahl von Stromausgängen (wichtig, wenn Kinder alles zu belasten...). 3. Frühstück. Sie können entweder süß oder schmackhafte Version oder beides wählen. Nicht viel Platz zum Frühstück am Morgen (es ist eine Notwendigkeit, es am Tag vor zu planen). Es ist jedoch eine sehr angenehme Erfahrung - erstaunliche Ansichten, die aufsteigende Sonne, Lizards, Squirrels, Vögel, etc. 4. Ausstattung. Tischtennis, Tennis, Schwimmbad. Keine Bar, kein Restaurant. Alles Essen außerhalb des Hotels. Nicht ein Fehler, Hunderte von Orten dienen hervorragende lokale Lebensmittel und Wein. Aber Sie brauchen eine Art Transport. Auf Fuß ist möglich, aber sehr heiß... 5. Mosquitoes. Es gibt viele. Wenn Sie oder Ihr Kind schwach oder allergisch sind, Vorbereiten Sie Repellente. Abende und Nächte sind mit Moskitos. Nicht ein Hotel-spezifisches Merkmal, sie sind überall. Im Allgemeinen ist es ein sehr ruhiger und schöner Ort, um zu schlafen und zu Ruhe nach einem Besuch der malerischen Tuskanie. Ich war überrascht von der Stille in der Nacht. Keine Touristen, die unter dem Fenster in der Straße laufen, keine Stadtveranstaltungen. Nur Schweigen. Nochmals danken wir dem Personal für ihre freundlichen und sehr angenehme Aufenthalte.

Wir hatten unsere Hochzeit hier ab Juni 30 - Juli 1. Wir buchten mehr als 2 Zimmer. 5 Jahre im Voraus und arbeiteten mit Antonella während des gesamten Prozesses. Sie war erstaunlich, mit zu arbeiten und sehr empfehlen, eine Hochzeit in Borgo zu haben! Wir vermieten das ganze Eigentum ausschließlich für uns und Gästen für das Wochenende. Die Grundstücke sind so schön mit Blick auf den ganzen Borgo. Die Zimmer sind auch sehr schön mit einem rustikalen Tuskan Gefühl. Antonella und das gesamte Borgo Personal arbeiteten mit uns zusammen, um unser Hochzeitsende perfekt zu machen. Im letzten Moment mussten wir die Abendessensoren wegen Regen ändern, und das Personal war schnell, um alle Tische in der Innenstadt zu ändern. Ich hatte Gäste zu mir kommen und sagen, das war die beste Hochzeit, die sie je hatten. Wir werden zum Borgo für unsere Geburtstagstag zurückkehren!
