The hotel was exceptional in every way, except one. First of all, the bed and pillows were especially comfortable, the best we've experienced, and we've been to a lot of hotels. The bathroom, including toiletries provided, were top notch. For once, I enjoyed the hotel shampoo/conditioner/body wash/and pump hand soap. The coffee maker was nice, modern, and had great variety. The mini fridge actually worked to keep beverages cold. The Star Bar has AMAZING food and drinks and is located off of the hotel lobby - don't miss their French onion soup - it's truly the best we've experienced. The staff was just amazing - from houskeeping to the front desk. Parking is adjacent and in/out access is allowed, but is a bit spendy at 35 dollars a day - which we found to be worth it because the parking garage was in excellent condition with direct hotel elevator access from the garage. The only minus is that there is no green spaces close by for dogs. My parents stayed in the room next to us on the 17th floor with their golden retriever, who is under the age of 1, and they had to get him down to the ground floor and outside without any accidents only to find that there is no grass in a several block area. So, yes, they are pet friendly, but there is only concrete in this area of the city.
