Vi kom till hotellet 1,5 timmar innan incheckning och fick då beskedet att rummet var redo men ville vi checka in tidigare skulle det kosta oss 500 pesos. Vi valde att återkomma och fick då vänta i 20 minuter för att få vårt rum. Det var tre personal i receptionen och vi var de enda gästerna! Jag hade tidigare mailat hotellet och frågat om late check-out vid två tillfällen utan svar och ställde samma fråga omigen - utan svar. Då vårt långdistansflyg först skulle lyfta sent på kvällen hade detta varit betydelsefullt för oss. När vi väl checkade ut framförde jag mina synpunkter till ägaren och han avfärdade då kritiken med att han hade problem med personalen… Rummet var stort och bekvämt -tyvärr med påtalande mögeldoft.
Restaurangen låg trevligt på taket och maten var bra. Trots få gäster fick vi vänta länge på vår frukost och flera par som kom senare än oss fick sin mat före.
Vår upplevelse av hotellet motsvarade tyvärr inte våra förväntningar.

Es war sehr klein, aber sehr schön. Der Kundenservice war hervorragend, abgesehen von ein paar kleinen Pannen, aber insgesamt erstaunlich.

Das Personal war großartig und gab sich alle Mühe, uns mit allem zu helfen, was wir brauchten. Das Einzige, was ich empfehlen würde, wäre, den Kauf eines Ventilators auf dem örtlichen Markt in Betracht zu ziehen. Im Zimmer wird es trotz eingeschalteter Klimaanlage etwas heiß.

A lot of the staff could speak some English or get help. They were very patient when communicating. Breakfast is a nice sit down and be served meal, but starts at 9am.
At check in we were told that we could have a complimentary drink at the upstairs bar in the evening, but our waiter didn't seem to understand or know about this so we dropped it.
The rooms were wonderful and able to be dark at night. The evening bands on the rooftop were fun to attend and stoped playing at a reasonable time when you needed a quieter room.
I'd recommend for someone wanting a nice room in historic district.

Highly recommend! The staff are amazing, the location is great and the rooms are large and clean. The super friendly, helpful (and patient with me trying bad Spanish before speaking English) left a lasting impression on me. I recommend this stay to anyone visiting the city.

SO LOUD at night it’s ridiculous! The restaurant blasts music until midnight and then an hour of cleanup after with paper thin walls. How this is a 4-star hotel is beyond me. Believe me, stay anywhere else but here in centro!

The property itself, and the rooms are very boutique and quaint. We were in love when we first walked in and saw the property. Our problems were with the extremely loud bands that were playing each night. Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. They would have a live band that was so loud we could not sleep until midnight. Then a DJ would follow that until about 1:30. In addition to that, we didn’t have hot or even warm water for three out of the 6 days we stayed there. Upon complaint about the water, we were just told that it would be taken care of, which it was not, and nobody ever followed up with us until we went down to complain again. When we asked to change rooms due to the noise and the water situation, the response was,”somebody should have emailed you about the noise”. No response to the water situation. When I asked to speak with a manager, they went to speak with her, she looked our way, and gave us a dirty look, and just jumped in the elevator, and we never spoke with her. It’s unfortunate as this is an amazing property with a great rooftop facility. Very close to many dining options. And lots of shopping. Due to the customer service, no hot water, and the noise, I would not recommend anybody staying here.
