Alles über diesen Ort sagt Motel, nicht 5 Star Hotel. Mangel an Hausaufbewahrung - unser Zimmer wurde in 7 Tagen zweimal gereinigt und nicht gut. Wir haben endlich aufgefüttert und gefragt, um saubere Handtücher. Als wir bei der Rezeption anreisen, gab es andere Gäste, die sich über ihre schmutzigen Zimmer beschweren. Fünftes Restaurant - das Frühstücksbuffet war schrecklich. Es gab keine Omelettebar oder sogar eine Basis Pancake-Maschine. Keine Option für Barista-Made-Kaffee, das ist ein Minimum in jedem “5-Sterne-Hotel”. Strato Restaurant - wir reservierten das für eine besondere Gelegenheit. Es gab keine Anerkennung. Sie setzen uns an einem Tisch neben der Küchentür und in einem Ecke mit keiner Aussicht, obwohl ein guter Eckestisch leer ist die ganze Zeit, die wir dort waren. Wir warten jeweils 30 Minuten für 2 Kurse und wir essen noch 30 Minuten nach der 2-Stunden-Zuweisung. Die Atmosphäre wurde ständig durch die Küche schreien “Service bitte!” Nur oben war das zusätzliche Brot und kostenlose Mocktail, die sie uns angeboten, ich nehme an, aufgrund des langsamen Services. Langsamer Aufzug - wir mussten eine zusätzliche 15 Minuten für unsere Abreise zuweisen, wenn wir das Zimmer verlassen. Armer Service - wie bereits pro gesagt, der Service war sehr schlecht, wenn Sie ihn mit einem anderen 5-Sterne-Hotel verglichen. Es war durchschnittlich, wenn Sie denken, Sie sind im Motel. Zusätzlich war der Service im Lobbybar, weil sie Trainingspersonal waren, lächerlich langsam. Wir warten 15 Minuten auf sie, 2 Weine zu servieren. Die Empfangsstelle war auch aus Gutscheinen (ein Teil unseres Pakets) herausgelaufen und sagte uns, später zurückzukommen und zu sagen: „Wir haben vergessen, einige unserer Gutscheine zu holen“, anstatt ihre Fehler zu erkennen. Lage - wir wussten, dass das geht, aber es ist ein langer Spaziergang in die CBD und Sie brauchen eine Myki-Karte, weil die nächste Tramhaltestelle außerhalb der Freizone ist. Zusammenfassend: Vermeiden Sie diesen Ort, wenn Sie Luxus suchen. Wir haben das für eine besondere Gelegenheit gebucht und waren sehr enttäuscht. Das einzige gute ist die Ansichten von einigen Teilen der Restaurants.

A new and charming hotel, in the district of Docklands in Melbourne. Excellent location, very calm and quiet, next to a Tram Station, free ride to several places in the city, including downtown, walking to the Docklands and the Marina. The room was comfortable and specially clean, great king bed, nice shower with good amenities. Amazing infinity pool with a great view, sauna and a equiped fitness center. The breakfast has great quality, excellent food and beverages. The highlight are the staff, very attentive and friendly, the general manager Mr. Christian, is always available and present. One of the best lounge in Marriott Hotels. The M Club has a super nice atmosphere, excellent options for food and drinks, excellent wines and a chef in the morning preparing a very good breakfast. Congratulations to Fazeel and his team, they are ALL spectacular. I recommend André I'll be back. Thanks to all the wonderful human being from this elegant Marriott Hotel.

Stayed here for 2 nights on a quick trip to Melbourne. Very comfortable bed and plenty of room in the walk in wardrobe for your luggage and clothes. Little tight getting around the bed however nothing major. Plenty of room in the living kitchen area. Close to Woolies and walking distance to city and South Melbourne. Would stay here again

Overall, very satisfied with the stay. The room I got was pretty spacious. There was CCTV on the room floor and hotel guests can only access the level that they stay. The hotel is also within walking distance/free tram ride from many tourist sights. Would have been better if they have a drinking water refill station.

Es liegt im Stadtzentrum. Wenn Sie zum ersten Mal einchecken, gibt es auf der linken Seite viele Einkaufszentren zum Essen und Einkaufen, auf der rechten Seite jedoch relativ wenige. Wenn Sie alleine sind, nehmen Sie den Skybus-Doppeldeckerbus für 22 australische Dollar in die Innenstadt, kaufen Sie ihn am Bahnhof mit Ihrer Kreditkarte und er fährt ohne Zwischenstopp direkt in die Innenstadt. Steigen Sie aus und nehmen Sie die Straßenbahn vom Bahnsteig direkt gegenüber der Straße für zwei Haltestellen, drehen Sie dann an der Kreuzung um und steigen Sie auf der anderen Straße in die Straßenbahn um, nehmen Sie die Straßenbahn für eine Haltestelle, steigen Sie bei Baidu Map Navigation aus und gehen Sie ein kleines Stück . Achten Sie in Australien darauf, auf der linken Seite zu fahren, und fahren Sie nicht auf der gegenüberliegenden Seite. Die Straßenbahnen sind in dieser Gegend kostenlos, Sie können also einsteigen, solange sie an diesem Bahnsteig halten. Straßenbahnfreie Flächenkarte hellblauer rechteckiger Bereich. Die Rückfahrt zum Flughafen auf dem gleichen Weg kostet mehr als 23 australische Dollar. Dies ist die schnellste und wirtschaftlichste Variante. Wenn Sie damit vertraut sind, können Sie Ihr Ziel in 40 Minuten erreichen. Ein Taxi zum Hotel kostet mehr als 70 australische Dollar, und ein Uber kostet fast 50 australische Dollar mehr. Da in der Nähe seit gestern Straßenbauarbeiten stattfinden, müssen wir einen Umweg in Kauf nehmen, um in das Geschäftsviertel zu gelangen. Obwohl das Zimmer etwas klein ist, ist es nicht mit den aktuellen inländischen Zimmern zu vergleichen. Ich weiß nicht, ob es modernisiert wurde.

Very convenient, close to Victoria Market. Walkable to South cross station. Many shops nearby, 7/11 just down the street. There’s a Sarawak and Indonesia restaurant nearby within walking distance. Room was neat, but without any much necessities like toothbrush comb etc. Friendly staffs.. quiet place.

Der Service im Hotel war freundlich, aber der Standard, akzeptiert, dass es ein billiges Hotel war unter dem, was ich erwartet hatte... alle Möbel haben Chips von Farbe fehlen und die Sofa und Gräte haben bemerkenswerte kleine Rippen, allgemeine Verfärbung und nur ein allgemeines schauen nach unten. Das Badezimmer und die Küche vor allem mit einem wirklich tief sauber... nur einige zusätzliche Aufmerksamkeit auf die Waschung von Wänden und Nüssen und Kranie auf der oberen Standard-Check-out-Wäsche über, um es tatsächlich mehr als Oberfläche sauber zu machen... Es ist wirklich die kleinen Dinge; 5 kleine Flaschen Shampoo und kein Konditioner zu liefern, (fragt die Reinigungspersonal und sie sagten, keine Konditioner wird ausgegeben) aber behaupten, Toiletten zu liefern... keine Haartrockner, nur 2 Handtücher für eine Person für 2 Nächte; Um eine Waschmaschine, aber nicht Waschmittel für die Waschmaschine zu liefern... aber 6 Tabletten für den Waschmaschine? Ungewöhnliche Entscheidungen, die alle hinzugefügt, dass ich nicht bereit, wieder in diesem Hotel zu bleiben oder empfehlen. Ich genossen auch die Lagen in der Nähe von Aldi für Kleidung waschen Flüssigkeit, Klimaanlage und Reinigungsschränke, so dass ich mich bequem in einem schmutzigen Zimmer fühlen konnte..

Nice location. Easy access to any attractions in town. All within walking distance. Friendly staffs and good environment. Second time staying here after 2019. Still as good as before. Recommended if your are on a budget trip. Worth the price.

The staff were not following COVID protocols. None wore masks. Day manager actually spoke to us with mask on chin and AROUND the safety barrier. One pen used for everything by everyone. Night manager & staff as well as other guests were all maskless. We were not asked to show proof of our vaccination status. Inspired ZERO confidence that they were actually sanitising anything. My partner also felt unsafe as there were a lot of people loitering around the building. The room was clean and tidy. Located excellently for the event we were attending. Hot water worked, loved the choice of flooring. That was all. The room offered only one single bar of soap. No shower gel, shampoo or any extra toiletries as is expected from even the most basic accomodation you can stay in anywhere else. I have stayed in youth hostels in the outback and even they offered more than a tiny bar of soap. There was no indications of any extra services offered or being available. There were no extra pillows or blankets available in the room. One very flat pillow per person and a thin doona only. The pillows were so low that I could not sleep on it and when I asked for another pillow from the night manager I was met with rudeness. He finally gave me an old, dirty pillow with no pillow case (see photos). When I asked for a pillow case he acted like I was being ridiculous. We slept badly as the bed was very hard. Actually went home and slept as we were so tired from the uncomfortable bed. Upon checkout we got stuck in the lift as the door to the G floor would not open. We finally called for help using the phone but even though the front desk manager answered and said he would be with us immediately he was not. We finally left by going back to our floor and using the fire escape to exit via the basement parking. He then told us he couldn’t hear what we were saying on the phone so basically ignored us, and then gave some rubbish excuse about the one elevator being an old one that was not for guests. Basically if we had not exited the way we did we would have been stuck in the elevator for hours being ignored. There was no signage indicating anywhere that one of the two lifts was not for guests, and if the lift was not for guests you would think it would be clearly marked so.

My wife and I operate a small coach tour company, and have done so for the last 28 years. We offer residents of Sydney, the Central Coast, the Southern Highlands, Canberra and Queanbeyan, the opportunity to travel on a variety of tours, ranging from four days to ten days in length, to different areas in Eastern Australia. Last week, a group of our passengers from these areas travelled on a seven-day tour to Victoria. During the tour, our passengers stayed for four nights at the Novotel Melbourne Preston. We certainly have no complaints or regrets about using this Hotel for our group’s stay! When I first contacted the Hotel in September 2023, about the possibility of using it for my tour group’s accommodation for this tour, my enquiry was treated with genuine enthusiasm. I was put through to the Sales Manager, Ms Michele Kerrigan. Michele was amazing to deal with. After a steady stream of telephone conversations and emails during the next few days, the accommodation was booked, and the menus for all the dinners during this stay were locked in. At some hotels we’ve used over the years, this process can take weeks, and it can be quite a frustrating experience. At this Hotel, it was the exact opposite. So, a huge ‘thank you’ to Michele, for making this all so easy for us as tour organisers! After all the arrangements we finalised, and the booking was locked in, Michele passed on our booking to the Sales Coordinator, Annalise Dimase. Once again, Annalise was an absolute delight to work with! Between the finalisation of the booking, and the date of the group’s arrival, we spoke many, many times on the phone, and exchanged many, many emails. In all my dealings with Annalise, she was professional, personable, helpful, patient, and attentive. On a few occasions, when Annalise was unavailable, I was transferred to Nada, another member of the Sales Team. Again, Nada was wonderful to work with. When our tour group arrived at the hotel, Michele, Nada, and Annalise were all there to greet the passengers. They were very impressed by the warm and friendly welcome offered to them by this team! Once inside the Hotel, this level of service was experienced in all sections. The reception staff, the housekeeping staff, the restaurant staff, the chef and kitchen staff were all friendly, welcoming, obliging, and helpful. We would have no hesitation in recommending this Hotel to any tour groups requiring accommodation in Melbourne. Judging by our experience, it would be difficult to surpass the level of attentiveness and friendliness offered by the management team and staff, the quality of service, the degree of comfort, and the attention to detail our group received during their stay.
