Awsome, ein kürzlich renoviertes Hotel ca. 30 Minuten außerhalb von Melbourne CBD. Unspottlich sauber, gut gepreistes Hotel mit sehr komfortabel klimatisiertem Zimmer. Auch ein willkommenes Getränk, eine unerwartete Überraschung. Das Hotel liegt nur etwa 150 m vom Bahnhof entfernt. Das Hotel verfügt über einen hervorragenden Bistro für Mittagessen und Abendessen. Das gemeinsame Badezimmer ist auch super sauber und gut gepflegt.

My wife and I operate a small coach tour company, and have done so for the last 28 years. We offer residents of Sydney, the Central Coast, the Southern Highlands, Canberra and Queanbeyan, the opportunity to travel on a variety of tours, ranging from four days to ten days in length, to different areas in Eastern Australia. Last week, a group of our passengers from these areas travelled on a seven-day tour to Victoria. During the tour, our passengers stayed for four nights at the Novotel Melbourne Preston. We certainly have no complaints or regrets about using this Hotel for our group’s stay! When I first contacted the Hotel in September 2023, about the possibility of using it for my tour group’s accommodation for this tour, my enquiry was treated with genuine enthusiasm. I was put through to the Sales Manager, Ms Michele Kerrigan. Michele was amazing to deal with. After a steady stream of telephone conversations and emails during the next few days, the accommodation was booked, and the menus for all the dinners during this stay were locked in. At some hotels we’ve used over the years, this process can take weeks, and it can be quite a frustrating experience. At this Hotel, it was the exact opposite. So, a huge ‘thank you’ to Michele, for making this all so easy for us as tour organisers! After all the arrangements we finalised, and the booking was locked in, Michele passed on our booking to the Sales Coordinator, Annalise Dimase. Once again, Annalise was an absolute delight to work with! Between the finalisation of the booking, and the date of the group’s arrival, we spoke many, many times on the phone, and exchanged many, many emails. In all my dealings with Annalise, she was professional, personable, helpful, patient, and attentive. On a few occasions, when Annalise was unavailable, I was transferred to Nada, another member of the Sales Team. Again, Nada was wonderful to work with. When our tour group arrived at the hotel, Michele, Nada, and Annalise were all there to greet the passengers. They were very impressed by the warm and friendly welcome offered to them by this team! Once inside the Hotel, this level of service was experienced in all sections. The reception staff, the housekeeping staff, the restaurant staff, the chef and kitchen staff were all friendly, welcoming, obliging, and helpful. We would have no hesitation in recommending this Hotel to any tour groups requiring accommodation in Melbourne. Judging by our experience, it would be difficult to surpass the level of attentiveness and friendliness offered by the management team and staff, the quality of service, the degree of comfort, and the attention to detail our group received during their stay. Lygon Lodge has always been my go to stay when in Melbourne. It has recently been sold and this was first stay since the sale. The new consortium have continued with the same warm welcome. Lovely reception staff. Improvements were noticeable. I like to stay in a particular room, and once again it felt familiar and comfortable. I have to commend the wonderful cleaning staff, each day they left my room spotlessly clean. Lygon Lodge is in a fabulous location. Close to everything the area has to offer, such as restaurants, cafes & bars, a fabulous arthouse theatre, and wonderful bookshop, amongst other fantastic shops. Public transport nearby. Lygon Lodge ticks all the boxes.

Nice location. Easy access to any attractions in town. All within walking distance. Friendly staffs and good environment. Second time staying here after 2019. Still as good as before. Recommended if your are on a budget trip. Worth the price.

Very convenient, close to Victoria Market. Walkable to South cross station. Many shops nearby, 7/11 just down the street. There’s a Sarawak and Indonesia restaurant nearby within walking distance. Room was neat, but without any much necessities like toothbrush comb etc. Friendly staffs.. quiet place.

Es liegt im Stadtzentrum. Wenn Sie zum ersten Mal einchecken, gibt es auf der linken Seite viele Einkaufszentren zum Essen und Einkaufen, auf der rechten Seite jedoch relativ wenige. Wenn Sie alleine sind, nehmen Sie den Skybus-Doppeldeckerbus für 22 australische Dollar in die Innenstadt, kaufen Sie ihn am Bahnhof mit Ihrer Kreditkarte und er fährt ohne Zwischenstopp direkt in die Innenstadt. Steigen Sie aus und nehmen Sie die Straßenbahn vom Bahnsteig direkt gegenüber der Straße für zwei Haltestellen, drehen Sie dann an der Kreuzung um und steigen Sie auf der anderen Straße in die Straßenbahn um, nehmen Sie die Straßenbahn für eine Haltestelle, steigen Sie bei Baidu Map Navigation aus und gehen Sie ein kleines Stück . Achten Sie in Australien darauf, auf der linken Seite zu fahren, und fahren Sie nicht auf der gegenüberliegenden Seite. Die Straßenbahnen sind in dieser Gegend kostenlos, Sie können also einsteigen, solange sie an diesem Bahnsteig halten. Straßenbahnfreie Flächenkarte hellblauer rechteckiger Bereich. Die Rückfahrt zum Flughafen auf dem gleichen Weg kostet mehr als 23 australische Dollar. Dies ist die schnellste und wirtschaftlichste Variante. Wenn Sie damit vertraut sind, können Sie Ihr Ziel in 40 Minuten erreichen. Ein Taxi zum Hotel kostet mehr als 70 australische Dollar, und ein Uber kostet fast 50 australische Dollar mehr. Da in der Nähe seit gestern Straßenbauarbeiten stattfinden, müssen wir einen Umweg in Kauf nehmen, um in das Geschäftsviertel zu gelangen. Obwohl das Zimmer etwas klein ist, ist es nicht mit den aktuellen inländischen Zimmern zu vergleichen. Ich weiß nicht, ob es modernisiert wurde.

Overall, very satisfied with the stay. The room I got was pretty spacious. There was CCTV on the room floor and hotel guests can only access the level that they stay. The hotel is also within walking distance/free tram ride from many tourist sights. Would have been better if they have a drinking water refill station.

Before I went to Melbourne, I had had the negative experience of Mercure in Thailand and I didn't want to choose it, to be honest, but I didn't have any choice because the price and location were better than other places. Wow. I was surprise because everything was unexpected I can say thanks to the hotel 1.The location is good and it is located in the CBD. Convenient transportation, lots of Asian restaurants, supermarkets and convenient stores. It is not far from the place I had to work. 2.The staff are great and helpful with service mind. Yes, I found a Thai girl staff who is really nice. We received the good service. Even though, the policy is they clean the room 1 in 3 days, but I was ok because we had to save the world. 3.The size of the room is small and the size of the beds were small too but enough for sleeping well and everything in the room was clean and function well. 4.No water bottles. I understood that we had to drink water from the tab. I was used to it because I knew it well, but my boss was not used to it and couldn't accept this. Please make the remark in the booking or put a paper in the room so that some people can prepare themselves for this culture. However, thanks for the milk in the fridge. Just positive experiences with this hotel this time. Thanks to you all

Das Vic Hotel liegt im CBD und ist nur wenige Gehminuten von der City Circle Tram entfernt, einem kostenlosen öffentlichen Nahverkehrssystem in Melbourne, mit dem Sie viele Sehenswürdigkeiten der Stadt erreichen können. Das Hotel ist außerdem nur 3 Gehminuten vom Regent Theatre, Chinatown und den Einkaufsvierteln entfernt. Ich kann es jedem wärmstens empfehlen, der zum ersten Mal nach Melbourne kommt, egal ob Alleinreisender oder Familien …

Nur eine Nacht geblieben, um in ganz und groß für das zu arbeiten. Das Apartment war geräumig und hatte alles, was Sie brauchen, aber es hatte eine merkwürdige Layout . Eine Kaffeestation in der Nähe der Küche, aber in der Lounge schauen dann ein seltsamer Desk, der als eine Kette und ein Kabinett näher an der Lounge verwendet wurde auch . riesige Menge von Kette und Pans, aber nicht Ionenmesser. Nur nit aus der Perspektive, wenn Patrone. Tga Stret ist auf der Lage ist erstaunlich. Die Kirche im Gegenteil ist besondere. In der Tat war jedes Gebäude alt und architektonisch schön.. toller Ort, im Herbst mit den Schüttelblättern für Wirkung zu bleiben.. Es war ruhig und schön, aber dekoekboring, töten, und seltsam laut. Ich mag eine Wärme und einladende Energie, wenn ich ein Hotel einreise war das nur da, um Ihnen twhsy u müssen abzuweichen von der Heimat für eine Nacht in einer 1 Schlafzimmer Wohnung in einer malerischen Straße in Absatzilda ....
