Charming, large room with a beautiful, grand bay window. Best room ive ever stayed in and a great value! The fireplace, large tub with jets, & a heated toilet seat (nicer than i thought one would be)... the most romantic room ive ever been in. Some of the tiles were cracked in the bathroom & caulked (a thing or two like that here & there)... kinda lends it more charm. Seems to be an older building.
Ive never been in a four diamond hotel before... if a neighboring hotel had the wine cellar & sommelier on staff to earn the fifth diamond - id stay here instead. Im loving this hotel!

I loved that the valet parking was free, which made it extremely easy to access the entry of the hotel. Just pull in front onto the circular drive! Matt and Paul were very kind and helpful with parking, assisting with luggage. Just in general they were very personable and friendly.
Aaron, the front desk associate, was also kind, friendly, and patient as he gave us check in instructions.

Christopher, our waiter in the dining room, was professional and friendly, but he knew when to give privacy and space.
The restaurant was quaint and had lovely offerings, but unfortunately, I felt the crab cake breading was too brown - almost had a burnt taste. That would have been my ONLY disappointment.
I highly recommend the Cliff House!!

A wonderful birthday experience staying at the Cliff House! We are particularly grateful for the upgrade to the Thomas Edison suite, which was extremely lovely. All of the staff very gracious.
(The only thing that needs to be upgraded is the breakfast, to match the quality of the hotel.)

Well priced couple getaway weekend, bar had great snacks, excellent service.
Breakfast was included when you book through them, reasonable if not.
Meagan was our dinner server, knowledgeable, fun and attentive. Help suggest all six dinners. our friends and we were impressed with incredible entrees, new desert menu hit the top of the wonderful scale. Will repeat often.
Rooms were well appointed, comfortable, great beds, linen, towels.
All staff from bellmen, front desk, servers and house keeping were gracious and friendly. A real gem of a find.

Super friendly staff and service, but terrible infrastructure. Granted we were there during a cold snap, but in two days we were moved to three different rooms, issues ranging from frozen pipes, leaks, power outages, fire alarms, etc. I wouldn’t stay here again for full price.
