Trotz der großen Auswahl bin ich immer noch äußerst sprachlos.
1. Der Abholservice vom Flughafen wird von mehreren Hotels angeboten, es gibt jedoch überhaupt keinen Service.
2. Die normale Anmeldegebühr wird bei Ihrer Ankunft im Hotel erhoben.
3. Es fühlte sich an, als würde der Kellner während des gesamten Vorgangs auf einem Trinkgeld bestehen. Als wir nur zu zweit mit einer kleinen Tasche waren, nahm er die kleine Tasche und schickte sie nach oben. Da das Gepäck später als wir ankam, schickten wir es nicht ohne Trinkgeld nach oben.
4. Ich habe die oben genannten Serviceprobleme ertragen. Ich war sprachlos, sobald ich das Zimmer betrat. Ich war mental auf das kleine Zimmer vorbereitet, aber nicht mental auf das schmutzige Badezimmer und den muffigen Geruch, der mir in die Stirn stieg.
5. Auf dem Bett liegen fremde Lebewesen. Zum Glück habe ich ein Bettzeug mitgebracht, um es zuzudecken. Eine Nacht kann ich kaum überleben.

Sauber und in der Nähe des Flughafens, aber wählen Sie das Balkonzimmer, wenn Sie länger als einen Tag bleiben, da nur 2 Zimmer auf jeder Etage einen Balkon und Meerblick haben.
Wenn Sie hier eine Nacht auf der Durchreise verbringen, macht das Standardzimmer keinen Unterschied.

The moment we walked through the doors we were treated wonderfully! The lobby was cool and smelled lovely, and we were immediately given cold towels and freshly squeezed pineapple juice. The staff on reception, Mohan and Arjun were extremely polite, and nothing was too much trouble. The room was very modern and very clean, the aircon had the room at the right temperature within minutes, and the bed was very comfortable. Whenever we went down to reception the staff were very polite and always helpful, giving us towels for the beach, and sorting our airport transfer. We also ate dinner in the restaurant, which was delicious, very reasonable and had a fantastic choice, and again, the staff were fantastic. Breakfast was equally as good, with lots of choice and freshly made eggs of any sort available on request, we can highly recommend the omelette! They even provided us with a lovely packed breakfast when we were leaving as we had to check out before breakfast started. I really can’t fault this hotel, and would definitely go back and recommend it to anyone.

The Ocean Grand is a great place to stay for the price. My wife and I stayed for one night. The staff is incredible. They went out of their way to ensure my wife and I had a comfortable stay. They gave us an early check in and a late check out to better accommodate our travel schedule. Whatever we needed they were available within seconds to assist us.
The hotel is right across the street from the beach. The beach is a bit rocky, but there is a section that’s good for swimming. You can also rent water sports equipment at the beach, though it’s not a part of the hotel’s accommodations.
The breakfast buffet is very nice. They had a wide variety of local, western, and Asian foods to choose from. The fruit was fresh, and the dining room was clean.
Hulumale is fairly busy compared to the surrounding islands. You can walk around and get a glimpse at how local Maldivian people live. This hotel is a great value with excellent service. If I ever go back to the Maldives, I will definitely stay at the Hotel Ocean Grand again!

Very clean and super friendly/helpful staff. Ideal hotel for a one night stop off before heading the atoll resorts.
The area in Hulhumale is still being built so it’s not very picturesque at all to be honest.
