Hotellet hade bra läge för att kunna ta sig med tunnelbanan till dem sevärdheterna som vi hade inplanerat för våran resa.
Om man flög t/r ifrån Standsted flygplats så kunde man på enkelt vis hoppa av på Liverpool station och ta sig vidare till St Paul's hållplats och
sedan vidare därifrån bort till hotellet till fots.
Rummet i sig så får man det man betalade för.
Dvs någonstans att sova men passade oss ändå bra då vi inte hade planer på att sitta på rummet hela dagarna.
Då St Paul's katedralen ligger nära så är öronproppar ett måste för den som är känslig för ljud då klockorna klämtar. Hotellet erbjuder gratis öronproppar men om man behöver en mer passande storlek för sina öron så ta med egna.
Ett annat tips är att ha med sig ett hänglås som man vill förvara sina tillhörigheter inlåsta i dem förvaringsutrymme som finns på rummen.
Frukosten som erbjöds var som en typisk Engelsk frukost med bönor, bacon,hashbrown, bacon, korv, ägg, croissanter och vegetariska korvar.
Det blev väl lite små tråkig för tex mig som behöver glutenfritt och laktosfritt (fick höra när jag frågade om dessa alternativ att det skulle finnas till frukost i receptionen när vi checkade in.) så kunde dessvärre
endast äta mig lite smått mätt på glutenfritt bröd.
Dock så erbjöd receptionen sig att lösa problematiken tills dagen därpå men jag valde att ordna med min frukost på annat vis under den resterande delen utav resan för att göra det enkelt.
Super trevlig personal och kan tänka mig att bo här igen! 😄

Ich habe im Laufe der Jahre in vielen YHAs übernachtet und dieses war nicht eines der besten. Es sind Außenarbeiten im Gange und ich frage mich, ob die Innenräume modernisiert werden, da sie etwas schäbig aussehen. Die Dusche, die unserem Zimmer am nächsten war, funktionierte nicht richtig. Ich checkte sehr spät in der Nacht ein und wollte einfach nur ins Bett, und aus irgendeinem Grund dauerte der Check-in-Prozess viel länger als nötig

On the plus side, the breakfast was filling and the location (for St Paul's) excellent. On the down sides, it has no members kitchen. Not even a kettle or microwave. After a days sightseeing, staff told us that they did not serve evening food (contrary to their own website). Only large groups get that offer. The hostel is incredibly noisy. Earplugs are essential. St Paul's bells are tolerable. The pubs nearby are loud. The rubbish is collected throughout the night. I think someone was cleaning the showers, gone 1am. The hostel feels tired and worn. Fitments in the bathrooms are broken. Windows I'll fitting. I've been to many hostels over the last 20 years. I've seen a lot better.

Excellent hostile but I was surprised to find that there was no fridge or microwave for the guests. Bonus having a sink in the room. Loved the breakfast buffet option tho. Convenient location, close to many restaurants, tourist sights, and shops. Staff are super friendly and helpful. Allowed us to check in early since room was ready. Was a bit pricier than most hostiles but would definitely go back. Only thing we did not like was that no one kept the noisy guests in line. Our room was between rooms with young, foreign girls who seemed to be drunk and were extremely loud (laughing/screaming, slamming doors, running in halls) very late at night. Had absolutely no regard for other guests. They truly acted like children

Found out the charger won’t work in my room on my checkin day. I spoke to the receptionist, and raised my insecurity about her suggestion to plug in one of the wall chargers which is further away from me. Then, we came up either an extendable charger or change of room. She was being super helpful, and I settled with change of room as the charger works. The room is decent for the price. There are common areas for you to sit, and it is a good space for you to do some works. Location is very good since it is right in the center. Security seems quite good cause the main door and your room, both require the issued key card to access. - I want to highlight the shower because the shower head is flexible and the water temperature is adjustable, and I was happy about that. But, the space is small. - Bed sheet & duvet cover look fresh and clean, the mattress is comfy, and duvet doesn’t seem too clean. It is pity that WIFI signal doesn’t cover the room but the common areas only.

What a sweet place. My private room was perfect for budget accommodation and the building used to be choirboy rooms for the cathedral/school. The staff are really great. They seem happy and like a real team. They are warm and genuine and not over the top. Thank you to Wilder and Samuel for carrying my luggage. I had a heavy suitcase as I’m about to go abroad for 3 months and I was in the top bedroom and there is no lift (being a listed building). I wanted to leave a tip but was told I couldn’t do this on my card and had no cash I’m sorry. Late check out cost me £5 and was a lifesaver when I got in at 4am from a night out. St Paul’s and nearby Farringdon are a wonderful area of London. Also on Elizabeth Line so great for seeing London pre and post flying from Heathrow. Renting a towel and buying shower gel; snacks and water late at night was all fine. Hotel was clean, enjoyable, had character and was super quiet when I stayed on a Friday night. Thank you it was brilliant

Not bad for a youth hostel. I booked a two-bed private room for my friend and myself to split. It was comfortable enough, and it was nice having a wash sink in the room so that we didn't need to go to the shared toilets every time we needed a sink.
The beds had built-in power outlets, however they didn't really work well. We ended up using the wall outlets to charge our electronics. We were also right next to the showers but one of them was out of order. The toilets were at the end of the hall but one of them was out of order as well, so I ended up needing to wait for one to become available a couple times.
It wasn't too noisy considering we were facing a busy street and some people complain about the bells coming from St. Paul's being distracting as they ring essentially every 15 minutes, but I got used to it pretty quickly and was able to sleep just fine.
Wifi is only available in the shared spaces and not the rooms, so that might be difficult for people who rely on wifi connection.
We didn't take advantage of their breakfast offerings, though they seem to have a nice variety of hot and cold food to choose from. They even seemed to have a couple vegan items that I could have eaten, but I wasn't going to pay nearly £10 just to only eat like two items.
Check in and check out were easy.
