Please read to the end because the end of my post is why everyone should stay here. I dont think it is possible for us to have had a better experience than we had at Hotel St. Hildegard. We stayed three nights in late May 2023. Originally, we had rented a house closer to Omis, but when we had a bad experience we made a last minute booking here. The gentleman at the front desk was very kind and gave us a tour of the hotel as we waited for them to set our room up for 4 (2 adults, 2 teenagers). The room was clean and very nice. We ate breakfast there three mornings and dinner twice. The food and service at the restaurant were top notch. The pool was clean and peaceful. The beach is nice and the water is beautiful. Everything about the hotel was great. The absolute best thing about our stay was how the staff went above and beyond to help us when we had a flat tire on the rental car. Our rental didn't have a spare tire and the rental car company provided the worst customer service ever. The maintenance man for the hotel, who happens to be a mechanic in town, removed the tire and determined it had a screw in it. The manager of the hotel, Mira (hope I recall her name correctly), then took the tire to a tire shop in Split and they patched the tire. ON A SUNDAY MORNING! Everything is closed in Croatia on a Sunday. We were able to proceed on a our trip as planned thanks to these very generous people. Thank you Hotel St. Hildegard. You all made our trip the best ever.
