B&B HOTEL Rouen Parc des Expos Zénith

住宿二天這間百無政策的酒店，無抹手巾、無煲水壺、無水杯供應，衣架只有二隻。第一天浴室有2條浴巾，二隻紙杯。第二天執拾房間後只放下一條浴巾，紙杯欠奉，向管理人拿取也没有。整間酒店只有一個人，接待處是他，早餐服務也是他一人。奉告欲入住這酒店者要三思才行動

Good choice for a cheap budget hotel. The bed wasn’t particularly comfortable but for a night was fine. Online checkin is available & it was useful to have our room number & code prior to arrival. The bathroom was clean & had a shower. Those with limited mobility may struggle with the shower as it’s a small bath style shower which is deep to step into. There are wall mounted toiletries provided. Towels are very small but again for one night adequate. The room was supposed to have air conditioning, however the fuse for this had been turned off, disappointing as it was 29 degrees whilst there. Another thing to take into account, which we’ve never come across at any of the other B&B hotels we’ve stayed at, is that unless you book breakfast 24 hours in advance you can’t eat at the hotel. There are plenty of others hotels / restaurants around the area there that you can get a breakfast so not an issue but just something to be aware of if you’re staying.

Bang average stop over hotel on our way back up to Calais. Served it’s purpose. Annoyingly told breakfast available from 6am when checking in at reception, so paid for the four of us - turned out that it was a bank holiday in France and wasn’t open when we needed to leave. Fair enough, we grabbed something during our onward journey - however when I emailed hotel to request a refund for breakfasts , it was refused. We stayed in family room at rear of hotel, small upstairs area for the kids to bed down. McDonald’s 5 min walk up the road, area pretty quiet.

Very small room, not clean. Airco wasn’t working. Shower was broken. Breakfast was very simple. Not recommended.

fine and a place to sleep just very basic. Couldn't get aircon working. nice shower. toilet didn't flush. good and easy communication beforehand and security guard around on arrival which was helpful and reassuring. Parking easy and free.

Very good stop over in a convenient location when travelling from Calais to the Vendee. The room was good, the children like the mezzanine arrangement and there is enough space for 4 if you aren't spending much time in the room. The breakfast was tasty, fresh and excellent value. The breakfast area is quite small and there were queues once it got busy, but staff were very helpful and friendly, refilling items promptky when they ran out and emptying the coffee machine drip tray etc. My only worry in advance was getting hold of an automated code to check in after hours. I could not get through to the hotel by phone, and bo over was supplied when I booked. I had to ask ********** to email the hotel to get the code. But the hotel replied quickly with the code and entry was no problem on arrival. If you are travelling with children I recommend you don't book breakfast via ********** because they seemed to be charging full adult price for all travellers. If you pay at the hotel it is €8.50 for adults and €4 for kids aged 10 and under.

Dirty towels on floor. Coke can with cigarette. Ash on bed.

As a result of delays at the Eurotunnel, we didn't arrive at the hotel until 4:30am and upon accessing our assigned room (number 23), we were hit by a very strong smell of dampness. We realised after using the toilet, that this was the source of the issue as once it was flushed it flooded the bathroom. We used the towels provided to mop this up and given how late we had arrived, we proceeded to get some sleep intending to raise the issue with hotel staff the following morning. When we did raise it, the receptionist didn't seem at all surprised, but told us we should have contacted them at 4:30am. We asked how and were told there was a telephone number in the room. After breakfast, we went back the room to brush teeth, etc and the flood from the bathroom reached the main bedroom (almost to the front door!). We had a look around for the contact number we were told was in the room and couldn't find it anywhere so we went back down to discuss with hotel staff - to be told there was nothing they could do as the manager wouldn't be back until Monday! Staff were completely unsympathetic and really couldn't care less about their guests. In the company's defence, I must say that luckily this isn't the experience we have had over the last 2 years at other B&B Hotels and have since stayed in one at Bordeaux and Toulouse and those stays were brilliant, with great customer service. I don't expect anything more than the basics when choosing this hotel chain, but I do expect the bathroom to be in working order and that if there is such a significant issue as ours, for staff to act appropriately to address it. We will be avoiding the Rouen Parc des Expos Zenith from now on and would encourage everyone else to!

Even if it was a smoke free room, there was a strong odor of smoke. Another client complained as well.
