Zunächst sollte man erwähnen, dass wir in der Haupt- Hochsaison gebucht hatten. Dementsprechend war es sehr gut besucht. Die Zimmer waren ruhig und ansprechend, die Reinigungskräfte haben jeden Tag unser Zimmer gereinigt und aufgeräumt. Ganz wunderbar! Wir haben gut geschlafen, Nachts war es ruhig, auch dank Klimaanlage konnte man sehr gut nächtigen. Leider war es uns während unseres Urlaubs nur 1 Mal möglich am Pool zu liegen. Aus gesundheitlichen Gründen suchte ich vergebens nach einem Schattenplatz, da bereits Morgens und vor dem Frühstück, alle Sonnenschirme und Liegen durch Handtücher „reserviert“ wurden. Sehr ärgerlich. Die Auswahl an Speisen zum Frühstück, Mittag und Abendessen war sehr groß. Frisches Obst, Salate, Fischspezialitäten und Fleisch. Unangenehm waren die klebrigen Tische und Stühle. Auf Gläser, Tassen und Teller, waren noch Rückstände und Dreck zu erkennen. Die Dinner Show war super, die Themen Restaurants in Ordnung. Der Café Store und Auswahl an Kaffeespezialitäten ganz wunderbar. Unser abendliches Highlight war die Piano Bar. Leckere Cocktails, gute Unterhaltung und kühle Getränke. Alternativ gibt es die Beefeater Bar, die wir aufgrund des modrigen Genruchs gemieden haben. Der Service wirkte stellenweise etwas überfordert, allerdings immer sehr freundlich. Es ist eben etwas Geduld gefragt, was für uns aber in Ordnung war. Wer gerne in Gesellschaft ist und kein Problem mit zeitlichen Einschränkungen hat, kann hier einen schönen Urlaub verbringen. Zu erwähnen ist noch, dass hier auch für Familien und Kinder viel geboten wird. Tolles Rahmenprogramm.

Exceeded our expectations. The bungalow was bigger than we expected, clean, comfortable and well equipped. We really appreciated the surrounding gardens and private patio area. Through our 9 days stay the bungalow was cleaned at least 7 times, and the towels changed each time. The pool area was well equipped with plenty of sun loungers - we didn't try the pool for temperature. Facilities at the Bar Arena and the small supermarket were much appreciated. Some people have commented on the location being away from the town - we were aware of this and this was one of the reasons we booked it ! We enjoyed the 1/2 hour walk into the centre and to the lighthouse, and there are always regular buses. Would definitely recommend if you are happy to be more independent and are looking for a quieter area.

Wir buchten das Hotel (zu spät am Tag) als Teil eines Inntravel-Pakets - und lesen Sie nur dann einige der negativen Bewertungen hier. Unsere Erfahrung mit dem Hotel führte uns zu einem entgegengesetzten Schluss. Die Lage am Rande der kleinen Stadt Yaiza ist nicht entfernt, sondern ruhig und ruhig, und nur eine relativ kurze Fahrt zu den südlichsten Stränden und Resorts, gebratener Küstenpfad oder in andere Richtungen, der erstaunliche Timanfaya Nationalpark. Einige andere Zimmer schien etwas reichhaltiger, aber die, die wir hatten, war mehr als ausreichend für unsere Bedürfnisse, und erfüllte die Erwartungen Frühstück, serviert im Hof, war gesund, mit einer breiten und reichhaltigen Auswahl von frischem Obst, Getreide, Joghurt, Ham, Salami, Käse und Brot usw. Das Frühstückspersonal, das sehr hart gearbeitet hat, war fantastisch, charmant und unendlich geduldig. Die Abendessen im Restaurant (die nicht vom Hotel geführt wird, soweit wir die Situation verstanden haben) war eine entspannte, sehr leckere und freundliche Erfahrung. Die Leitung war da, um zu helfen und zu beraten, und wir fühlten keine negativen Vibrationen. Wir hatten eine sehr entspannende Zeit im Hotel und wünschen es und seine charmanten Mitarbeiter gut für die Zukunft.

Was für einen schönen Ort zu bleiben. Bit 80er Unterkünfte. Aber was Sie brauchen, gute Dusche/Badewanne. Kocheinrichtungen, TV-Sofatisch und Stühle. Schöne Vorder- und Hintersitzbereiche. Zimmer sauber 5 von 7 Tagen. Meist Erwachsene als keine Unterhaltung. Freundlich hilfreiches Personal. Ich reiste allein, so war ich froh über die Hilfe, die sie mir geben. Buchung bald wieder zu gehen.

We spent two weeks at Casa de Hilario in Feb/March. The house is a traditional rural house outside the village of Yaiza in the centre of Lanzarote. Our bedroom was large and comfortable with views to the village and one of the many small volcanic peaks. Breakfasts were buffet style and self service, with tables indoors and outdoors on the large garden terrace. The food was fresh and the service from Lucia was excellent. The house was unstaffed in the afternoons and evenings and there was no bar or coffee facilities, which we missed. The guests all learned to stock up on snacks and drinks in the local supermarket. There is a good, traditional restaurant (Bodega de Santiago) next door for those who don't want to travel too far to eat, though our favourite restaurant was the nearby, sister property Casona de Yaiza which was excellent (we ate there four times). A good base for travelling around the island and will suit those who seek peace and tranquility in a lovely village. Not so good for those seeking a lively nightlife.

We've had 2 wonderful stays at Las Brisas with RCI exchanges. This time, with no RCI exchange available we went as paying guests. Sadly, our experience this time was a disappointment. We love the location close to Playa Blanca centre. We also really like the bar and restaurant. We were very unhappy with our accomodation. We booked 7 days in a 1 bedroom villa followed by 5 days in a 2 bedroom villa. We were allocated villa number 2 for the first week on the corner between the main highway and bus station. Very noisy with constant smells of truck and bus fumes. We asked at reception for something further away from the road but nothing was available. So our hope of a quiet week eating and relaxing on our terrace didn't happen. On changeover day we were told to wait in villa 2, until our new villa was ready to move into. We went to reception twice during the morning to check on progress and were told that we would receive a phone call when it was time to move. I assumed that this would be on my mobile because there was no telephone in the villa. Sadly I was wrong and the receptionist apparently rang several times to a non existent phone in the villa. Strange that no-one thought to check why we were not picking up the phone, especially when we'd been to reception twice to check on progress. Eventually, the cleaner handed me her phone because she'd asked the housekeeper why we were still in the villa, so the housekeeper told me villa 21 was ready. We went to reception for keys and it was implied that we were at fault for not answering the phone which didn't exist. So we moved to villa 21. Great location, well away from the road and bus station. Villa 21 was not ready. Beds were not changed, kitchen was not cleaned, cleaning rags and bags of laundry (not sure if clean or dirty) were left in the living room area. So, another trip to reception! The cleaner did return a short while later to finish. Later we opened the fridge. When we did so we were confronted with a disgusting smell of rotting fish. Should have been another trip to reception but instead we decided to do the cleaner's job and throughly clean the fridge. We also bought some lemons in an attempt to improve the smell. None of this worked, so off to reception for another chat. A few hours later, someone came in, fiddled about behind the fridge, sprayed some liquid behind the fridge, and left. That didn't work, so another trip to reception. Late in the following afternoon two people came in, fiddled about behind the fridge, sprayed some liquid behind the fridge and left. About one hour later two more people came in and did the same thing. None of it worked, the smell was still awful every time we opened the firdge. Strange that so many people could repeat the same mistake and hope for a different result. By now it was our last full day in resort. Ich habe es geliebt, hier zu übernachten, das erste Hotel, das ich gebucht habe, und es war so schön, wie freundlich und serviceorientiert die Rezeption uns war. Der Blick auf das Meer war unglaublich. Unser Zimmer war hervorragend. Die Unterhaltung war großartig! Wir konnten nicht anders, als auf die Tanzfläche zu gehen! Ich würde sagen, das einzige Problem waren die Fliegen, die überall waren, als wir draußen waren, aber der Barkeeper ließ uns wissen, dass es nur das Timing war.
