Sehr gutes Hotel.. Zimmer sind gut und geräumig. Kaaba-Ansicht ist hervorragend vom Hotel. Das Frühstück war absolut fantastisch. Gute Verbreitung mit vielen Optionen. Wir waren mit so viel Pflege bedient und vor allem Herr Ashraf war sehr hilfreich und gab uns das zusätzliche Meilenstein und kümmerte sich um uns selbst die Minuten Details, besonders für meine Mutter. Das nennt man Gastfreundschaft. Meine Rating *****. Man muss versuchen, Menschen wie Ashraf zwischen anderen Eigenschaften und diesem zu unterscheiden.

Ich kam um 10 Uhr zum Hotel und die Dame in der Rezeption sagte uns, zu gehen und die Omra zu machen und zurück zu den Zimmern zu kommen, ich bin ein Gold Fairmont-Mitglied, das schlecht behandelt wurde. Wir kamen um 2:30 Uhr zurück und bemerkten, dass die Zimmer nicht bereit sind und es wurde gesagt, dass die Zeitkontrolle ist 4PM, aber vor einem Tag der Ankunft haben sie mich gerufen, mich zu fragen, wann ich das Zimmer bereit sein möchte. Jeder Kundenrezeptor richtete mich an einen anderen, wo dies überhaupt nicht praktisch war, Bild ich über 12 Stunden wach und am Ende des Tages jeden auf mich nur werfen. Nachdem wir einen Kampf hatten, haben wir endlich die Zimmer, ich erinnere mich, dass eines der Zimmer voller Insekten ist und das andere Zimmer von den Nachbarn geräuschig ist. Als ich nach mehreren Kämpfen die Rezeption sagen wollte, dass sie beide Zimmer verändert haben, mussten wir mehr als 15 Minuten für die Treppe warten. Meine Erfahrung mit diesem Hotel ist wirklich baaaaaaad und würde es niemandem empfehlen. Der einzige positive Punkt war, dass es nur wenige Schritte nach dem Haram ist, außer dass nichts es wert ist, auch wenn Sie mit jemandem vom Empfanger sprechen sie nicht antworten, als ob sie nicht hören und in meinem Fall bin ich ein Goldmitglied plus Reiseberater Ebene 6, wie wäre ich ein normales Gast was passieren würde. It is my first time to have a short stay in this hotel. It was a very good experience from the start of my journey at the reception desk with Mr. “saif” and his warm welcome and continuous smile, through the wide, clean room with its new furniture and many facilities, the good service of the house keeper “Samy”, passing by the most decent, supportive, and helpful restaurant manager; Mr. “Taher”; and his professional team, and ending at the reception desk again with the warm “see you again” from Mr. Abd AlRahman. From my point of view, except for the fact that the hotel is far from “Haram”, it is one of the best hotels in Makkah.

Very personalized service by Mr Bunbun in Al Firdaous restaurants. What a wonderful warm friendly man who made sure we had excellent experience. Thanks God I always get hotel in Movenpick with facilities are very good and comfortable. We had an exceptional breakfast and lunch in Movenpick Restaurants. The staff in Restaurants friendly, good hospitality and most welcome. Well done to MOVENPICK MAKKAH TEAM.

Die tolle Lage ist das beste Verkaufsargument für dieses Hotel. Das Zimmer ist etwas veraltet, erwarten Sie keinen freundlichen Empfang an der Rezeption. Sie machen nur ihre Routine und empfangen Sie nicht herzlich. Vor allem die Dame namens Noura oder so. Werde das nächste Mal ein anderes Courtyard Hotel ausprobieren.

We stayed at the Jumeirah for our Umrah trip. Our room was fantastic but we were so appalled by the dining service and quality of food. At breakfast, the service is terrible. The staff are unfriendly and unhelpful and the people behind the live food stations need to smile like the gentleman on the egg station. I asked 5 times for a karak chai from the start of entering the breakfast until the end; I was there for 1.5 hours and every single person I asked was unable to get me the karak. They kept ignoring and disappearing. In the end I had to remind the waiters how long I had been waiting only to be told it had run out. I was waiting for a very long time just to be told this! In the end someone did get me the karak but it was so hard to just ask for something so simple. Also every day at breakfast the tables are not set out with the cuttlery and napkins missing. Every time I ask someone for some cutlery as there isn’t any on the table and it doesn’t get replaced but again we are always ignored and have many times helped ourselves to cutlery from other tables or the station where staff store the cutlery. We got very tired of the service here and it definitely doesn’t live up to the standards of other 5 star hotels (except the hotel and room itself). The staff are very unhelpful and the kitchen staff are awful. Having come from a hospitality background, there needs to be more structure in your kitchen and managers need to stop prioritising specific tables. All guests should be treated the same. We came to the buffet dinner and we’re looking forward to a lovely meal however the food was absolutely awful quality. The lamb shoulder was so over cooked and dry. We have never tasted anything quite like it. I have attached a picture to show the quality. It was inedible. There were literally no staff at any of the service stations. We wanted some of the grilled meat and chicken and we had searched for someone to serve it to us and he took one handful of it and put it on our plates. That is not an adequate protein portion. The portion was enough to fit a tablespoon of meat. The options were so poor. Again, no table service and no napkins and cutlery. We had to keep asking for things that should have been there. We didn’t even have water bottles and the table next to us had 5 water bottles for 2 people. We were really looking forward to the dinner but it was the worst buffet we have been to for a five star hotel. Nothing was fresh and the dessert selection was terrible too. Definitely nothing 5 star about it. The pastry was old and stale and very sweet without any flavour. It’s such a shame at such a high price which does not reflect any quality at all. We were so disappointed with the stay. We were hoping to return later this year with our family but we will have to find another hotel as this is hotel is not at the standard to bring our family to. Your location, decor, room size are amazing but your customer service and quality of food really lets you down. It is such a shame as we were really looking forward to staying here again. We had a great stay in Adress Jabal Omar! We will be back soon, in sha Allah. The staff is very polite and helpful. Especially Roaa from the restaurant (standing at the reception). Such a sweet girl! They also think about people with special needs. Although there is a bus bringing you to the Haram, they also offer a taxi with a elevator for wheelchairs. There was a minus: we had a stay of 5 nights and 6 days, the breakfast was everyday for 90% the same. Which is a big no for a 5 star hotel.

Die Lage ist NICHT ideal für Pilger. Obwohl ein Shuttle zur Großen Moschee angeboten wird, wurde auf den Buchungsseiten nicht darüber informiert, dass die Gäste ZWEI Busse nehmen müssen, um zur Großen Moschee zu gelangen. Gäste müssen also die Shuttle-Zeiten und die verrückte Menschenmenge berücksichtigen, die am Busbahnhof Jamarat wartet (diese Menge umfasst auch Nicht-Hotelgäste). Aufgrund der Lage war es auch sehr schwierig, Uber zu bekommen, und ich habe meinen Zug verpasst!! Taxis sind teuer! Das Zimmer war schön. Das Bett super bequem – das bequemste, in dem ich je geschlafen habe. Aber es wurde kein Kaffee bereitgestellt. Nur Tee.

This was a good hotel, generally clean with good facilities. It is around 1km from the Haram (Kaaba). There is a free bus shuttle service which runs every 10-15 minutes to & from the Haram, which drops around 600m from the Haram. Be sure to leave early from the Hotel to reach for the prayers on time. The room was clean as well as the toilet. Hotel staff was generally friendly. There are two restaurants on levels R & H, as well as prayer room at floor PR if someone needs it.
