GGayatri GallowayBang in the heart of not just the charming old centre but right on the block where the street partying takes place till the early mornings of the weekends. But no noise pollution due to the small boutique hotel being on the (very high!) fourth floor of the old building that has its entrance in the courtyard off the street.
We traveled with our two sons (17 and 10) and it worked but wouldn’t stay with our younger daughters there due to the unconventionality of the accommodation:
No public areas or services, just straight up rooms (only six of them all in the one corridor off the reception) which are fitted in modern and marbled design.
Room no 3 is spacious with a nice four poster bed, no 1 is less so but both still had room for a bidet in the all tiled bathrooms which has an LED light feature in the shower! Both also have a French balcony: from room 3 you can view the Vesuvius Mountain. Theres a price listed minibar and my husband really liked the mattress
Reception is not 24h but communication was very good and personal through WhatsApp.
I was looking forward to the roof terrace but it was bare and unused serving merely as a panorama lookout point. Not to worry, the most important thing for us was that the hotel was clean and had some form of luxury for the night we stayed in Napoli!

RRip RipWe booked feeling a little nervous as we read the various reviews but also hesitated with little experience of a B&B Guest house.
There seemed very few choices in Naples ( Chiaia district) a prime , safer area ; to have a suite with some kitchenette and a very reasonable price.
We were warmly welcomed to our studio suite, spacious , well organised with a lot of thought in the location of design of fixtures and furniture; seating to take breakfast, working desk and or relax on the sofa.
Brightly lit room with big “can open” sound proof windows or option to use the air conditioning system . Views of the nearby residential apar**ents actually helped us feel at home ( even though we were not able to enjoy the Naples sea view)
Bed, mattress , linen and pillows were fine ( for those who require more specific finer finishes should not go to a Guest house)
Bathroom was practical and had all that one needed, with hand held shower and rain shower installed.
Kitchenette had electric stove , coffee maker, kettle , Fridge and utensils. Again sufficient for a 4 night stay.
Any longer an oven or toaster would have been nice to heat up bread.
The highlight worth mentioning, as most reviews have , is Massimo who helped us with recommendations, guided us with a local map, booked day tour to Pompeii, our taxi and so much more..
Honestly, for those of us who have been lucky to stay in 5 star hotels will know that you don’t always get this type of discreet professional reliable hospitality that Massimo has shown us.
If you don’t mind staying at a guest house which may sound daunting , or that the entrance of the building may be slightly off the side street but having read this review will reassure you that the 24 hours security guards and the gated premises made it feel like a home away from home.

After confirming the booking and arriving are the area the owner disappears for hours, doesn’t answer texts or phone calls and doesn’t leave anybody in the property to check us in we had to plead with locals to help us get the owners phone number. In addition, when we checked us we had to deal with non English speakers (how do you rent properties internationally without being able to communicate?) and also demanded tax payment in cash even though they carried no change so we ended up paying more than needed. Property itself very nice and clean but I recommend to stay away.

Что не понравилось: квест с заселением ( в принципе, всё понятно объяснено, какое кнопки, но нужно пройти 3 закрытых дверей). Расположение кондиционера под окном и за шторкой)). Слышимость от соседнего номера, а именно из туалета ( будто бы у тебя в комнате). И главное - ни утром, ни вечером не было горячей воды, только днём.
Поехал бы я снова в этот отель, думаю нет

TTravel_with_soo_yanIch bin beeindruckt von der Sauberkeit dieses Hostels, das viel sauberer und hübscher ist als andere Hostels, in denen ich vorher übernachtet habe. Das Zimmer hat sogar ein eigenes Badezimmer und überraschenderweise auch einen kleinen Balkon, sehr ordentlich und schön dekoriert! Ich bin auch überrascht, dass es eine Gemeinschaftsküche gibt (die auch sehr sauber und gut geführt ist), in der das Frühstück serviert wird! Es war wirklich eine tolle Erfahrung, hier zu übernachten und tolle Leute aus der ganzen Welt kennenzulernen!

GGuest UserIch hatte einen kurzen Übernachtungsurlaub, so dass die Lage ideal ist ca. 400m zu Fuß vom Hauptbahnhof. Obwohl es sich bei einer guten Lage nicht um eine gute Gegend am Abend handelt, gibt es viele Obdachlose, aber es gibt auch einige schöne Restaurants am Garabaldi Platz und gute Kaffeegeschäfte in der Nähe für Gewürze und Kaffee für Frühstück. Das Hotelrezeption befindet sich im 2. Stock des Gebäudes, große Treppe und wie andere sagen, keine Aufzug. Nicht gut für ältere Menschen oder wenn Sie große Gepäck tragen müssen. Der Checkin war gut, der Mann erklärte die Basis und führte mich in mein Zimmer. Die Sauberkeit war perfekt, so sauber, viele frische weiße Handtücher, und das Badezimmer war spotless, kein Problem da. Er gab mir auch die Fernbedienung für die Klimaanlage und das auch wirklich gut funktionierte, so dass Sie gut schlafen konnten. Das Bett war gut, schien auch sauber, wie jemand sagte Quirky Dekoration. Und überraschend ruhig. Also, wenn Sie nicht nach einem fantastischen Hotelzimmer ist es gut. Nur Basis-Flüssigsap-Amenity geliefert. Die Fronttür ist um 8 Uhr geschlossen, und die Hotelzimmer haben Zugang, sie geben Ihnen einen Schlüssel zum Zugang, so es scheint ziemlich sicher, schließen früh in diesem Bereich ist wahrscheinlich eine gute Sache . Einfach zu Fuß in die Altstadt und alle Sehenswürdigkeiten.
