I recently stayed at your hotel and unfortunately left feeling quite disappointed with several aspects of my stay. Upon arrival, I noticed what appeared to be blood stains on the curtains, hair left on the towel/flannel in the bathroom, and marks on the table surfaces. I have attached photographs for reference, as I feel these are basic housekeeping standards that should have been checked prior to a guest arriving. I also experienced multiple issues with food and service during my stay. I ordered a charcuterie board, however the Parma ham and other cured meats appeared dried out, discoloured and no longer fresh. Unfortunately, after eating it, I also felt unwell afterwards, which was particularly concerning. Later, when ordering dinner, I asked for a croque monsieur but the staff member repeatedly did not understand the order, despite me explaining it was a toasted ham and cheese sandwich. I was eventually advised to order a panini instead. Additionally, I ordered truffle fries but was informed they were unavailable. I agreed to normal fries, however what arrived were heavily seasoned thick-cut chips which were completely different from what I expected and unfortunately not enjoyable. Another issue was the iron provided in the room, which had black residue/staining on it and ended up marking my top, which was very frustrating. As I had booked the stay primarily to relax and enjoy a quiet evening in the room with room service, it was disappointing that the overall experience did not feel comfortable or enjoyable. What disappointed me further was that upon check-out, nobody asked how my stay was or whether everything had been satisfactory, despite the multiple issues experienced throughout my visit. Birmingham Premier Inn (New Street Station) is located above the Birmingham New Street Station, next to the McDonalds. It might be a bit confusing to locate the hotel when you reached the station. After you exited from the gantry at the Birmingham New Street station, you will be able to see escalators located in front of the Tickets station. Go up the escalator and you will see a lot of shops e.g. Jo Malone, Tesco Express and restaurants such as Pho, Mrs Chew Kitchen. Once you are at the 2nd level (New Street Station), locate the Jo Malone shop. When you are outside the Jo Malone shop, you shall be able to se a clothes boutique known as Fat Face. Walk towards Fat Face and on your left, you should be able to see a walkway leading outside. Walk towards the walkway and you shall see Mini Sou on your right side. Once you are outside of the building, you will see McDonald on your right. Premier Inn hotel's entrance is just next to McDonald's entrance. Location of Birmingham Premier Inn (New Street) is fantastic. Despite there were reviewers that there might be some beggars but they did not bother me when I was there. Taxis are a bit tricky and right outside the hotel, there are tram railways and that means that most of the times, cars will generally not be around that area. If you want to get a taxi, you will need to walk to the main street where the major deparmental stores are, e.g. BullRing Birmingham. I would stay at Premier Inn again if I am in Birmingham area.

Für ein Wochenendtrip ein völlig ausreichendes Hotel in guter Lage zum Zentrum und Bahnhof, alls fußläufig erreichbar.

Große Lage – ca. 5 –6 Gehminuten vom Bahnhof entfernt, und Chinatown ist direkt außerhalb des Hotels, so ist es sehr bequem für Essen und umherkommen. Das Zimmer war sehr geräumig, was schön war, da ich hier mit meinem Partner für eine Valentinstagsreise geblieben bin. Die Anlagen fühlen sich also etwas veraltet und der Wasserdruck und die Temperatur im Badezimmer waren nicht sehr stabil.

Really unsatisfied with the cleanliness of the room, there was a huge amount of dust anywhere that I was sneezing continuously. Also, the most disgusting thing were the bedsheets, stained with yellow spots! I asked for a new set of bedsheets and the reception gave them to me and I had to put them on, because there was no one of the cleaning team to do it. Very very very unsatisfied.

Ich bin hier einmal im Jahr, da es nicht weit vom NEC in Birmingham entfernt ist. Die Lage des Hotels ist perfekt, so nahe der Autobahn, aber es fühlt sich so ruhig und entspannt, wie Sie im Land sind. Das Hotel ist sehr gut ausgestattet, aber es ist sehr gut. Ich war in diesem Hotel viele Male im Laufe der Jahre und nur einmal den Schwimmbad, der die einzige Nebenanlage zu diesem Ort ist, benutzt. Ich würde nicht wieder als nicht die entspannende Hotelerfahrung, die ich erwartet hatte, wie sehr beschäftigt, nutzen. Die Zahlung der öffentlichen Ausgaben über die Hotelbewohner scheint vorrangig zu sein, und das Wechselzimmer war mit den verwendeten Handtüchern hoch auf dem Boden aufgetaucht. Die Mitarbeiter standen um, mit ihren Partnern zu lachen und mussten abbrechen, um zu fragen, wo man Handtücher bekommt, dann musste ein anderes Mitglied der Öffentlichkeit fragen, wie man die Lockeln öffnet. Ich würde dieses Hotel weiterhin verwenden, aber nicht riskieren den Schwimmbad wieder.

Ein sehr schönes Hotel in zentraler Lage von Birmingham. Vom Bahnhof fussläufig gut erreichbar. Sehr freundliches und aufmerksames Personal. Ein Pool wäre ideal, aber wir wussten natürlich vorher, dass keiner da ist Gerne kommen wir wieder.

Die Lage des Comfort Inn ist großartig, direkt neben dem Bahnhof Birmingham New Street und nur 3 Gehminuten von Birminghams Chinatown entfernt. Das Hotel ist also von zahlreichen Restaurants und Cafés umgeben. Der einzige Nachteil ist der Duschbereich, der Vorhang war kurz und beim Duschen spritzte das Wasser überall hin. Insgesamt würde ich das Comfort Inn aufgrund der hervorragenden Lage und des angemessenen Preises mit 4,0 bewerten.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4/5 Sterne – Top-Lage in Bahnhofsnähe! Ich hatte einen sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt im Britannia Hotel Birmingham New Street. Das Zimmer war geräumig, ordentlich und sehr sauber, sodass ich mich nach einem langen Tag in der Stadt sehr wohl und entspannt fühlen konnte. Die zentrale Lage des Hotels ist perfekt – nur wenige Gehminuten vom Bahnhof, Geschäften und Restaurants entfernt, was es sowohl für Urlaubs- als auch für Geschäftsreisen ideal macht. Das Personal war freundlich und zuvorkommend und immer hilfsbereit. Es war etwas laut, da mein Zimmer direkt an der Straße mit dem Weihnachtsmarkt liegt, aber das Zimmer war sehr gepflegt. Insgesamt war es ein tolles Erlebnis – ausgezeichnetes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis, saubere Zimmer und eine günstige Lage. Ich würde definitiv wieder hier übernachten und kann es jedem Birmingham-Besucher wärmstens empfehlen.

5 stars. Exceptionally clean room, outstanding staff and an unbeatable location. Everything you need is within walking distance and the surrounding shops and amenities make it the perfect spot. Friendly people throughout and an altogether excellent stay. Highly recommended.
