Had some issue with our hotel room key. The staff were very proactive trying to resolve the issue, but it was only till the 2nd day of our stay that was resolved.
There was no compensation for the incovenience caused as we only had 1 phisical key for 4 ppl.
Having said that, the rest of the service was very nice, would be happy to go back again.

Begrüßungsservice, kostenlose Getränke und eine Überraschungsgeburtstagstorte. Gäste können sich an der Rezeption viele Dinge ausleihen, angefangen von einem Dyson-Haartrockner, Ladekabeln, einer Gitarre, einem Cajon usw. Malerisches Design und schöner Gemeinschaftsbereich mit Waschsalon, Küche, Fitnessstudio und sogar einer hauseigenen Bibliothek. Geldwechsel an der Rezeption oder in der Bank nebenan möglich.
Das einzige kleine Problem war der muffige Geruch aus dem Waschbecken, der in beiden gebuchten Zimmern vorhanden war. Das Personal hatte keine Probleme, sich auf Englisch zu verständigen.
Alles in allem eine ausgezeichnete Wahl für ein paar Tage in Tainan!

GGastnutzerImportant: Please bring ear plugs! the sound from street traffic is kind of echoey and loud. I went to buy some after my first night.
Location is hard to beat. I got to try quite a few good eateries just by staying here. And there are street markets of different types within short walking distance.
I was staying in a room on 2nd level and using the shared bathroom, but it looked like i was the the only one using it.
Everything is clean and spotless, as if the place is very new. The hot/cold water dispenser at ground level is very useful. More hooks/hangers in the room for hanging clothes would be nice. The light feature above the bed and the full-length glass windows that allow natural light are very aesthetically pleasing.
What was perhaps unusual and a bit unnerving - a first for me - was that i didn't see ANY person around the whole of my 4-day stay. I arrived late and had to do a self check-in on the first day so that was to be expected, but on subsequent days no staff were at reception, nor did i see any guests (though i could faintly hear them in their rooms on certain days). Is this a low season thing? Having said that, i found the self-check in and check-out is quite convenient and if you have connected with them over Whatsapp, they send clear instructions beforehand. They will also answer any questions over Whataspp, so i guess it's like a virtual receptionist?

GGabrielle TengThe location is great as it is located to the restaurant and bars cluster. The facilities are clean, well equipped and relatively new. My only issue is with the desk staff, they were not friendly to start with, upon arrival (about 12pm) we were told to just park our luggage at a corner, no tags were assigned, no labelling, nothing. Then told to come back to do check-in at 3pm, they cannot any time earlier than that, so we left and came back at 3pm. At this point it was a female staff with bangs that helped us, I showed her the hotel booking email and she said she wants the Trip.com booking app page, I showed her and she said she wants to see the booking ID. I showed her that too and at this point she said ”read it out to me”. The booking ID was on my phone screen and she didn't even bother to see it, and wants me to READ IT ALOUD TO HER. Maybe she's dyslexic? I don't know. Then I added on one extra day of stay which did not reflect on the paper that she asked me to sign so I pointed that out and she double confirmed that it was printed wrongly. Fast forward a few days, all of our access cards were not able to work for our same rooms that we stayed, I assume it is because she did not grant the correct number of days upon check in, which also resulted in some inconvenience going to and fro the room and counter. And that same staff carried the same attitude when renewing the faulty access cards. Every morning the breakfast service staff was rude as well, like I owed her a million dollars or something, ”you which room? you sit here”. One morning she came to me ”how many people in your room? not 2 person?”, I stayed alone in a 3pax family room with no changes at all. I really dread breakfast everyday. When we checked out there was a new crew of desk staff which was much better in terms of attitude and service, it was the weekend team. I had 2 more weeks of stay in Tainan and I moved to another hotel. Overall I will not stay in this hotel ever again, other than the service, everything is great.

GGastnutzerthe penthouse is just nice to fit 7 pax of us, including the extra mattress for a kid.
We love the penthouse which we have our own hot spring bathtub and steam room. The facilities are good, they have public and private facilities pools.
The hotel opens the pools to outsiders also, so it might be quite busy and crowded for the public pools facility.
Please prepare some snacks or instant food before you go to stay as there is no convenient shops or mini market nearby.
you have to walk about 20mins to go to the nearby town. The reception sells instant noodle cups but always out of stock. But there is restaurant in the hotel.
The hotel is not new but still good and manageable, they are still practiced the old system which is using hand written record for guests booking.
There is no bell boy to help you on the luggage, we have to carry one by one to our hotel room, which car is not reachable to your door steps. And the road to your room is slopes.
Hotel staff services are just okay, not very hospitality impressions for us as foreigners.
We love the public pools, there are over 10+ different types of hot spring pools in the hotel.

GGastnutzerDie Rezeption wurde von jungen Damen bedient, die alle sehr zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit waren. Sie sorgten dafür, dass Sie einen angenehmen Aufenthalt hatten. Das Zimmer war einfach, aber sauber. Es war größer als erwartet. Toilettenartikel sind nur begrenzt vorhanden.
