Das Hotel vereint modernen Chic mit traditioneller Eleganz und ist ein Spektakel, das man gesehen haben muss. Mit einem wunderschönen viktorianischen Garten gleich links vom Eingang, einem Dachgarten und Swimmingpool sowie anderen Instagram-würdigen Orten, die über das ganze Hotel verteilt sind, war unser Aufenthalt dort wie eine Schnitzeljagd nach dem Bild, das die meisten „Likes“ bekommt. Eitelkeit beiseite, der Service ist ausgezeichnet. Der Concierge beantwortete freundlich alle unsere Fragen zum Flughafenshuttle und den örtlichen Frühstückslokalen und war im Allgemeinen sehr hilfsbereit. Das Zimmer selbst war sauber und geräumig und hatte alles, was man sich wünschen kann. Der Toilettensitz öffnete sogar automatisch seine Abdeckung, als wir das Badezimmer betraten! Die Lage, nur 5 Minuten vom Bahnhof entfernt und direkt neben dem Miramar Entertainment Park, ist ebenfalls unschlagbar. Alles, was wir brauchten, war direkt vor unserer Haustür zu erreichen. Der Aufenthalt war so angenehm, dass wir gar nicht mehr weg wollten!

Bei dem Hotel handelt es sich um kein Übliches! Auch deshalb bestellt man sich seine Speisen ins Zimmer und bekommt diese anonym geliefert. Das mitgebuchte Frühstück nimmt man gegenüber in einem Cafe mit angeschlossener Bäckerei zw. 8 und 10 Uhr zu sich. Der Zugang ins Hotel ist etwas geheimnisvoll. Musste erst einmal um das komplette Quadrat fahren, ehe ich herausgefunden habe, dass man ausschließlich via Tiefgarage einchecken kann. Etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig, aber eben ein Motel . Die Zimmer sind riesig und das Badezimmer enorm groß, inkl. eingelassenes Jacuzzi! Die generelle Lage ist gut, Metrostation Jiannan knapp 15 Minuten Fußweg entfernt, der Flughafen Songshan nur zwei Stationen entfernt und dennoch belästigt einem kein Fluglärm.

Front desk agents are very friendly and helpful on moving my luggages from the street. Because it is on Thursday night stay, therefore the room rate is competitive. But the room rates for Friday, Saturday and Sunday are much higher for me to seek other options. The room carpet needs replacement. There is no luggage rack and space for placing my luggages, except on the floor. Room size is small, therefore more suitable for one double bed instead of two single beds.

Ich habe dieses Hotel wirklich genossen! Das Personal war ausgezeichnet, wirklich herzlich und professionell. Das Zimmer war schön. Es war retro, aber die Ausstattung war erstklassig. Das Bett war unglaublich bequem! Ich fand es toll, dass es ein Bidet mit der Toilette gab und auch all die kleinen Dinge wie die Wäscheleine und die bereitgestellte Yogamatte. Es lag an einer Hauptstraße in der Nähe vieler wunderbarer Touristengebiete.

Der Service war in jeder Hinsicht hervorragend. Auch die Einrichtungen waren recht gut, mit einer kostenlosen Kaffeebar im siebten Stock, die morgens auch Brot und Toast servierte. Die Lage war ebenfalls ausgezeichnet, was die Verkehrsanbindung sehr bequem machte. Der Waschraum war etwas weit weg, man musste nach hinten gehen und Münzen benutzen. Auch das Wäschetrocknen mitten im Waschgang war etwas umständlich. Alles andere war ausgezeichnet! Die Sahnekekse im siebten Stock waren köstlich und der Kaffee war auch gut! Es gab auch viele Geschäfte in der Nähe, von Drogerien und Lebensmittelläden bis hin zu Milchtee-Läden. Der Xingtian-Tempel war bequem zu Fuß erreichbar.

Unser bisheriges Lieblingshotel in Taipeh! Das Hotel ist sauber, groß und liegt in der Nähe der U-Bahn-Station Zhongshan, sodass man die Gegend leicht erkunden kann. Das Hotelpersonal war freundlich und begrüßte uns mit einem Lächeln, wann immer wir an der Rezeption vorbeikamen. Unser Zimmer bietet außerdem einen Blick auf Taipei 101, was es wirklich angenehm macht. Ich kann dieses Hotel wärmstens empfehlen!

GGastnutzer1. Misleading Entrance Signage
Upon arrival, we followed the signage pasted on a pillar that directed guests to a staircase entrance. However, when we reached that entrance, we were shocked to find the door marked with the sign “来宾止步” (“Guests Stop Here”). When we raised this with your staff, we were told that this entrance has not been in use since the COVID-19 period. While we understand that certain operations may have changed during the pandemic, COVID-19 restrictions have ended for more than two years. If the primary entrance has been permanently closed, why has no corrective action been taken and the misleading signage still left there? Carrying heavy luggage up and down a sloped path unnecessarily was frustrating and avoidable.
2. No Staff Assistance or Clear Signage at the New Entrance
When we finally located the new entrance, there were no staff members on standby to assist us, nor was there any clear external signage indicating that this was the correct way to access the lobby. The explanation given later was that all staff were away assisting with parking which is not acceptable. At least one person should have been assigned to remain at the entrance, or the last person leaving should have arranged for another colleague to cover the position. In addition, the Operations Director mentioned that there is signage inside the new entrance directing guests to take the elevator to the lobby. However, this logic is flawed. If guests cannot locate the correct entrance in the first place, how could they possibly see a sign placed inside?
3. Poorly Trained and Unprofessional Front Desk Behavior
After struggling outside, we called the number listed on Google. Only then did someone finally come out and lead us in. By that time, we were exhausted and upset. When we confronted the front desk staff about why they ignored us, despite us clearly visible outside the “来宾止步” glass door, making eye contact and knocking for help, but they claimed they “did not see us.” This excuse was clearly untrue, as we observed them looking in our direction. Even more disappointing, none of the front desk staff offered an apology even until we requested to speak to the Operations Director and asked him to review the CCTV footage. After reviewing the footage, the Operations Director confirmed that the front desk had not been alert and apologized on their behalf. However, he did not acknowledge that the front desk’s attitude and lack of sincerity were also serious problems. Being “not alert enough” and showing no sense of apology or empathy are two entirely different issues.
As an international hotel, the front desk is the first impression of your service. Regardless of the quality of your facilities, this poor experience completely overshadowed the positive aspects of our stay. It also severely damages the reputation of Kagaya Group — a brand that has long been admired for its exemplary Japanese hospitality and politeness. Although we appreciate the Operations Director’s effort to make amends by offering us a meal and gifts (which we declined), it remains undeniable that this incident reflects a failure in staff training and management oversight.
We hope that management will seriously review this incident, especially the issues of:
- Inadequate and misleading signage at the entrance
- Lack of staff presence and assistance upon guest arrival
- Poor front desk awareness and unprofessional behavior
We trust that Kagaya Group will uphold its proud tradition of service by addressing these problems promptly and ensuring no other guests experience such treatment in the future.

Sehr zufrieden. Das Hotel liegt in der Nähe des Bahnhofs und bietet zahlreiche gastronomische Einrichtungen in der Nähe. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und geräumig. Die Buchung mit Freunden war eine gute Entscheidung. Ich werde dieses Hotel beim nächsten Mal auf jeden Fall wieder buchen. Insgesamt würde ich eine 90 geben.

Gutes Hostel für 1 bis 2 Nächte. Lage ist gut im Zentrum. Sef Check-in um 2 Uhr nachts war kein Problem. Gepäck konnte nach dem Checkout abgestellt werden. Wasserspender vorhanden. Betten sind groß für 2 Personen. Wasserdruck sehr gut, Heißwasser vorhanden.
