Amber Guest Rooms

When I arrived at the hotel late (I had messaged ahead to say what time I would arrive) there was no answer when I pressed the buzzer. I phoned them and was let in by a member of staff who apologised for having fallen asleep. My room was very close to the desk which wasn’t ideal because I could hear other guests moving around and arriving, but I have to say everytime I passed there was not a member of staff there. The biggest problem I had at this hotel was other guests being noisy, although this is not the fault of the staff if there was someone there they could have told them to be quiet much sooner than they did. The guests were shouting from about 1am to about 3am when a member of staff eventually came downstairs and told them to be quiet. A similar problem occurred the following night when a guest got locked out and was ringing the bell for about an hour and another guest had to let them in. The location of the hotel and facilities are good but I had two awful nights sleep so I cannot recommend this hotel.

Posizione comoda. La camera era piccola, il letto matrimoniale consiste in un materasso appoggiato per terra sul soppalco e quindi molto scomodo. Il divano letto scomodo, pulizia al minimo indispensabile. Bagno privato esterno alla camera (specificato nella descrizione della camera), per arrivarci devi passare davanti alla reception, porta d’ingresso, 2 camere e la cucina (stanza 4) e lavandino in comune con un’altra camera (quindi non bagno privato). Molto simile ad un ostello. Coi prezzi di Cracovia mi aspettavo più qualità. All’ingresso, dove c’è anche l’entrata del pub, c’è un odore strano che svanisce salendo per fortuna. Regole anti Covid inesistenti, come il gel disinfettante e le mascherine. All’arrivo non ci hanno registrato il check in e abbiamo dovuto pagare in contanti (quindi uscire e prelevare la cifra di tutto il soggiorno) poiché il post si era sfortunatamente rotto il giorno prima. Pessima esperienza. Magari con un’altra camera poteva andare un po’ meglio, ma la numero 4 sconsigliatissima!!!!
