Hotels in der Nähe von Lamai Beach, Koh Samui

Ich habe im August mit meinem Tier 3 Tage im Lamai Buri Resort geblieben. Das Personal war sehr nett, zeigte uns um die Insel. Das Zimmer war sauber, ruhig + sehr nahe am Strand. Bereits vermisst der schmeckte Hund dort sm. Ich möchte wirklich dem Besitzer, Personal für unseren erstaunlichen Aufenthalt danken! Hoch empfohlen 💙

Away from the hustle of central Chaweng, so is a good spot to be based for quiet times and used as a base to explore the island. Beachfront pool villas are nice, large and great views of the ocean. Private pool is a bonus and well worth the upgrade. Hotel was busy when I stayed and everyone seemed to be happy and enjoying themselves. The pool isn’t the largest but plentiful for the amount of rooms. Don’t forget, there are the villas with private pools, so a fair number of guests will be in their own area. Access to the beach is not directly in front of the hotel, but that’s a good thing otherwise I would be hearing everyone in front of my villa each day. Access is the side of the resort just past the restaurant. Along this stretch of beach has a few other hotel bars and restaurants to eat and drink in and if you head to the furtherest headland point, and head inland, you will come across a handful of bars and restaurants. As many people have said, the hotel is next to a road - but like most hotels in Samui, it’s just the design of the island. You can avoid the main road for your walk to the local area by going along the stretch of beach. And when you are on the island, why wouldn’t you want to walk along the beach?! So don’t listen to those comments about nothing nearby. If you want the hustle of the nightlife, Chaweng central is 15 minutes away. Get on the shuttle or order a taxi for 300thb. It’s a 4 star hotel, trying to get back to some kind of normal after covid and over time, I am sure the owners will reinvest their money to make improvements where some other guests have commented about in other posts but I do think it is dependent on the room type you book and/or are assigned as most of them are fine. Give it a go, it is worth it. I’ve been to many hotels over the years - more than the average Joe - and it’s only recently where I’ve checked in and out of two hotels on the same day in all these years.

So I think you need to read this and ask yourself, what are you paying for? Given the fairly decent price when searching for somewhere to stay for two weeks there were too many compromising issues and so not worth it now with the benefit of hindsight. I do think however you get what you pay for and if you see the price of this place and think it’s a really good deal, the below may go some way to explaining why! And you may not care… like the owners of this place. Room Positives - air con worked great, not noisy at all. Seems newly painted though to a poor standard. Good size for two people, smart TV was unexpected brilliance! Given the rain we had and some nights wanting to stay in, being able to log into streaming services was great. Small fridge freezer was great too given we buy a lot of food in 7/11 rather then eat out all the time. Negatives - Quiet only if you don’t have any neighbours, can hear people moving furniture sometimes but not a lot. The doors leading the balcony are not sound proof at all, so hopefully no one’s shouting at 3am like we had one night. Hope the pouring rain, trilling insects don’t bother you ( helps me sleep but might bother some) Oh and cockroaches. ‘Only’ 2 in a couple weeks but still, not something you want to see in your room! Surprised also to find a gecko in the room, that’s probably a positive given the cockroaches! Bed(ding) - Positives- comfy bed with firm mattress. Large queen size. negatives - Bedding annoyed us the most. We arrive to dirty smelly bedding. Had them change it and they had to do it three times realising each time it wasn’t clean or smelling good. When they make up the room they simply rotate/turn inside out the bedding. We asked them after 7 days to change it again and all they changed were the pillow cases and bed sheet. It’s easy to tell given all the stains in the bedding making each one unique! Wet-room - it’s is what it is. It’s fine but there’s lots of mould around the sink and the mirror is peeling. Simple to fix but they don’t bother. Staff - Positives - they are there if you do need to find someone. Generally look to resolve anything when asked Negatives - quite apathetic to providing a proactive service. Which is odd for Thais, they are great people but here they are almost devoid of their normal smiles and eagerness to engage with you. Every interaction is a transaction with as few words as possible. Pools and loungers Positives - location overlooking the sea is amazing! Great sea breeze, palm trees, good stretch of the beach. Negatives - Pools are ok, the water is murky, doesn’t seem like they try to maintain a clear pool. But they are good size and look nice and are clean of debris. The loungers are not managed, people claim them overnight or early morning and some don’t even turn up leaving two towels all day and they are not used, staff should work to remove claimed loungers after a time of not being used so others can have them. Insgesamt ist die Lage gut, aber es gibt keine Toilettenartikel, Sie müssen also Ihre eigenen mitbringen; in der Lobby gibt es Kaffee und Brot und das Hotel verfügt über einen Swimmingpool. Hinter dem Hotel befindet sich eine Restaurant- und Barstraße.

Lage: Das Hotel liegt an einem Ort, der nicht zu überfüllt ist. Aber es liegt in der Nähe verschiedener Touristenattraktionen, Restaurants und Fußgängerzonen und das Hotel ist schattig. Schöner Garten und direkt am Meer, gute Atmosphäre. Zimmer: Kompakt, sauber, mit diversen Annehmlichkeiten wie Safe, Fön, TV, Tee, Kaffee, Trinkwasser, Handtüchern usw. Die Klimaanlage ist kühl, das Wasser fließt gut, das Bett ist bequem, aber ich würde gerne Ich hätte Wattebällchen und hätte gerne einen Fernseher. Kann YouTube und Netflix öffnen und ansehen. Frühstück: Es handelt sich um ein köstliches Buffet mit einer großen Auswahl. Swimmingpool: Neben dem Strand gibt es viele Pools, darunter Pools für Erwachsene und Kinder, oder Sie können im Meer schwimmen. Sonstiges: - Wenn Sie ein Auto mieten möchten, um Koh Samui zu erkunden. Wenden Sie sich bequem an den Tourenschalter an der Vorderseite. - Das Hotel verlangt eine Kaution von 1.500 Baht, die in bar oder per Kreditkarte bezahlt werden kann. Wenn Sie nicht im Hotel Geld ausgeben, bekommen Sie es zurück.

We stayed here for 6 nights. in January 2023. Staff were friendly, respectful, accommodating & wanted to make our stay wonderful. Special thanks to a lady who ensured our room was really special and cleaned. The room was great and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was awesome and an old man was there, paying attention to all the guests. The hotel in ideally located right on a road opposite of Chaweng Noi beach that is very quiet and amazing place to suntan and relax. A seven eleven is near by the Hotel just 10 min walk. it is 100 Baht to take into the town center by tuk tuk. We rent a motorbike from the hotel which was brand new and we did not need to pay for a taxi anymore. The hotel restaurant offers a variety of foods & overlooks a nice pool with lovely setting. I would definitely come back here & would recommend it without hesitation. Thank you Chaweng Noi Pool Villa for an amazing holiday.

As mentioned before , this is in the busy part of town but not so crazy where we were up all night with noise as the hotel is set back from the main road and we were in building 4 which is next to the beach. The hotel rooms are small but well appointed . Staff very helpful and laundry service very efficient. The cost of transfer from airport which is 15 mins away was 400 THB which we used and they charged back to the room , which was great meant i didn't need to use cash. This hotel is really just a base , you need to find places to go for dinner and drinks out as it just doesn't have that vibe, although the big banana shaped loungers on the deck overlooking the sea in the evening was a nice place for a beer before we headed out.

Tolles Hotel mit ausserordentlich nettem und gutem Service! Alle Mitarbeiter sind sehr hilfsbereit und haben immer ein Lächeln für jeden übrig. Das Frühstück lässt keine Wünsche offen und auch abends kann man sehr lecker in der Strandbar essen. Die Poolanlage ist wunderschön und sehr gepflegt und der Strand einfach traumhaft. Das Mobiliar ist teilweise schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen, hat uns aber nicht gestört weil es trotzdem sehr sauber und gemütlich war. Von der Rezeption zum Strand fährt ein Buggy, den man jederzeit nutzen kann, oder man spaziert gemütlich durch die wunderschön begrünte Anlage mit Wasserfall ..... Man kann auf jeden Fall gut entspannen! Wir können dieses Hotel empfehlen und würden es wieder buchen!

Hatten ein Ocean View Zimmer gebucht. EIN TRAUM - Wir fühlten uns wie in der Präsidentensuite. Riesiges Zimmer, Riesiges Bad, Tolle riesige Terrasse mit gebuchtem Meer-Blick Positiv - sehr viel Platz - gut ausgestattetes Zimmer mit Kaffeemaschine (Kostenloser Kaffee und Tee) - durch die vielen Treppen (ohne Aufzug) bleibt/wird man fit - Infinity Pool ist ein Traum. Durchgängige Pooltiefe von 140 cm war für mich als unsicheren Schwimmer ideal - Kostenlos Handtücher, Trinkwasser und sogar Sonnenmilch an Infinity und Beach-Pool - Supernettes und zuvorkommendes Personal - vielen Dank an Jolie für die liebe Betreuung beim Frühstück! - vielen Dank Pat für deine guten Tips! - riesige, weitläufige Anlage - Elektro-Golfwagen-Service (wer nicht zu Fuß laufen möchte, kann sich überall mit den Wägelchen hinfahren lassen (z.B. Strand oder Parkplatz) - tolle Lage am Berg (Tsunami-sicher) - Umfangreiches Frühstücksbuffet - Kostenloser Shuttle zu Einkaufszentrum und Sehenswürdigkeiten - Täglich Live-Musik an der Bar (chillig und nicht zu laut. Sehr angenehm) Negativ - Kein Aufzug, sehr viele Treppen, nichts für Fuß-Faule :-) (kann man positiv oder auch negativ sehen) - Terrasse am Zimmer ist nicht überdacht (Da es fast jeden 2.Tag geregnet hat, konnten wir die Terrasse kaum nutzen, da die Polster der King-Size-Liege durchnässt war.) - Riesiges Bad, aber die angrenzende Toilette ist so winzig, daß man die Türe kaum schließen kann (wir haben die Türe dann immer offen gelassen, das mag aber sicher nicht jeder!) - Essen und Trinken hoffnungslos überteuert - Es gibt zwar 6 Pools, aber nur an 2 davon gibt es Handtücher, Trinkwasser und Toiletten. Die anderen sind wohl ausschließlich für die Bewohner der Bungalows davor gedacht - viel zu wenige Liegen am Infinity Pool und am Stand-Pool (wir hassen es, wenn Leute (meist Deutsche) schon am Morgen mit Handtüchern ihre Liegen reservieren. Hier mussten wir das leider auch machen, da wir sonst keinen Platz bekommen hätten) - Zu wenig Schirme/Schattenplätze an den Pools - Sehr abgelegen - Baden im Meer wegen Korallen nicht/kaum möglich - Hier werden oft Hochzeiten gefeiert, da ist das Hotel ziemlich überlaufen und etwas laut. Uns persönlich hat´s nicht gestört, sollte man aber wissen. Auch wenn die Negativ-Liste sehr lange ist: Die positiven Aspekte überwiegen für uns dermaßen, daß wir mit Sicherheit wieder kommen werden!!!

Das ist mein drittes Aufenthaltsverbot bei Samui Seemädchen. Kann nicht fehlen, das ist nur das, was ich meine Seele vor dem Fliegen nach Hause zu beladen. Ich habe die Deluxe Seite mit seinem eigenen Pool geblieben und es ist es wert, die extra Penny zu verbringen, wenn Sie genießen, einen Pool zu haben alles für sich selbst 😊 Stay sind schön wie immer, Lage ist brillant, Ansichten sind erstaunlich. Alle n alles, wenn Sie irgendwo wollen, um sich zu kühlen, entspannen und Ihre Seele wieder aufladen, bevor Sie nach Hause fliegen, dann ist das der Ort zu bleiben! Ich werde sicher wieder kommen x
