The service was not good as expected, we even need to serve ourselves in the restaurant and no one said merry Chris**as even on the Chris**as Eve and Chris**as Day. The location of the room provided is not satisfactory. The hotel is old but location is good. BTW the kettle in the room is really really stinky… :(

酒店看起來比較古老，但是工作人員特別好，我們早晨到的，本來衹想寄存行李，等下午到時間在辦理入住，結果前台直接幫我們提前入住了。酒店對面有個大超市，很方便。早餐也比較豐富，很好。

We didn’t see much of the hotel as we arrived late and left early for the pre-dawn flight out of Kemi-Tornio airport. But I want to thank the staff for accommodating our late check-in, arranging the taxi to the airport the next morning and providing to go breakfasts. The hotel is an easy walk from the Kemi train station, even late at night in a January snowstorm as it was for us. The hotel itself is a well-maintained time capsule from the mid-twentieth century, which seemed charming to us during our very brief stay. I can mostly just speak to the staff who went above and beyond beyond to facilitate our transit stop.

I am really impressed with this hotel. It is only 10-15 minutes walk away from the train station.
I was able to check in early due to my train journey from Helsinki arriving at 09.45. So I did not have to wait around until 14.00.
I would stay here again.

I had a great stay in this very traditional hotel, the staff are very friendly and helpful. Anna was always on hand to help with the language barrier. My room was clean and tidy with the extra bonus of a sauna.

The staff was very friendly, professional, knowledgeable, multilingual and the food was amazing. They went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and took our allergies into consideration and provided the best meals ever! The rooms were cleaned daily and the staff wore masks in public areas, but still remained friendly and greeted guests. Checking in and out was very easy and i appreciated talking to a human being and being welcomed in person. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Kemi. The location is great! It is in walking distance to a supermarket, A**, pharmacy, Subway (the food establishment) and many more different stores.
