Hotel Palas

Bad luck, when we arrived at the hotel, all streets around were in work. Even the place is quiet, the view around was not very pleasant. Rooms are clean. Our bathroom was freshly painted and renewed and it was top. But the furniture are somewhat tired and outdated. The wallpaper was peeling in many places and nothing was really rigth (television, picture on the wall, door clinch,...). Even if outside the area was quiet, we had to suffer our noisy neighbors for a good part of the night. At the breakfast, the waiter was not the more pleasant when i asked him for a hot chocolate. So i had to choose another drink. We had a poor choose of pastries. So for a single night ok but no more.

The Palas Hotel is super clean and well maintained. The decor is dated but very comfortable. Breakfast was OK but served in a very dark area and the food kept being brought out to the buffet by stages so it was annoying. The last thing they bought out was a delicious Russian potato salad but by then I could only taste it since I was too full to enjoy a regular portion. There was some noise from other rooms which eventually quieted down. We were in a quiet corner so street noise was not a problem. The New York Pub about a 5 minute walk away was great!

Very clean, very quiet, very good and large doublebed, very good breakfast! We reach the hotel on a saturday, late in the evening, we found a free room and we managed to eat in the hotel restaurant at 21.30.

A parte la posizione centrale mi è sembrato un pò dismesso, la doccia nella vasca poco funzionale e scomoda da utilizzare. Personale cordiale e disponibile. Camera grande e pulita ma rumorosa. Buona la colazione.

Ancien hôtel stylé oriental - propre - chambre spacieuse - Mérite un petit coup de rénovation - sinon très bien - bon service efficace et rapide - Petit déjeuner tout à fait correct - Nous avons eu la chance d’assister lors du repas à un spectacle folklorique (à commander avant votre séjour) de bonne facture
