Cliveland Residence

CliveLand Residence was a great place to stay in. Very clean and organized. Beautiful place with a garden and a view. Breakfast was excellent as well. The manager of the hotel was very accessible and kind, he ordered us some food at night when everything was already closed. Great hotel if you’re coming with a driver.

Kandy is a surprisingly busy city, so Cliveland Residence being a little tucked away up on the hills is actually a good thing - after all, Uber and Pick-me is available if you need to get anywhere. As such, the place is very quiet and serene - it's basically a large home turned into a small hotel, manned by 2 people. Staffs are super nice, but do not expect 5-star amenities here as the hotel is small. If you keep expectations in check, then I believe you will have a good stay - I definitely did, as it was super quiet in the room. If you walk around the neighborhood, you will spot monkeys even! There is a little garden outside with swing that you can enjoy the view from. Breakfast was simple but fine. Overall, great value and very clean and comfy - very recommended!

We stayed here for two days and we were more than satisfied. Modern rooms are clean, there are very nice bathrooms. It is located on a hill, so the view is breathtaking. It takes only 5 minutes to get to the city centre by car. The stuff is also really friendly.

This is a really good place to stay. Nice experience with the beautiful view from the room and clean and well-kept place. We enjoyed the breakfast and all the other care what was provided. Thanks to the host and staff we had a really good stay here.

The residence was upto the standard and enjoyed the stay very much. Totally worth for the price and the breakfast was simple and delicious. There is a beautiful hill garden with a spectating view of mountains. The staff was also very friendly and located in a very convenient location.

Best place in kandy if you are coming with you friends. Friendly staff, nice room and a superb view. Located right in the middle of the kandy. Best place that you can stay in Kandy. Clean rooms and washrooms

I enjoyed the stay pretty much. My kids loved the place as there was a garden to play. The place is so calming not much crowded or over packed. The breakfast was up to the standard with a simple english breakfast.
