Mekong River Jinglan Hotel East Tower

Felt like they were brushing us off. Kept saying that our room wasn't clean yet for hours and then when I pointed this out and complained they suddenly had a clean room for us. The room was fine although it should have been more impressive for the amount I paid. The buffet food was good when it was available. It seemed like they did not restock food when it got eaten. Very nice pool though.

Very huge hotel, well located on the left bank of the Mekong, therefore away from the city center and its infernal traffic. The place is calm especially in the evening and in the morning, which is essential for a good night's rest. The rooms are large, clean and offer all the amenities and services one would expect in a hotel like this. Small regret: no USB socket in the rooms ...... The service at the reception is impeccable, some staff speak a little English. The breakfast is huge, chinese and international, you will find there all what you like. Ample parking in the basement, free for hotel guests. The hotel is located at only 300 meters from great golden pagoda and most interesting at the same distance from Gaozhuang night market, which is a must see in Jinghong, dont miss it. The hotel also offers an exhibition of ancient local crafts, well documented and really interesting ( from Yunnan museum)

Located in the middle of 告庄 and the hotel has a big pool to keep children happy! The room is clean with very nice view!

This hotel is amazing and beautiful. It is enormous and has a spa, pool and even art gallery inside. You will not be bored. It is also just beside the night market. This is by far the nicest hotel downtown and any travellers we met staying in a resort on the outskirts of town wished they were staying where we were.

Biggest hotel in the old town area (best area to stay). All the comforts of a 5 star, but one issue -- it's along the river where the night market is, so it's very noisy until late at night. If you sleep early, get a room on the mountain view side.

Staying at the Mekong River Jinan was like stepping into another realm. The fade of colours, sounds and jungle mist over the Mekong River, the hustle and bustle of the nearby markets, the balcony to see it all and the soft bed to rest your body and your heart... I'm very impressed. They deserve your custom, and you deserve the palace they have made for us.

Great location right by the night market. Staff didn’t speak English but quickly used a translation app to give me the relevant information about the pool and the breakfast.

Beautiful hotel located a short walk from the night market as well as many shops and restaurants. Rooms were clean, comfortable and specious. The breakfast had lots of choice but the real highlight were the swimming pools including pools for kids, an infinity pool, and heated pools.
