Las Brisas Ixtapa

El hotel es muy lindo y todo es accesible, el personal es muy atento, me volvería a hospedar y lo recomiendo bastante.

Respecto al servicio, limpiezo, trato estuvieron muy bien. Sin embargo las albercas no fueron algo tan agradable por el diseño y la variedad de comida en los buffets.

The resort is a very unique design, so you have views from restaurant/bar and your room. It is also in its own cove which has a very nice size beach. Unfortunately from the pool area there are over 100 stairs down to it. From the base of the resort they do have a 3 person elevator that you can take and then there are not as many stairs but still a walk and there is a snack bar and waiters down there. The 2 pools are 5' deep and have a set of steps into each, I had to stand on my tiptoes to keep my mouth out of the water. The the pools have huge trees giving them some shade but also LOTS of leaves and flowers that the pool guys could not keep up with (what a mess to swim in). There is also a shallow children's pool that didn't have the major issue with leaves/flowers. The month of May might not be the best time to visit. The waves were huge at the beach and the stuff in the pools made for a disappointing swimming experience. The employees were great and the buffets were good. They offer a Happy Hour at the lobby bar between 6-7pm. Our room could use updating but were kept clean. Don't plan on walking to town take the taxi it doesn't look that far but it is a walk.

Food, staff and beach was great. Building is old and air conditioner was not working well. There were no shuttles and had to rely on taxis

Although I was a little skeptical at check in because the hotel seems a bit older, I was very pleased with our stay. All the rooms facing the ocean is a plus. Due to our VIP ******* status, we were upgraded to the beach club level which included higher floor rooms (we were on the 21st) and your continental breakfast and 1 hour daily of happy hour. It is so worth it! When I thought continental breakfast I thought pastries and coffee. I was so wrong! There was such a great selection of entrees along with fresh juices, sodas and even beer. Mario who runs the beach club service was very attentive and made sure everything was stocked and available. The only complaint I have is the pool. There are 2 pools available. One of them being adults only and the other was available to everyone. They were both 5 ft tall at any point. Being a short person, I found it hard to hang out in the pool considering I had to be on my tip toes the whole time. There is no gradual deepening. It’s all 5 feet tall. The view at the main pool was better than the adult pool. Our server at the pool, Reynaldo was THE BEST! He stayed on top of it. Making sure we didn’t need anything from more ice to drinks. We were so pleased the next day we wanted him to be our server again but unfortunately it was someone else’s area. Even tho he wasn’t our server he still checked on us to make sure we didn’t need anything. You can tell he loves his job and pleasing people is his priority!!! Overall it was a great experience.

It was clean. AC didn’t work too well. There was only two restaurants and all inclusive wasn’t all inclusive. Only got two dinners out of 5 nights at restaurants. Everything is so far, pool was no nice. Lots of walking. Good at buffet was not good especially breakfast was terrible. Staff was very nice.

Wonderful place to relax and restore. Quiet, friendly staff and the private beach is an added bonus. Would highly recommend staying here. You will not be disappointed.

I choose this hotel because it was a VIP, we didn’t received any amenity and not even they acknowledge that we had that perk. Terrible all inclusive, it was not worth the extra money we paid for the service. Cold food in the open area buffet. Variety was zero. We only stayed for two nights and we weren’t able to eat at the specialties restaurants. Front desk people was not attentive. To put the cherry on top, one afternoon we were watching tv and two guys walked inside our room, the from desk gave them our room by mistake. I have to call front desk to ask how secure it was that other people had keys to our room. Two days that supposed to be a dream were a mediocre experience.
