"The hostel is located in a quiet neighborhood, with a small temple nearby that adds to the charm of the area. There’s also a cozy home-run bar just downstairs, which gives the place a welcoming, local feel. The rooms and common areas were extremely clean, which made the stay very comfortable. RRobbieRobRobDieser Ort war eine angenehme Überraschung. Die speziellen Einzelkabinen waren geräumig und komfortabel und hatten ein Schließfach, um Ihre Sachen sicher aufzubewahren. Die Inneneinrichtung wirkte luxuriös und gut durchdacht, außerdem wurde der ganze Ort sauber gehalten. Jeder Mitarbeiter, dem ich während meines dreitägigen Aufenthalts begegnete, war freundlich und sprach gut Englisch. Der größte Bonus war die Onsen-Einrichtung, die ein toller Abschluss eines Tages voller langer Spaziergänge und Erkundungen war. Sehr empfehlenswert und ich werde auf jeden Fall wieder hier übernachten!

One of the biggest highlights of my stay was the toilet and bathroom area — exceptionally clean, modern, and cozy. Despite being a shared facility, everything was spotless and well-maintained at all times. The design was sleek, and the space felt more like a boutique hotel than a budget capsule. The toilets are equipped with Japan’s signature high-tech bidet functions, and the overall cleanliness really exceeded my expectations. Even the subtle lighting and warm wood tones added to the relaxing feel every time I used the bathroom. The rest of the hotel was equally impressive. The capsules were comfortable, quiet, and felt more private than I expected. The lounge area was a nice place to relax or do a bit of planning for the day. Plus, the location is perfect — just a short walk from Shinsaibashi shopping street and a quick train ride to most Osaka hotspots. If you’re looking for a well-designed, clean, and cozy place to stay in Osaka, I highly recommend Hotel Cargo Shinsaibashi. Especially if you value hygiene and comfort in shared facilities, this hotel delivers above and beyond.

JJanno from ManilaAmazing capsule hotel experience in Namba worth your every yen! This place made me rethink the idea of capsule hotels! If you’re a solo traveler, this is an excellent choice - very affordable and right at the center of the action. Rooms were a bit toasty, I would prefer them cooler. Unfortunately, you won’t be able to crank up the AC as it is centralized. As expected, it is a double decker and very compact, but it has enough space for a tall guy, I’m a short king so everything was great. Each capsule has a TV and enough sockets to charge your devices. Beds were alright. You’ll still have decent privacy despite the capsule set up. This is a mostly self-service hotel. You take some of the amenities (toothbrushes, combs, etc) and they also provide you indoor clothes you can wear while inside the hotel and in the sauna, onsen and bathrooms. Towels are provided everyday or you can ask them at the counter. I like that they keep it very clean. They clean the public areas everyday. The only downside is probably the space at the lockers, so you would need to manage your clothes, toiletries, etc very well especially when the luggages fill up the space. The location was the best part of staying at this hotel. Right next to it was a 7-Eleven so you know you’re covered with everything you need. It’s a few minutes walk to the Namba MRT station. It’s very accessible and it’s at the heart of Osaka. A pretty solid 4/5 for me. I will definitely stay again when I solo travel to Osaka!

JJYSLEEThe location was excellent, very close to the subway, and you can take the elevator directly to the hotel. It’s also near Dotonbori, with many attractions within walking distance. The only downside was the check-in time, which is at 5 PM. I also wish there were more pillows, as the ones provided were quite flat and uncomfortable. Additionally, I was surprised to find that the men’s and women’s floors were on the same level. Other than that, the staff were very friendly, and the room was great, with a TV included. The room is spacious and I was able to pack my luggage in the room. The gym was a nice bonus, especially since no one else was using it. I paid 1000 yen for a day pass, which was worth it.

DDarinDarwishThis was not my first hostel experience, and I have to say, I was a bit disappointed. Let’s start with the positive aspects first: The location was absolutely perfect — I don’t think you could find a better place to stay in Namba. Everything was close by, and getting around was very easy. Also, the staff were extremely, extremely friendly, and we received fresh towels every day, which I really appreciated. Now, onto the things that bothered me: First, the cleanliness: It wasn’t really clean. In the showers, there was always a lot of hair and dirt in the gaps where you enter and exit, which was quite unpleasant. During my stay, someone vomited in the public sink area, and it was not cleaned up overnight — it was still there even at 10 a.m. the next morning. Because of that, the house smelled strongly of vomit for a while. That night, and in general, there was often an unpleasant smell in the kitchen area as well. Without wanting to discriminate, I noticed that many older people were staying at the hostel (since apparently there was no age restriction). Some of them would loudly clear their throats and spit phlegm into the sinks, even early in the morning, which was quite disturbing and unhygienic. Another issue was the temperature: The room was extremely hot at night, and since so many people were sleeping in one room, the air became very stuffy. Even inside your capsule, it was uncomfortably warm. One last point: On the day of arrival, the address on Trip.com was wrong, which made it very hard to find the hostel. It took me almost an hour and a half to find it, especially because it was very hidden with no clear signage outside. I really hope that in the future, there will also be an age limit for guests.

Für die, die auf dem Meerestourismus sind, scheint dies ein empfehlenswertes Ort. Es gibt viele bequeme Geschäfte und Restaurants um die Station, obwohl sie erst sehr spät betrieben werden. Aber die Ankunftsverfahren sind schwierig. Ich habe die PDA-Computer gebraucht und die Ankunftsverfahren durchgeführt, aber ich glaube, ich habe diesen Preis bezahlt und reagiert. Die übrigen Wände sind sehr scharf. Wenn die Schlafzimmertür geschlossen ist, schütteln die Wände. Außerdem gab es keine Windschutzscheibe, und als ich die Tür des Badezimmers nach dem Bad öffnete, war das Zimmer dunkel. Da es ein Zimmer ist, das durch das Fenster ist, kann ich die Stimme von außen hören. Es gibt kein Fernsehen im Zimmer. Es gibt ein eigenes WLAN im Zimmer.
