Ich wusste, dass Handtücher 3 Euro kosten, also hatte ich eins dabei. Das Hotel liegt in der Nähe der Plaça Catalunya, die Anbindung ans Stadtzentrum ist also hervorragend. Die Unterkunft ähnelt den Kapselhotels, die man häufig in Japan findet. Da jedoch keine Kleidung für die Kapsel bereitgestellt wird, würde ich sie nicht unbedingt für diejenigen empfehlen, die sehr auf Sauberkeit achten (die Umgebung ist sauber, aber es liegen ein paar Haare herum, deren Herkunft nicht bekannt ist). Der Service war gut und der Aufenthalt insgesamt sehr angenehm. Es gab Obst und Frühstück, was mir gut gefiel. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist unschlagbar.

Ich bin eine Frau in meinen Zwanzigern und reise alleine. Das Zimmer ist ein 8-Personen-Frauenzimmer. Am Bett befindet sich eine Steckdose. Da es keine Vorhänge gab, mussten sich die Personen auf der unteren Koje mit Handtüchern zudecken. Es gibt keine Schließfachschlüssel, bringen Sie also am besten Ihre eigenen mit! Ich habe es vergessen, aber Sie können an der Rezeption Handtücher ausleihen. (Es kostet Geld.) Es scheint auch, dass man sich einen Haartrockner ausleihen kann. Es gibt einen Haartrockner im Zimmer, aber er ist klein, daher denke ich, dass es für Leute mit langen Haaren schwierig sein könnte. Mir ging es total gut! Ich war Ende Mai dort und das Zimmer war heiß, also stelle ich mir vor, dass es im Hochsommer heiß sein muss. Außerdem war es einfach, überall hinzukommen. Toll war, dass ich viele Orte innerhalb von 30 Minuten zu Fuß erreichen konnte. Ich würde es gerne wieder nutzen, wenn ich die Gelegenheit habe, nach Barcelona zu fahren!

Das Personal ist super freundlich und immer hilfsbereit, die Rezeption ist auch nachts besetzt, man kann also immer jemanden erreichen. Es gibt optional ein kleines Frühstück. Das tolle ist, dass man fast direkt neben dem Park Güell wohnt und eine super Aussicht über die Stadt hat. Ganz klare Empfehlung!

The stay was very pleasant at Soul Backpackers. The dormitories were clean and maintained. The common areas were colorful, well-kept, easy to socialise and meet new people. The staff is also courteous and friendly. They are a but pricey coz of proximity to main areas but overall and wonderful stay for few nights!

Das Personal an der Rezeption war sehr enthusiastisch und hilfsbereit; das Zimmer war im Allgemeinen sauber und ordentlich; das einzige Problem war, dass sich die Klimaanlage im Zimmer nicht selbstständig regulieren ließ. In der ersten Nacht gab es keine Klimaanlage und keine Fenster und es war sehr stickig.

There is thief in this hostel! I almost lost my phone but luckily the police find it, it is hide somewhere else in the hostel, but there is no direct evidence to charge that suspect, all the hostel can do is to kick him out. Another Korean women are that lucky as the police couldn’t find her phone at last. The staff are really helpful when dealing with this issue and I really appreciate that. The staff did warn all guest to be careful for their own things and make sure to lock all of them in the locker the night before. The owner of the hostel also offer me help immediately during the whole process. Thank you again. About this hostel, the location is really convenient and with a fair price in the city centre. The kitchen is a bit small but it is acceptable. The shower room is okay for me and the shower room is clean in general. However, for the bed-set & towel you will have to pay 3 euro for it. Else, you can only sleep with a pillow with no bedsheet during your stay. If you pay card & the amount is less than 120 euro, they will charge extra 5% fee. So you better have some cash. Like all the other hostel, you should be aware of your own valuables and lock them up in the locker. Overall, I would recommend this hostel despite the sad incident happen on me.

We recently stayed in a 4-bunk room at this hostel for two nights. Overall, the experience was decent, though there were a few notable drawbacks. Pros:- The locker and bed facilities were excellent, spacious, secure, and more than adequate for four guests. The general service was acceptable, with staff being reasonably responsive and helpful. Cons:- The shower was a major issue. Despite adjusting the temperature lever, it often only produced hot water, which was uncomfortable and frustrating. The air conditioning was inconsistent and, at times, ineffective. In a humid climate, this made the room feel unbearably hot. Unfortunately, opening the window isn’t an option, as it’s linked to the air conditioning system and automatically shuts off when the window is opened. Summary:- While the sleeping arrangements and security features were commendable, the poor shower and unreliable air conditioning significantly impacted our comfort. These are essential amenities, especially in a humid environment, and I hope the hostel addresses them soon.

I love this place; the room is so comfy, they have such a homey vibes and so comforting, after spending time in Barcelona Stadium and Sagrada Familia, I took metro to go to this place which I found it so easy to reach by the metro .Definitely recommend this place for everyone who wants to have a good experience in Barcelona.

The place is clean but the lady in the reception with specs is sarcastic. She expect people to understand her. While she was talking so rude the other guy was laughing. better dont get this kind of people as it will ruin your reputation as you are running a service related business. And sometimes you wont know how a customer can help the business gain good eyeballs.
