Hotels mit Bar in Hermanus

Ein tolles Hotel, zwar etwas steif, aber es hat Stil. Leider etwas veraltet mit den Möbeln. Wir hatten eine Premium Suite, aber die ist auch nicht mehr auf dem neuesten Stand. Sie versuchen mit der Bar etwas Modernes reinzubringen, was aber nicht so ganz klappt. Ein Stilbruch, darum sitzen auch fast keine Leute in der Bar. Lage perfekt und das Essen auch. Had a splendid 2 night stay and wish we could have stayed longer. The staff made us feel so welcome. They are exceptionally polite and well informed on the surrounding area. We were provided with a map full of helpful suggestions, and a thorough introduction to the lodge and all it's facilities upon check-in. The lodge is located right next to Hermanus New Harbour and a few steps from the cliff path, which is well worth the walk. The room was clean, comfortable and spacious. It opens onto a beautiful, well maintained garden area but a few steps from the pool. Breakfast was fantastic (reccommend the Full English!), and a lovely selection of breads, cereals, fruits, cold meats, yogurts etc at the buffet. Truly, no complaints. Would absolutely stay again.

I liked Baleia. Friendly staff and check-in, even when we were a bit late. Rooms were big and had everything needed. Location and breakfast were good. The only downside is that they seem to have run out of hot water due to a big group staying there. Considering the price, not having hot water was not great, imo. Hopefully this won’t be an issue for other guests in the future.
