Hotel Alpana

Hotel is nothing like what you see in picture. Vehicle can go only about a mile close to hotel. Walk to and Drag your bags to a location through the very busy street hard to walk. We paid for 4 rooms but after going to room nobody wanted to stay and take chance getting diseases. What a filthy bed, walls were broken, nonhygienic rooms. They stole our money. We preferred to lose money and going to better hotel last minute. Do not trust rating and tripadvisor.

The food was very tasty, staff was helpful. Mr Rahul was really very humble and helpful. The rooms were good, clean, with uniterrupted hot water. I recommend this place to all looking for a comfortable and affordable stay in Haridwar.

It may seem as a nice hotel based on other reviews, but honestly, it is not that great. It has spacious rooms, clean bathroom/Toilet, but what not great is, dirty linens, broken lights, broken TV units, dead intercom, negligible room service, broken wardrobe, low water stream in taps and showers, ***** with torn out mattresses. They charge you almost double the M.R.P on the product purchased from them and also deny change money(if any) when you pay at the time of check out. They just round off the amount (obviously, up) based on their convenience thinking ‘It is a small amount, it doesn’t matter’, but it is wrong. Also, they don’t provide you with the receipt of the same. I also have videos depicting useless shower and broken lights, but couldn’t upload it.

I had an excellent time here with the family! The food was fantastic, and the staff was exceedingly helpful. The rooms were in great shape as they were clean, and the hot water worked well! I recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and affordable stay in Haridwar!

Amazing experience of luxury at very affordable price with an excellent location. Best part about this property is it’s location, it’s right at the center of main market. Very welcoming staff with all possible services. Overall I would rate this property 10/10.

We stayed in this hotel with family...the rooms are big and very neat and clean including linen and washrooms..the staff is very helpful and courteous with smile...the food quality was also amazing.. would love to come again soon and highly recommend!!!

Hôtel extremely well located : you have to walk a bit but you’ll end up near the « market » streets & the places to visit. Really nice staff, i recommend. Clean, hot water, good food, nice hotel for a stay in Haridwar. Rooms are big and suitable for 2 or even more if they add a bed!

The ***agement was excellent, their reception was great. They have a good restaurant too

Stayed here for two nights in Oct 2022 and we were disappointed. However, there are some positives: 1. Clean and fresh linen 2. Large spacious rooms 3. Reasonably clean premise Now the cons: 1. It is located in a crowded marketplace where four-wheelers are not allowed. If you have a lot of suitcases, you are in trouble. 2. The front desk staff does not care about their customers (maybe, they get too ***y of them because of their location being close to Har Ki Paudi ghat). They seem to treat all guests with contempt (they did this with me, and I observed this with others too). Be prepared to live with this indifference. 3. The room service definitely can improve. We avoided ordering food from there due to high prices, but then on our last day of stay, at 6:50 am I called up asking for two cups of tea and I was told that nobody was around to make tea. So, I waited and called again at 7:45 am and then the guy asked, "do you want less sugar or more sugar in your tea?", to which, I said, "less sugar". Finally, the tea arrived at 8:30 am and the serving person had an excuse too - the restaurant had no milk! Well, it did not occur to them to tell me that earlier. And yes, the tea had excessive sugar! 4. And you guessed it right, they don't provide a simple electric kettle in the room. 5. The TV seems to provide only Amazon Prime, SonyLiv, and YouTube. Normal channels were missing! 6. The hot water supply in the bathroom was erratic - it would suddenly turn from hot to cold water. Overall, a frustrating experience! Avoid, if you can.
