The clerk on duty had very limited English, but with her translator, we were able to communicate. When I checked in on Feb. 4, she said the room had no hot water, so she was upgrading it at no cost. However, the next morning, there was no hot water. She showed me there was wifi I could use, but that choice did not show up on my phone or laptop. While there was no elevator, I didn't have that far to go. When my tour guide dropped me off on Feb. 5 that night, he asked her if there was hot water, but she said no. It did have good points. The bed was comfortable, and the room was clean and cozy. There were a number of restaurants along that row, and the food was tasty and economical. There were a couple of grocery stores on that row. It was near major shopping such as a Wanda. It was economically priced. I chose it because it was close to the Harbin West Railway Station that I was able to walk to in 20 minutes.
