Über Silvester nicht empfehlenswert, da Restaurants und Bar Bereich im Hotel geschlossen war. Nur Frühstück gegen Aufpreis stand zur Verfügung. Kaffee, Tee und Cookies stand Kostenlos im Wohnzimmer zur Verfügung. Zimmer sehr hellhörig und sehr kalt, wenn man die Heizung aufgedreht hat wurde es zwar warm aber im Bad blieb es kalt, da keine Heizung im Badezimmer vorhanden.

Direkt mit dem Hotel verbunden…und dennoch von einander getrennt 🙃ist eine Schule für Gastronomie/Restaurantbetrieb.
Ein absoluter Knaller‼️Man kann ALLES von der Karte bestellen für 39€..Man kann von17:00-21:00 auswählen …von montags bis donnerstags…und dann noch dieses tolle Ambiente ‼️

Fantastic hotel. Loved the decor and the staff were all really helpful. Used the coffee lounge and rented the bikes. Def recommend if you like a boutique hotel

An absolutely perfect place for a stay in the Amsterdam area, just a few minutes walk to the train station (15-20min ride to Ams Centraal). It’s also perfect for Haarlem, about 5min walk to the city center and the main square with St Bavo’s Church. A laundromat is on the parallel street. The staff are wonderful and the spacious rooms have a unique and glam feel. Extra plugs conveniently placed around the room. The complimentary coffee machine in the shared ‘living room’ is first class, with cookies and fruit provided. Useful digital guides via QR Code to Haarlem spots. An absolute gem of a place - I’m looking forward to my next stay!

We loved staying in this old building! they created a wonderful atmosphere updated the room and kept the feel of the building. Very welcoming staff. The location is amazing close to the train station and all local attractions.

A lovely few days at the hotel. Breakfast was a very good selection with fresh cooked options available. Loved the living room arrangement. Fine for a rest before facing the stairs. The lack of a lift in the hotel was its only downside for us. I couldn't complete a review of this hotel without using the word Quirky, in a good way. Staff were always available and helpful and a great location for visiting Haarlem.

Hotel Staats is not only luxurious but also offers a gorgeous interiour with a lot of eye for detail. The atmosphere is very relaxed, with those working at the hotel going about their work in a calm manner, it isn't loud at all and very effective. The whole process from check-in to check-out was easy. The room we upgraded to (presidential suite) was very nice with a comfortable bed, separate seating area and all in all a real experience. We ate in De Ripper restaurant on our first night, a restaurant that offers educational/work opportunities for young people. The whole evening was excellent, food, service and atmosphere, it all was very good and a must do for anyone staying in or nearby (but why not stay at Staats?). A special mention for Amber (who served dessert) and looks forward to travelling (dont forget to go to Cardiff!) and to the early team that did breakfast. It was lovely, made to order omelettes and a lovely selection of breads and other items.

This is definitely a unique, cute hotel. We picked it because it looked like it had a small, cozy bar & restaurant and were disappointed to learn that neither were opened the night we arrived. It would have been helpful if this was posted on the website. Parking was also somewhat of an issue and the person working was not very well informed about the options. We arrived at night in a rain storm so this might have clouded our thoughts
