I love my stay here in the social hub, recommend everyone esp for solo female traveller! Pros - good location next to tram station (very impt) - theres a cafe inside the hotel which is a gd place for breakfast and hotel - thankyou maria for helping me check-in, she was the only staff in the hotel who showed great hospitality and kindness which made my stay confortable - 24/7 gym! But air ventilation has room for improvement - the rooftop area was so big, with good vibes good views and a bar. (Pool was not available during my stay) - room was clean and well furnished

Great Hotel. Excellent location and accessible to most attractions. Pleasant check-in and can state that all staff were extremely nice and helpful. Amazing room provided (complementary upgrade). Kitchenette with sitting area, large bedroom with comfortable bed and pillows. Large bathroom with a massive spa bath. I would highly recommend staying at this hotel.

The hotel is conveniently located near the central station. But the street is too narrow and noisy when there were traffic. The staff are not friendly nor helpful. The only time you feel you are welcome was you booked tours through them. The breakfast room is small and in the basement. There is no view throughout the whole hotel.

Schon beim Betreten des Hotels war ich von seinem Design begeistert. Vor der Hotellobby stehen vier Schaukeln – keine Dekoration, sondern echte Schaukeln. Die Lobby präsentiert sich in schlichtem Stil. Das Hotelpersonal ist sehr höflich und freundlich und nimmt das Gepäck gerne vor dem Check-in in Empfang. Das Zimmer ist sauber und hell, hat einen hohen Boden und eine sehr bequeme Matratze. Die Zimmer werden täglich gereinigt. Das Hotel stellt täglich zwei Kartons Wasserflaschen zur Verfügung, und die Kaffeekapseln sind sehr sparsam. Im obersten Stockwerk des Hotels befinden sich ein Swimmingpool und eine Bar. Es ist wirklich entspannend, in der Bar zu sitzen und den Blick auf Florenz bei Nacht zu genießen. Das Hotel ist etwa 15 Minuten vom Bahnhof entfernt und befindet sich in unmittelbarer Nähe aller Sehenswürdigkeiten. Zu Fuß dauert es etwa 10 bis 15 Minuten, mit Ausnahme der Busfahrt zur Piazza Michelangelo.

Wir hatten ein Dreierzimmer im Nebengebäude gebucht. Unser Gepäck mussten wir in den 2. Stock tragen. Es war sauber und groß! Das Hotelfrühstück ist lecker, abwechslungsreich und es gibt einen Parkplatz zum Selbstfahrerparken, der 25 Euro pro Tag kostet

Die Lage ist günstig, nur 5 Gehminuten vom Bahnhof entfernt, und angenehm ruhig. Mein Zimmer hatte einen kleinen Balkon. Allerdings muss ich sagen, dass ich als neu eröffnetes Hotel der IHG-Gruppe sehr enttäuscht war. Zuerst fand ich einen gebrauchten Verband an meinem angeblich sauberen Handtuch, und das Badezimmer war schlecht gestaltet. Durch die halbhohe Duschwand spritzte beim Duschen garantiert das Wasser überall hin, egal wie vorsichtig man war. Das Hotel und das Zimmer sind zwar stilvoll, aber für ein erst zwei Jahre altes Hotel (laut Internet wurde es 2023 eröffnet) ist das Badezimmer schlecht instand gehalten: ein kaputter, provisorisch reparierter Wasserhahn, Rost und Flecken überall. Ich vermute, das liegt an der minderwertigen Materialauswahl bei der Gestaltung. Dadurch wirkt das Hotel wie 20 Jahre alt. Am ersten Morgen frühstückte ich sehr früh. Es war angenehm ruhig, und das Angebot war gut, sowohl geschmacklich als auch qualitativ. Am zweiten Morgen, als ich gegen 9 Uhr dort war, waren die Tische nicht abgeräumt und die Rösti steinhart. Wir sahen auch andere Gäste, die Speisen aßen, die nicht im Buffet waren. Deshalb fragte ich das Personal nach Alternativen. Erst dann erfuhren wir, dass jeder Gast kostenlos ein Gericht à la carte bestellen kann. Wir waren darüber nicht informiert worden, und ich finde, Gäste sollten wissen, dass sie Wahlmöglichkeiten haben. Ich vermute, so werden Touristen behandelt … oder eben Asiaten. Wenn Sie also hier übernachten, fragen Sie unbedingt nach der Speisekarte, falls Sie Alternativen zum Frühstück wünschen.

The apartment is clean and equipped with everything you need. The bed is comfortable, the room is spacious. The check-in instructions were clear. The noise from the street was disturbing. Even with the window closed, you can hear the sound of every passing tram. It is no coincidence that earplugs were prepared, although they cannot improve the vibration caused by the passing tram much. And a personal note. In my previous booking, at other accommodations, the host's communication - despite the fact that there is no personal meeting - usually includes some kindness and personal attention. This was not the case here, although it would have been nice.

From the moment I arrived, they were friendly, professional, and attentive. They were always ready to assist with any queries or requests I had, and their local knowledge and recommendations were invaluable in helping me navigate the city and discover hidden gems. My room at the hotel was spacious and well-appointed. The bed was comfortable, and the room amenities, including a flat-screen TV and minibar, met my expectations. The cleanliness and tidiness of the room were maintained throughout my stay, thanks to the diligent housekeeping staff. While the hotel does not have an on-site restaurant, it does offer a delicious breakfast buffet each morning. The breakfast spread was varied and catered to different tastes and dietary preferences. I particularly enjoyed the freshly baked pastries and the selection of local cheeses and cured meats. One minor drawback was the absence of a fitness center or spa facilities within the hotel. However, the staff was helpful in providing information about nearby fitness centers and wellness options, ensuring that guests have access to these amenities if desired. In summary, my stay at the Anglo American Hotel Florence was a delightful experience. The prime location, attentive staff, and comfortable accommodations contributed to a memorable visit to this beautiful city. While the absence of certain amenities was a minor drawback, it did not significantly impact my overall satisfaction with the hotel. I would recommend the Anglo American Hotel to travelers seeking a centrally located, well-appointed hotel with a charming ambiance in Florence.

I was there with my wife for 7 days-6 nights. The location is great, we used it as a base for our daily trips by car. The Apartment was ok, the water in the bathroom sink couldnt go throught fast, which was not that nice. The reception in the night shaft was very kind and friendly. The reception in the day shaft was very uncomfortable, he discussed every single word you said and never try to solve your problems in an easy way. As we checked in, the night shaft told us after we have asked that we could get 1 time free cleaning cause we are staying for 7 days. I told the day reception one day before, and the day after we called and asked when they are comming? The answers were like you are asking a politician why he lost in his elections. Welllll we dont knoww, maybe 10, maybe 3pm, we said sir we want to go out, we dont want to do that before we close our door and be sure that no body is comming. Again he started to philosophize every single explanation. Alot of other examples. In general, the employee can be a problem solver, or making it more complicated. Te kind thing was that i asked him to print me two papers, he did (after telling me to go to the website and search for their email during he has a business card in his hands). The breakfast for extra 12 euro per person was not good, unhealthy, and very very simple and cheap. Not even a fresh juice (juice machine full with sugar instead). First day not any kind of egg, we asked why, they said it is sunday we didnt get egg! Only mini croissants, mini butter, jam, toast, bread, little of salad leaves, if you dont catch the first dish of fresh tomato, you will not see it again. I would not pay more than 5 euro for this breakfast. The place itself was very calm, green, big, and beautiful. It is on the top of the mountain, you have a wonderful restaurant nearby, nice area to walk throught. Good connected to the highway (8-10 minutes to the highway). The gym was very old and neglected. The pool was closed as we we were there.
