A Hidden Gem in Tuscany – Truly Special We absolutely loved our stay at I Parigi Corbinelli Residenze. This place is truly something special. The residence itself is a charming historic property that has been passed down through generations since the 1500s, and you can feel that beautiful sense of heritage the moment you arrive. The entire compound is incredibly gorgeous, peaceful, and full of character — it feels like a private Tuscan retreat. We arrived later than the official check-in time, but the owner was extremely kind and welcoming. He even called his son to come and help check us in despite the late hour. That level of hospitality really touched us. Our room was very spacious, comfortable, and well equipped. The hot water was excellent, the heating system worked perfectly, and we had a beautiful terrace to enjoy the surroundings. Everything felt cozy yet elegant. One of the highlights is the garden and breakfast area. Breakfast is simple but perfect — everything you need for a wonderful start to the day, and enjoying it while looking out over the peaceful garden made the morning feel magical. Another big plus is the very safe parking inside the property, which gave us great peace of mind while traveling. Honestly, the value for money here is incredible. The price they charge is almost underrated for such a beautiful place — it truly deserves more recognition. We also loved that there is a resident dog who played with our dog, which made the stay even more special for us. If our itinerary hadn’t been so packed, we would absolutely have stayed another night. This place is the perfect Tuscan getaway, and we will definitely return next time we are in the area. Die Lage des Hotels ist hervorragend, der Fußgang kann zur Blumenkirche kommen. Die Einrichtungen im Geschäft sind neu und umfassend, die Gesamtdekoration ist reichhaltig und die Atmosphäre ist reichhaltig. Das Frühstück ist großartig und der Servicepersonal ist enthusiastisch und freundlich, die Reiseerlebnis ist komfortabel und es wird empfohlen, zu bleiben.

My experience here was mostly positive, and while there were a few minor issues, I could tell that the staff genuinely does their best to run the villa as smoothly as possible. Check-in & First Impressions The first thing to note is that the villa is designed to work with automated check-in processes, which is great for most travelers. However, it could be better explained to future guests to avoid any confusion. Not everyone will have a working phone or data plan when they arrive in Italy, and it’s important for the villa to have a backup plan in case guests are unable to connect. One simple suggestion would be to provide Wi-Fi access at the entrance of the villa and share the network name and password with guests before their arrival. This would make it easier for everyone to access the automated system without any issues. Room & Comfort I stayed in the Deluxe Suite, located on the first floor of a three-story villa, right next to the breakfast room. At first, I was concerned about noise, but the thick, heavy door completely blocked any sounds from the breakfast area. I never heard a thing in the morning. The room has blackout curtains that provide great privacy and darkness, which I really appreciated. The bathroom was newly renovated with luxury finishes, including stone walls that give it a high-end feel. The room was clean, and the daily housekeeping service kept everything spotless, with fresh towels replaced daily. One of the standout features of Villa Tortorelli is Karen, the person in charge of breakfast service and housekeeping. She is incredibly attentive and hardworking. She ensures that guests are well taken care of, and the breakfast is always well-prepared and served hot. Honestly, if they lose Karen, the villa would lose two stars in reviews. She is one of their greatest assets. Breakfast Experience The breakfast service was excellent. The food is prepared fresh every morning, and Karen makes sure there is always a variety of hot and cold options available. The breakfast room is cozy and inviting, with plenty of choices to start your day off right. The Villa’s Atmosphere & Location The villa is peaceful and surrounded by greenery, making it a relaxing place to stay. It’s also within walking distance of all the major tourist attractions in Florence, which makes it very convenient for exploring the city. One Minor Issue The only negative point during my stay was that the room felt quite cold when I first arrived. However, I reached out to the WhatsApp help service, and the heating system was adjusted quickly. Within a short time, the room felt much warmer and more comfortable. Final Thoughts Overall, Villa Tortorelli is a great option for those looking for a peaceful, well-located stay in Florence. The automated check-in system could use some improvement to avoid any potential issues for guests without a data plan, but aside from that, the rooms are clean and comfortable, the breakfast is excellent, and the staff is very attentive. Would I stay here again? Yes, especially for Karen’s service and the peaceful villa atmosphere!

The hotel is conveniently located near the central station. But the street is too narrow and noisy when there were traffic. The staff are not friendly nor helpful. The only time you feel you are welcome was you booked tours through them. The breakfast room is small and in the basement. There is no view throughout the whole hotel.

Allerdings muss ich sagen, dass ich als neu eröffnetes Hotel der IHG-Gruppe sehr enttäuscht war. Zuerst fand ich einen gebrauchten Verband an meinem angeblich sauberen Handtuch, und das Badezimmer war schlecht gestaltet. Durch die halbhohe Duschwand spritzte beim Duschen garantiert das Wasser überall hin, egal wie vorsichtig man war. Das Hotel und das Zimmer sind zwar stilvoll, aber für ein erst zwei Jahre altes Hotel (laut Internet wurde es 2023 eröffnet) ist das Badezimmer schlecht instand gehalten: ein kaputter, provisorisch reparierter Wasserhahn, Rost und Flecken überall. Ich vermute, das liegt an der minderwertigen Materialauswahl bei der Gestaltung. Dadurch wirkt das Hotel wie 20 Jahre alt. Am ersten Morgen frühstückte ich sehr früh. Es war angenehm ruhig, und das Angebot war gut, sowohl geschmacklich als auch qualitativ. Am zweiten Morgen, als ich gegen 9 Uhr dort war, waren die Tische nicht abgeräumt und die Rösti steinhart. Wir sahen auch andere Gäste, die Speisen aßen, die nicht im Buffet waren. Deshalb fragte ich das Personal nach Alternativen. Erst dann erfuhren wir, dass jeder Gast kostenlos ein Gericht à la carte bestellen kann. Wir waren darüber nicht informiert worden, und ich finde, Gäste sollten wissen, dass sie Wahlmöglichkeiten haben. Ich vermute, so werden Touristen behandelt … oder eben Asiaten. Wenn Sie also hier übernachten, fragen Sie unbedingt nach der Speisekarte, falls Sie Alternativen zum Frühstück wünschen.

Der Pool ist sauber, das Parken ist kostenlos und der hoteleigene Supermarkt bietet frisches Obst. Ladekabel und Adapter stehen für Notfälle bereit. Die Zimmer sind zwar einfach ausgestattet, aber sehr sauber. Die Duschköpfe haben einen kräftigen Wasserdruck. Das Frühstücksrestaurant bietet ein angenehmes Ambiente und eine gute Auswahl. Wenn Sie ein Zimmer mit Küche buchen, brauchen Sie kein Frühstück zu bestellen; der Supermarkt bietet alle Zutaten, um selbst zu kochen. Besonders hervorzuheben ist das äußerst hilfsbereite Personal an der Rezeption. Mein Gepäck wurde versehentlich vom Fahrer an das falsche Hotel geliefert, und der Rezeptionist half mir, es abzuholen und auf mein Zimmer zu bringen. Vielen Dank! Um ins Stadtzentrum zu gelangen, müssen Sie den Bus nehmen. Die Busse sind sehr praktisch; sie halten direkt vor der Tür. Der Ort ist recht klein, sodass Sie nicht jeden Tag ins Stadtzentrum fahren müssen. Es kommt auf Ihren Zeitplan an. Für Personen mit besonderen Bedürfnissen ist die Anlage möglicherweise nicht geeignet. Die Busse fahren von morgens bis abends, wochentags häufiger und an Feiertagen seltener. Es gibt auch eine Haltestelle in der Nähe des Bahnhofs. Fahrkarten sind an der Rezeption erhältlich. Bitte beachten Sie, dass Sie Ihre Fahrkarte nach dem Einsteigen aktivieren müssen. Bei Gruppentickets aktivieren Sie bitte pro Person eine Fahrkarte. Der Fahrer kontrolliert dies nicht, aber jemand steigt während der Fahrt ein, um die Fahrkarten zu kontrollieren. Jeden Abend saß ich im kleinen Innenhof vor meinem Zimmer. Es war sehr gemütlich. Selbst Ende Mai habe ich keine Mücken gesehen. Der Nachteil ist, dass die Zimmer nicht besonders gut schallisoliert sind. Wir haben fünf Nächte dort verbracht, und es war im Großen und Ganzen in Ordnung, bis auf eine Nacht, als die ausländischen Nachbarn sehr spät zurückkamen und wir sie deutlich hören konnten. Bei der Buchung können Sie eine ruhigere Gegend angeben. Absolut empfehlenswert! Ich teile diese Informationen gerne mit Ihnen.

The hotel design is very traditional and beautiful. Room is very clean and very comfortable with design ! Breakfast was superb in terms of Europe standard. Staffs are super friendly and helpful during the stay and we hope we will stay at this hotel soon.

I was there with my wife for 7 days-6 nights. The location is great, we used it as a base for our daily trips by car. The Apartment was ok, the water in the bathroom sink couldnt go throught fast, which was not that nice. The reception in the night shaft was very kind and friendly. The reception in the day shaft was very uncomfortable, he discussed every single word you said and never try to solve your problems in an easy way. As we checked in, the night shaft told us after we have asked that we could get 1 time free cleaning cause we are staying for 7 days. I told the day reception one day before, and the day after we called and asked when they are comming? The answers were like you are asking a politician why he lost in his elections. Welllll we dont knoww, maybe 10, maybe 3pm, we said sir we want to go out, we dont want to do that before we close our door and be sure that no body is comming. Again he started to philosophize every single explanation. Alot of other examples. In general, the employee can be a problem solver, or making it more complicated. Te kind thing was that i asked him to print me two papers, he did (after telling me to go to the website and search for their email during he has a business card in his hands). The breakfast for extra 12 euro per person was not good, unhealthy, and very very simple and cheap. Not even a fresh juice (juice machine full with sugar instead). First day not any kind of egg, we asked why, they said it is sunday we didnt get egg! Only mini croissants, mini butter, jam, toast, bread, little of salad leaves, if you dont catch the first dish of fresh tomato, you will not see it again. I would not pay more than 5 euro for this breakfast. The place itself was very calm, green, big, and beautiful. It is on the top of the mountain, you have a wonderful restaurant nearby, nice area to walk throught. Good connected to the highway (8-10 minutes to the highway). The gym was very old and neglected. The pool was closed as we we were there.
