Room cleanliness and air conditioning were good. Beds were comfy. Breakfast was simple but good in quality. However the breakfast queue was long and food replenishment was not done in pace with the flow, ended up in a long queue not moving as people stayed in the front of the queue stayed in the queue waiting for replenishment. The dinning space was insufficient that could not accommodate the big crowd. We ran into issue setting up the sofa bed. Calling the front desk asking for assistance we were stunned by a reply saying they would not send staff to help but urging us to try for another attempts and kept reassuring us the sofa bed operation was simple and easy. Finally we got that sorted out with help from other hotel customers.. A major disappointment that totally ruined my experience with the hotel was the way my enquiry was handled towards an unknown charge after I checked out. In the check out bill, it was just a charge billed to my credit card without indicating what service or item I was billed for. While my family did not order or buy anything at all from the hotel and we were in a rush, I did not check the bill upon check out until 5 days later I saw it in my credit card account. I sent an email to the hotel reservation (that was the only email channel I found from the hotel home page) to enquire about the charge and no reply was received ever towards my enquiry and that's what I was hit. Although the unknown charge was refunded after another week, I did not feel good with the way they work. I frankly accept mistakes made by the front desk or the account team for incorrect bill, but I do not accept ignorance and zero communication from the backend on my enquiry. This is something the hotel should improve.

Alles war super, besonders die Dame an der Rezeption war fantastisch. Sie hat uns geholfen, als wir ein Problem mit dem Türschloss unseres Zimmers hatten. Wir haben alles versucht, aber es ging einfach nicht auf – ich vermute, die Batterie war leer. Sie war sehr hilfsbereit. Wenn ich wieder nach Ottawa komme, würde ich auf jeden Fall wieder in diesem Hotel übernachten. Ihr Name ist Navneet. Ich würde ihr am liebsten zehn Sterne geben. Danke, Navneet!

Great stay. Central location downtown. Comfortable bed and pillows. Felt relaxed and revitalized. Room as upgraded at check in by the receptionist so that was a bonus!

I've stayed at this hotel several times now; I enjoy how clean, quiet, and nicely decorated the suites and the hotel itself are! The bathrooms are beautiful, very clean, and well-appointed, as are the rooms themselves. Very pleased and will stay here again when my travels take me through this area once more.

We stayed at the hotel for 6 nights, they had issues checking us in as the booking was made through trip.com which went through *******. Somehow they figured it out later. The room was spacious, clean. They provided room services every day except for one day when they were understaffed. Shower has only half door so be ready for some splashes. I recommend bringing your own body wash (they provide soap which is hard to wash off) and shampoo. People who can't sleep with noise in the room, should consider their options. Air conditioning is super loud (like factory machine) , it constantly woke us up at night, there is no option to open a window instead. Breakfasts are always the same, not a single thing changes: fried/boiled eggs, sausages, pork?cutlets, pancakes, apples, oatmeal, bread. The dining room was always overcrowded, the space should be at least twice as big. Sometimes we came and there was no food, so we had to wait for someone to come and bring food (they don't have a person there on a regular basis). I can't say our experience was bad, but it was not great either.

Location & Accessibility The hotel is perfectly situated near the central business district and major transit hubs, making it ideal for both meetings and sightseeing. Room & Amenities The room was modern, impeccably clean, and featured high-quality bedding that ensured a restful sleep. The fitness center and pool were well-maintained with an efficient layout. Dining & Service The breakfast buffet offered a great variety of fresh options with prompt service. Most importantly, the staff provided professional and attentive hospitality from check-in to departure. Verdict A well-balanced hotel offering consistent quality and a productive environment. Highly recommended for business travelers.

The location is unbeatable! Situated in the heart of downtown, it's just a short walk to ByWard Market, the Rideau Centre, and Parliament Hill, making it the perfect base for exploring Winterlude. The stay was excellent. While the underground parking entrance is a bit tucked away on Daly Avenue, the unlimited in/out privileges are a huge plus for road trippers. The rooms are spacious, clean, and modern. My only minor critique is the 6”parking height restriction, which might be tight for large Suvs. Overall, a high-quality, convenient choice for any Ottawa visit

Ich hatte von Glö mehr erwartet als ich bekam. Ich habe Glö als ”Behandlung” für ein paar Getaway gewählt, da es ein neueres Hotel war und es scheint, dass es schnacker als der übliche Preis sein würde. Pros: Das Badezimmer war sehr schön, und die komplimentären Toiletten sind Top-Noch. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber. Die Matratze war sehr komfortabel und der TV war eine anständige Größe. Kons: Die Zimmer sind unglaublich klein, und während sie schön eingerichtet sind, war der kleine ”Schlaf” Sitz mehr Form als Funktion (d. h. schöner als es bequem war). Das Personal des Front-Desk sah sehr neu und kluger aus, was die grundlegenden Gastfreundschaftselemente, wie wie das Innen-TV zu arbeiten. Es dauerte auch Zeit für eine Antwort des Front-Desk auf wie das TV zu arbeiten und das Problem wurde nicht einmal gelöst. Ich werde wahrscheinlich nicht mehr hier bleiben und empfehle dieses Hotel an jemanden, den ich kenne, da es so viele Hotels gibt, aus denen man in Kanata wählen kann, die bessere, bessere Service und bessere Preisgestaltung bieten.

Wo soll ich anfangen… Zunächst einmal: Bei meiner Buchung wurde mit keinem Wort erwähnt, dass täglich ab 7 Uhr morgens schwere Bauarbeiten stattfinden würden. Natürlich wurde mir beim Einchecken mitgeteilt, dass direkt nebenan intensive Bauarbeiten im Gange seien. Und ja, es war wirklich schlimm. Ich hatte dieses Hotel auch ausdrücklich gebucht, weil es die Option gab, jetzt zu reservieren und erst im Hotel zu bezahlen. Hier einige Zitate aus meiner Buchungsbestätigung: „Sie müssen beim Einchecken im Andaz Ottawa Byward Market, by Hyatt bezahlen“, „Ihre Zahlung wird vom Andaz Ottawa Byward Market, by Hyatt abgewickelt“ und „Zahlung im Hotel“. Und tatsächlich: Ich komme an, und das Geld war bereits von meiner Kreditkarte abgebucht, sodass ich beim Einchecken nichts mehr bezahlen musste. (Das ist wichtig für die Abrechnung in meiner Firma.) Zu guter Letzt wurde mir beim Einchecken gesagt, dass der Reinigungsservice alle drei Tage kommt – damit war ich einverstanden. Gleich am ersten Tag kam ich nach einem langen Tag in mein Zimmer zurück und fand es gereinigt vor. Die Handtücher waren gewechselt, der wenige Müll weggeräumt usw. – darauf war ich überhaupt nicht vorbereitet, da mir das Gegenteil gesagt worden war. Es war mir extrem unangenehm, weil meine ganzen Sachen im Zimmer herumlagen. Ich hatte nicht mit einem Zimmerservice gerechnet, da mir gesagt wurde, dass erst ab dem dritten Tag ein Zimmerservice kommen würde. Ehrlich gesagt, fand ich das als Alleinreisende ziemlich beunruhigend. Die Angestellten entschuldigten sich zwar, aber ihre Erklärung reichte mir überhaupt nicht. (Die Hausdame und der Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption widersprachen sich komplett.) Insgesamt ein ziemlich chaotischer Aufenthalt. Ach ja, und die Heizung in meinem Zimmer funktionierte nicht. Ich musste einen Heizlüfter anfordern … echt jetzt?

Großer Ort, um schön zu bleiben und sauber nicht weit von der Stadt entfernt . Privater Parkplatz und Zimmer für 3 Personen war groß mit einer großen Küche. Ich empfehle es definitiv. Preis ist auch erschwinglich.
