The food and atmosphere were great. The service was so so and I would have given 5 stars, but everywhere else we went gratuity was built on to the check. Here they had gratuity on the check, but waitress said that was for the host and we needed to tip another 15% on top of that. Kind of left a bad taste in my mouth. So beware of that. But otherwise was good.

Fantastic food and warm hospitality. We ate there 2 times at the recommendation of a local on our way back from fishing. Great chicken sand, grouper fingers, hamburger, wings and fantastic sweet potato fries. Do not forget the run cake. You’ll never be the same. The staff is warm and friendly and they treat you like a regular. One of the absolute best meals we had.

Daddy Joe's was the perfect low-key spot for us, centrally located on Eleuthera - very close to both the dramatic Atlantic and calmer Carribean beaches, including the island's best walk-in snorkeling spots. An easy drive north for a fun day in Harbor Island's quaint town. The owner and staff at Daddy's Joe's were so accommodating and their restaurant had a varied, reasonably priced menu with specials and some nights with talented live music. A great relaxing week there.

First time in Eleuthera! Glad we pick this place to stay for 4nights. Tiffany went above and beyond to make sure we are enjoying our stay. Our first time in Bahamas. We skipped right over Nassau and went to the more secluded island ELEUTHERA. Stayed at Daddy Joes for one week and couldn’t have picked a better location, vibe, beach, eatery, chill spot, hostess. Tiffany and her family are in business to take care of your every need. The rooms are cozy w/ ample AC, the bed is by far one of the comfiest we have ever slept in, the most beautiful quiet beach is a 5 minute walk across the street, glass window is a 5 minute drive, food and drinks are strong, cold and very delicious. Sandra cooks up mouth watering, very tasty hearty meals. Everything is FRESH and bursting with flavor. A few evenings during the week the property closes to it’s guest only entertainment with games, food, music, drinks and best of all getting to know other guests. The island is 110 miles long so to cover the whole island takes time. When on this island, you have to chill out and adjust to the “island time”, things move A LOT slower then most places. The service on the entire island is particularly slow **so please be mind full as I watched several other tourist get worked up over this minor detail. The only main road in ELEUTHERA has only two lanes, no lights and pot holes. Be off the road come night fall. Relax, take it all in, and enjoy the island vibe.

The fritters were good. Had a burger and salad, fried shrimp and chips. Wish there were more choices, maybe pasta or pizza. Waitress was friendly and restaurant was inviting. Noticed all restaurants add a tip. What if the server wasn't good? They're still getting a tip?

Rooms spotlessly clean, staff friendly and always ready to share a laugh Pool table, restaurant and bar popular with locals and visitors lucky enough to find this island gem. The best Bahama Mama you won't find elsewhere What a great place!If your nearby, make it a point to go there. Very relaxed, very Bahamas!

A giant thank you to Tiffany and her lovely family and exceptional staff At Daddy Joe’s! My stay was absolutely perfect. Loved my room with the comfiest bed on the planet; loved all the special touches and personal assistance that made every day fun for me as a solo traveler (car rental and boat adventure reservation just to start); the food and drinks were delicious (I’m hooked on the Daddy Joe burger omg); the location across from Gaulding Cay was a huge bonus…I can’t wait to return! Thank you all!
