Centrally located, short walk to Penang Rd & local hawker stalls. Also, near to Chowrasta market, where you can eat locally for breakfast & lunch, buy fresh fruits etc.. Hotel is very clean with ac, hot showers & comfy bed. Nice decor.

Good location - walking distance to food and sights. Nice aesthetics too with details to furnishing. Aircon is also strong. However, there is little sound proofing and it can get noisy whenever cars or motorbikes drives by. There is also a nearby bar that plays music past midnight. The water drainage in the shower was also a little slow and I had to pause my shower so that the water would not pool. Some of the floorboards were creaky too.

Location is in the middle of George Town, walking distance to the tourist spots and nice food. Staffs are very friendly and helpful.

Great location. Walking distance to many areas including Little India. Lots of bars on Chulia st. Beautiful decor. Beds are firm. Temporary luggage storage available (hours). Breakfast includes: scrambled eggs, chicken sausage, rice and sambal, assortment of fried snacks, yogurt, tea, coffee, orange juice. Staff are really nice and helpful.

The hotel has a very good location in Georgetown and easily accessible to all places of interest. Nice n cozy vibe to rest and relax in. It comes with double-pane glass to minimize road or outside environmental noise n you will still hear a bit of sound from the mosque nearby but it has been greatly reduced and you won’t noticed it if you are asleep.. tv channels a bit limited and no smart tv for u to use YouTube or Netflix. Receptionist Thara is very helpful and speaks fluent English.

Very good location in the walking distance to many attractions, restaurants, Kimberry street food & Chulia street. Very friendly staffs.

fantastic experience, the people so welcoming and warm. room is abit small but cosy for the 3 of us! location is awesome as it is near to many famous eateries as well as michelin guide food as well! water pressure was good too!

Fantastic hotel! The room is comfortable and cozy. Their breakfast is nice. The yard is small but beautiful. I will rebook this hotel again every time when I come to Penang!

Small hotel with 8 rooms, in Chinese style. Reception was great, gave maps and tips. Bedroom very cozy. Good location, walking distance to most of places to visit. Simple breakfast yogurt, orange juice, coffe and tea, toast, scramble eggs and some typical food (sweet and savory).

pretty heritage hotel decked with old school furnishings. the daily breakfast repeats itself, with buffet style scrambled eggs, ham, sausages, broccoli, prata and curry and some kueh. decent but it's more worth it to go out and have roti bakar and eggs penang style. was a little disappointed with the "garden suite", I mean, when named this way, you'd expect a larger room and a proper garden like open space outside, but it's just a small space filled with weeds for guests to smoke I suppose. didn't spend a second out in the "garden", there's only a small square for a person to stand and presumably smoke. service is great, constantly being greeted hi and bye. the location is excellent, with some reputable coffee shops around, a 10 min walk to the more bustling areas like Armenian street.

Nice place for those who want to try something different apart from modern hotel. near to all good food. Clean room. Very friendly and approachable staffs. Highly recommended.
