Das Hotel Next in Funchal auf Madeira überzeugt durch seine ausgezeichnete Lage direkt am Wasser. Die Zimmer, obwohl geräumig, neigen dazu, aufgrund ihrer Dunkelheit eine etwas gedämpfte Atmosphäre zu schaffen. Trotzdem punktet das Hotel mit komfortablen Betten, moderner Einrichtung und ansprechenden Badezimmern. Das Frühstück, serviert in einer Art Kantine, weist eine begrenzte Auswahl auf und die Qualität könnte verbessert werden. Ein Highlight ist jedoch der Beach Club am Wasser, der, obwohl ohne Strand, mit einem Pool und direktem Zugang zum Meer über einen Steg positiv hervorsticht.

Das Hotel Quinta Da Penha De Franca befindet sich in seinem eigenen Komplex und befindet sich auf dem Hügel von seinem Schwesterhotel Quinta Penha de Franca Mar. Sie können auch die Einrichtungen in Quinta Penha de Franca Mar nutzen. Beide sind durch eine private Brücke verbunden, die über die Straße geht, dies ist ziemlich schwach, aber Sie müssen die Tür der De Franca ausgehen und zurück ins Buzz, aber zu viel von einem Problem. Quinta Da Penha De Franca ist in den Gärten gelegen und verfügt über einen beheizten Pool, der mit Komplimentenpool Handtüchern ausgestattet ist. Sie können auch den Pool in Franca Mar verwenden, der unheicht ist, aber noch warm genug war, und ist Salzwasser, von hier haben Sie auch direkten privaten Zugang zum Meer. Zimmer sind von guter Größe, ich empfehle, in den Hauptkomplex Zimmer zu bleiben. Es gibt rund 4 Zimmer, die rund um Zimmer 40-44 sind getrennt vom Hauptkomplex, das kann schön sein, aber beachten Sie, die Irische Bar ist gerade über der Wand, so kann manchmal ein wenig laut sein. Die Zimmer waren sauber, Klimaanlage gut, TV und minibar, was, wenn Sie wollen, gut wert war. Betten waren groß und sehr komfortabel, was für eine gute Nacht schlafen half. Zimmerservice ist auch verfügbar, obwohl seltsam keine ergänzende Tee & Kaffee im Zimmer, das ich in einem vier-Sterne-Stern erwarten würde. Die Lage ist hervorragend, an der Ecke des Hotels bedeutet einen kurzen Spaziergang in die Stadt, und einen kurzen Spaziergang zu anderen Restaurants und Bars im Hotelbezirk so ein wirklich positives. Parkplatz ist auch sehr gut, sie haben einen großen freien Parkplatz zu benutzen, so brillant, wenn Sie planen, ein Auto zu nehmen, um die Insel zu erkunden, wie wir es getan haben, wir hatten keine Parkprobleme. Das Frühstück war auch sehr gut, eine Mischung aus kontinentalen, portugiesischen und kochenden Buffet-Optionen. Der Service war freundlich und insgesamt ein sehr angenehmes Aufenthalt hatte.

Die Lage des Hotels liegt gut Traumhafter Ausblick auf Pool und Meer Frühstück Buffet groß...für alle was dabei Personal sehr freundlich Einzig...die Zimmer müssten modernisiert werden...Badezimmer neu!! Terrasse bzw.Balkon wäre Sonnenschirm nicht ganz verkehrt...

Sehr gutes Hotel Top-Position direkt neben dem Bus Richtung Flughafen und Richtung Zentrum Gut geräuschlos, weil wir auf den Arbeiten gesehen haben ... und es geht, wir haben sehr gut geschlafen trotzdem Allein Bemol ist das Frühstück oder ist ankommen sie zwingen Sie, einen Zeitplan zu wählen Wenn Sie sich ändern, müssen Sie heute Abend anrufen Es ist super chiant! Besonders wenn man keinen Job der Zeit mit Millimetern hat Wir haben nicht jeden Tag die Zeit gehalten und das wird man nicht wiederholt:) Rezeptionisten sind hoch und immer bereit

Sehr empfehlenswertes Hotel, Lifestyle Hotel , hält was es verspricht. Sehr freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal, Location ist Perfekt, alles zu Fuß erreichbar. Pool und die Terrasse sind ein Highlight. Frühstück sehr reichhaltig und Personal erfüllt Sonderwünsche, einfach fragen. Gemischtes und bodenständiges Publikum, richtig zum wohlfühlen. Es war nicht das letzte Mal das wir hier waren.

Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit! Der Flughafen ist nur 5 Minuten mit dem Bus und es gibt eine Busshalte in der Nähe des Hotels. Es ist auch ein einfacher Spaziergang zum Busbahnhof und Continente. Parken von Autos erschien ziemlich begrenzt. Ich fand das Personal freundlich und freundlich, und das Hotel ist schön sauber. Ich war sehr glücklich mit unserem Zimmer, es war sauber und in guter Reparatur. Wir hatten einen Kühlschrank, und es wurde täglich mit Wasser gefüllt. Zimmer werden täglich gereinigt. Erstaunliche Aussichten aus unserem Zimmer, kein Balkon, sondern zwei Aspekte Fenster, die vollständig geöffnet werden können, was gut war, da die Klimaanlage nicht viel zu tun schien. Flugzeuge können gehört werden, aber es störte mich nicht. Wir haben alle inklusive .....das war wunderbar ....begrenzte vegetarische Artikel waren verfügbar Aber wir haben das Hotel nicht informiert, da Hubby es nicht zu einer Frage machen wollte. Und in der Regel eine Auswahl von 3 Fleisch- oder Fischoptionen, mit Suppe, Pasta und Salate, Gemüse, Brot, Obst, Desserts usw. wir trinken vor allem schlanke, Obstsaft, Koks und ein paar Cocktails..... Es gibt eine Liste in der Klavierbar, welche Getränke auf Voll Inc. verfügbar sind. Es gibt Abendvergnügen (einige besser als andere!) und ein wunderschöner Kapsel, der Bingo organisiert usw. Sie haben uns sogar eine Flasche Plonk am Geburtstag gegeben. Das Hotel ist direkt am Promenade und es gibt einige fabulöse Wanderungen zu machen. Das Hotel hat, Tischtennis, Billard, Tennis, einen Tauchclub usw. Es ist ein ruhiger Bereich mit kleinen Geschäften, Eisparlour, Restaurants, Cafés usw.. Ich möchte wissen, wie beschäftigt es im Sommer wird! Ich würde gern wieder gehen!

Fantastisches Hotel! Lage direkt am Meer, kostenloser Shuttlebus ins Zentrum von Funchal, Themenrestaurant à la carte, leckeres Essen – abwechslungsreich und viel Meeresfrüchte, All Inclusive funktioniert einwandfrei – ich weiß nicht, welche Sangria besser ist – rot oder weiß. Sehr saubere Zimmer, funktionales großes Badezimmer. Abends Animationen inklusive portugiesischer Folklore - Grüße an Filip von der Rezeption, der die Show gestohlen hat :) Service auf höchstem Niveau - Wenn Madeira, auf jeden Fall RIU. Die Aussicht von der Terrasse des Restaurants ist atemberaubend. In der Nähe des Hotels am Ende der Promenade können Sie abseits des Weges zur Klippe wandern.

Our experience of the hotel was enhanced by our meal in the restaurant, which I have reviewed separately. My favourite thing about the room was the enclosed balcony. It was like having a private yoga studio in the sky. (Fellow yogis note, the floor was slippery.) I also enjoyed the spectacular view from the Sauna, which at the time was free because it was not working optimally. (So do ask!) It was good enough for me, but it took over an hour to heat up. The Pool looked too small and shallow to actually swim in, but mostly it was unusable as it was colder than the sea. I don’t know if this was usual. Breakfast was fairly similar to ones we had at other Madeira hotels, but this place had the tastiest selection of fresh bread rolls and very good garlicky mushrooms. The room was clean. We liked the 3-section recycling bin in the room. Others mentioned lack of plugs for phones. Erm... we knew about that but were surprised to find that there were not enough plugs for the room items. The Kettle and TV had to share a wall outlet. They really should consider supplying an extension lead, which could be given out and collected at check-in, just as they (bizarrely) do with the TV remote control. We did start off on a rather bad note. At check in, we were downright ignored. One receptionist was settling a dispute with another guest, but both members of staff deliberately avoided any sort of eye contact with us. I don't normally notice this sort of thing, but it was rude and infuriating and lasted some time. A simple nod would have sufficed. I’ll put this down to a bad day for the first member of staff, who later was helpful. After a long wait for no discernible reason, the other receptionist demanded payment before we had even seen the room, for which we had paid in advance. We've stayed at many places who use multiple booking sites. Sometimes you pay on arrival, sometimes beforehand, and we understand that the hotel needs to know. However, there are ways of asking that don't come across as offensive and like one is trying to get away with something. Not everyone is out to steal the remote control. Make sure you bring proof of payment if you’ve paid in advance, as we had. The hotel is lucky that they have out of this world views.

Having just spent 5 nights at Ocean Gardens I think it represents really good value for money. There’s a few things that if addressed would have made my stay perfect but I think back to how reasonably priced this place was and I don’t think you can expect perfection. Firstly I’ll mention the beautiful views. From my room and balcony I could see out into the ocean and it’s lovely. Unfortunately this also looks out onto a road which at times was a little noisy. If you’re a light sleeper this may bother you in the morning. From the restaurant and pool areas you can see out into the bay of Funchal. This is an exceptional view. The restaurant was lovely, brilliant setting and good service. The food is well cooked and represents typical food of the area. Though it’s very meat-heavy! There was music playing on a few nights that made me want to pierce my ear drums but that’s personal taste! The room itself was spacious but a little dated. At first I was impressed by the huge bed but it was in fact two singles pushed together not not fixed together. Having two single mattresses meant I really only slept on one for fear of falling down the middle so was a bit disappointing that I spent a week on a single bed tbh. That bathroom is spacious and clean. However I didn’t ever get what I’d consider to be HOT water. Either from the sink, bath or shower. It was warm at best. The room has floorboards and whilst a nice feature it means when someone in walking in the room above or to the side of you, you hear every step! Wifi is patchy at best. Ok in the room but elsewhere in the hotel not so great. Not brilliant because 4G service isn’t perfect in the area either. It rained a few times while I was there and both times that resulted in my balcony being flooded due to there being a slope. The pool area is lovely. Lots of space and loungers. The pics on here don’t do it justice. How’re eve the pool was REALLY cold! Expected for the time of the year and it meant the pool and area were very quiet. Staff are efficient and friendly. The shuttle into Funchal was good but it’s also easy to get into Funchal from the busy stop on front of the hotel at anytime. Reception only give you details for Bus 39 when I’m fact there’s about 4 or 5 buses that can take you on and bring you back. It’s about €2 a trip and they run into the evening. All in all I enjoyed my stay and as above I do this it represents good value for money. But if you’re expecting sleek, modern and perfection you’d maybe want to spend more and look elsewhere.
