This premier inn was up to the normal standard expected, nothing exceptional. The restaurant was busy and had a long queue. (8+ people in queue) the staff were friendly and helpful once getting served. Breakfast was good, sausage skins were a little thick. Everything else was as expected. And service was great. The post code didn’t get me to the premiere inn, I had to input the town and street. So did wander around before finding it. There were plenty of free parking spots available. Note no lifts or air conditioning in this premier inn. Enjoyed my stay, and would go to the same hotel again.

Hello Team, I would like to thank Laura, Sonia and Emma for how very helpful they were. They did everything possible to make my stay comfortable. Well to be honest the room I was put in was quite. They sleep was not so good as it should have been. Someone in the room below needs to see a doctor as their snoring was Soooo Loud. As expected for a Premier Inn, great value for money, chose a hotel out of the city centre for a quiet location, which it was, but very accessible to town/university campus

Been staying here weekly since 2020 and never had one bad night, staff always super helpful, rooms always clean and tidy. Easy access to the restaurant,check in always swift and new system in place no more faff with bits of paper for meal deals,

Check directions as sat nav takes you to a retail park via a bus lane. Very nice hotel near Durham, Newcastle, Gateshead and Beamish. Brewers Fayre next to hotel, very pleasant staff. Hotel very clear but seems tired. No problem tho definitely would stay again.

hotel ideally situated to visit Durham, Newcastle and surrounding area. Very good bus service only minutes walk from hotel. Hotel clean, comfortable, with friendly efficient staff, plenty of parking. Breakfast and evening meal good value and again very friendly efficient staff.

Special thanks to Naomi on reception for making our morning by letting 2 extremely hungover not so spring chickens have an extra late check out! At no extra cost too, thank you so much! Lovely clean hotel, everything you can need and close to the centre for a great night out! We will be back (for a chilled one next time! Haha)

Been staying at this hotel for business purposes for around 3 years, location is perfect to both Durham and Newcastle, spacious car park for work vehicles, durham city centre a half hour walk or 2 minute bus ride away, with a retail park located next door for any thing you may need.The staff are always helpful especially Holly and julianne in the restaurant, with reception staff always polite and friendly, happy to assist.
