Veldig lytt mellom rommene og ut mot gangen. Hotellet bar preg av å være litt slitt samtidig som enkelte ting var moderne/oppgradert. Supert med takterasse. Harde madrasser som ikke er bra for personer med dårlig rygg.

Das Hotel hat eine perfekte Lage am Meer mit Bushaltestelle zum Zentrum gegenüber. Die Dachterrasse ist wunderschön, allerdings die Servicekraft nur mäßig engagiert.

Reception couldn't have been less helpful, the lady on reception demanded our passports before we could have the room key, even though we'd cycled there and our passports were at the bottom of a suitcase brought by taxi earlier in the day. She would not let us unpack in the room so we had to unpack on the floor in reception and then repack just to go up to our room. Would not recommend at all.

My booking was canceled by the Hotel only 5 days before the date of check-in. When I tried to re-book the room, the Booking app assumed the wrong check-in and check-out dates. I contacted both the Hotel and Booking to get a refund, which Booking promptly accepted. In spite of Booking's two requests for the Hotel to cancel the reservation free of charge, and my explanations of the situation, the staff at the Hotel refused to accept cancellation free of charge and denied me the opportunity to speak to the manager. This is unprecedented and unnacounted for. I strongly advice against booking a room at this Hotel.

With friends, attended this hotel for two days. From the very beginning the female member of reception staff was downright rude and obstructive. We encountered problems checking in and a short time later this lady was giving similar abuse to another family checking in. The hotel was fine, however, our vehicles were tampered with and parts removed to a value in excess of €1185. We visited vehicles dealers but were unable to source replacement parts so it meant a slow return to Santander ferry from Porto. Foreign vehicles are targeted knowing you won’t be in the area long. We would not recommend the area or hotel. Staff service was appalling.

They gave us a very small room with little air flow and the air conditioning not working properly. The manager said there was no solution and that we could look for another hotel. Basically, take it or leave it. Very incompetent person. We suggested if it was possible to get another room but they said they had no rooms available. We got a different room the next day that was ok.

Scam. Worst service I have seen In my life. Not only did they cancel the reservation without giving any warning, but they also charged the price of the room while they knew that the room had the wrong date (we only tried to rebook our room because they cancelled our initial reservation without giving any warning). The employees were rude and unhelpful, a truly shameful service. Avoid this hotel, Portugal has a very high standard when it comes to providing hospitality services.

On the positive side, the staff were helpful and the rooms were clean. The location at the mouth of the river and Atlantic ocean is good. Beaches a few minutes walk away and bus route to Porto nearby. On the downside, I've never stopped in such a small bedroom. It had the usual Hotel stuff but extremely pokey. Breakfast was limited and the same everyday. Bacon appalling and the chef needs to learn how to make scrambled eggs. Awoken most mornings by aircraft to and from Porto airport - not quite on the flight-path but close enough to be disturbed. If this didn't wake you then drilling and hammering at next door building site certainly served as a wake-up call. Couldn't find a restaurant open, within walking distance, on a Monday evening. A few restaurants nearby but not very good. Nice location - rooms a bit dated - not much else going for it. May be okay for 1 or 2 nights but definitely no longer. In my view, one to avoid - very disappointing.

This is my third time at this hotel in 6 months (it’s location is convenient for a project we are working on). Asked for an iron (for my clothes) the first time. Was told it did not exist but they were working on it. Asked on my second visit for an iron and was told a very complicated story of an ironing service that potentially could deliver 24 hours later but not on weekends. Asked on my third visit and was told that if I took a 30 minute ride by taxi (with my clothes) I could iron them myself and then should make it back to the hotel before midnight (with a different taxi). Get real people! Why is this hotel incapable of offering an iron? For the rest, rooms are mediocre at best, breakfast ok but forgettable and service somewhat incomprehensible. Porto is - by the way - gorgeous!
