Typischer guter Novotel-Standard. Haben das Hotel für eine Zwischenübernachtung auf dem Weg von Bayern nach Neapel genutzt. Die Lage nahe der Autobahn war hierfür perfekt. Da wir früher als erwartet ankamen, sind wir nachmittags noch zum Sightseeing in die Innenstadt aufgebrochen. Auf Empfehlung der Rezeptionistin mit dem Auto ca. 10 min. zum Flughafen. Knapp vor der Einfahrt in des Flughafengelände gibt es einen Park and Ride-Parkplatz an der Straßenbahnhaltestelle ”Guidoni” (Parkgebühr € 1 ,- wenn man ein Straßenbahntickt hat). Von dort mit der Tram direkt in die Innenstadt. An den Hotel-Zimmern, der Ausstattung und Sauberkeit gab es nichts wesentliches zu bemängeln. Der kleine hoteleigene Pool war leider aus Hygiene-Gründen (wg. Corona) gesperrt... ist verständlich und dem Hotel nicht anzulasten. Allerdings ließ das Frühstück absolut zu wünschen übrig: Corona-bedingt gab es kein Buffet, sondern Bedienung am Tisch und letzteres war leider wirklich schlecht organisiert: lange Wartezeit, keine schriftliche Übersicht, was man ordern kann und Personal, dass nur bruchstückhaft englisch spricht... das führte letztendlich zu einem wirklich unbefriedigenden ”Frühstückserlebnis”...

Best Western Plus CHC Florence has the best, friendliest, kindest employees, probably in the world. The breakfast is excellent, a buffet with great variety and service. The rooms are comfortable, well stocked, and very clean. The area is lively and convenient, has lots of choices for transportation, dining, and many businesses. It's about 5 minutes from the airport by car, and 2 stops by public transportation My mom happened to have an emergency while we were staying at BW for vacation, which forced me to extend my stay for 19 days. Even though the hotel was full, front desk staff accommodated me, and helped me in every way they could with tips, directions, everything I needed. Employees from the restaurant even took me out to dinner on my birthday. Das Gästezimmer ist sehr sauber, aber ich habe ein Gästezimmer von 19 Quadratmetern reserviert, aber es fühlte sich nicht so groß, und ich habe ein Doppelbett reserviert, aber es waren zwei Einzelbetten gesäumt.

I am not writing this type of reviews often, but unfortunately this time I have to in order to reflect the reality about this hotel. Prior to this hotel we stayed at another hotel in Rome also 4-star that we really enjoyed (price level and distance from city center was similar). Firstly, I would like to point out that this hotel, even though it has 4 stars, cannot be considered to be a European-level 4-star hotel at all, at maximum a refurbished 3-star hotel. Given the price and its location, I would like to tell you straight, it is quite expensive for what you get, especially given the further circumstances described below. Secondly, I have not read many negative reviews regarding the noise level, but would like to shed some light on that. Even though we asked for a quiet room, we got the room facing the hotel parking and front road. I cannot say that there was a lot of noise from the road, but you could definitely hear cars from the road. But the biggest problem is the noise insultaion, or more precisely its complete absence. We could hear our neighbours talking in the other room like they were in our room. Our neighbours were awake until late night and we could hear them receiving messages while chatting on the phone and it seemed like the phone was vibrating each time near your ear. There was also noise from outside and other neighbours (it was partially not clear where it was coming from), so overall an awful experience also given the fact that each room has roller blinds and some people are using them at night and each time you can hear the mechanism working (it is quite loud). When people flush in other rooms, it sounds like it starts raining heavily. To sum up, insulation is really bad. Thirdly, the room was furbished at the level of refurbished 3-star hotel, the old hairdriers from the 20th century, only one card key, thus you cannot leave the AC on when you leave the room. Room was not ventilated at all once we arrived, so it was very hot to sleep and smell was not very pleasant. Breakfast at the level of 3-star hotel maximum and they do not let people finish their breakfast telling at 9:55am that you have to leave in 5 minutes since the breakfast time ends at 10am. As a cherry on the tart, when we were leaving we were told that the water in the room was not complimentary when we arrived, even though we did not found anywhere information with pricing of water in the room. When I asked where we could find price list for water in the room, as I belive it should be clearly placed in a visible spot, the person at reception firstly insulted us in Italian (not knowing that we speak Italian) and then just answered arrogantly ”it is in the room”, showing that he does not want to speak with us. Unbelievable and unacceptable behaviour from staff, you are paying them for being treated in such a manner... Overall, I understand that Florence is an expensive and crowded city, but in this instance when we unfortunately had only extremely negativ

Das Hotel ist recht neu eröffnet und von der „Hardware“ des Hotels her, sehr ansprechend. Die Zimmer originell eingerichtet, trotzdem distinguiert mit einem sehr bequemem Bett. Der Reinigungsdienst funktioniert auch wunderbar. Hier gibt es nichts zu meckern, vor allem nachdem die Lage bei den exklusivsten Geschäften nahe des Arno auch herausragend ist. Nachteil ist ganz klar der mäßige Service und das eingeschränkte Angebot an Restaurants und Bar im Hotel. Wir wurden noch nicht einmal unser $ 100 Guthaben los, da die Bar nicht bewirtschaftet wurde und uns das Restaurant nicht ansprach. Die wunderbare Dachterrasse wird genauso wenig bedient wie das ausgewiesene Gourmet Restaurant. Ob das Corona Nachwehen sind oder auf ein systemisches Versagen hinweisen, ich weiß es nicht. Daher klare fünf Punkte für das Hotel, knappe drei für den Rest.

Das Hotel Alinari befindet sich in einer sehr günstigen Lage nur wenige Schritte vom Bahnhof Santa Maria Novella entfernt und nur einen kurzen Spaziergang zum Zentralmarkt und zahlreiche vernünftig bezahlte Restaurants. Es ist möglicherweise nicht an einige Leute gerichtet, da es keine große Lichtzeichen auf der Straße gibt, die Ihnen sagt, es ist da. Sie müssen nach einem viel kleineren Zeichen in der Straße und Ell in den Boden-Ebene Hof suchen, um zu sehen, dass es auf der 4. Etage ist. Das Rezeption Personal war besonders gut. Das Zimmer war ok. Wir beschlossen, im Restaurant zu essen. Die Wächterin war nicht wirklich interessiert. Wir warten und warten nur auf das Menü ankommen. Wir bestellten unser Essen, das relativ schnell kam, die Suppe, die aufgelistet war, ähnelt keine Suppe, die wir je erlebt haben. Die Eiscreme, die ich nicht essen konnte, war unglaublich. Die Wächterin war verschwunden, wir konnten überhaupt nicht über dieses Thema reden. Nachdem wir fast 600 Kilometer in der Wärme dieses Tages reisen konnten wir nicht warten, weil wir so müde waren. Am Morgen, als wir die Rechnung fertig gestellt haben, fanden wir, dass sie bereits genommen wurde und der Empfänger wollte nicht verstehen und bot uns zwei Bier, eine kleine Entschädigung.

Wir haben nur eine Nacht gehabt, aber ich kann sagen, wir wurden von Anfang an herzlich begrüßt; wir sind um 09 Uhr morgens gekommen, um nur die Taschen zu verlassen und nach Florenz zu besuchen, aber das Zimmer war schon frei und sie haben uns geliefert. Rein Zimmer, komplett von allem, wir bemerkt, dass es sehr kürzlich als Möbel, sehr schön. Wir haben gesunde Tipps darüber gegeben, wo man zu Abend essen soll ( Rat ras l'amorino in Scandicci 3 Minuten Auto vom Hotel entfernt). Am Morgen am TOP Frühstück, Süß und Salz mit frischen und qualitativ hochwertigen Produkten, war die Schalenblase zu Hause gemacht 😋. Der Herr, der am Frühstück war, freundlich und immer anwesend seit dem Vorabend für jeden Zweifel oder Information. Nach dem Frühstück,Wir haben das Zimmer verlassen, aber sie haben uns erlaubt, das Auto in ihrem privaten Parkplatz bis zum Nachmittag zu verlassen keine Ergänzung bezahlen und so haben wir mit den Mitteln bewegt (Trams halt ca. 900 Meter vom Hotel)

This hotel is a little ways a way from Florence which was what we were looking for. Its in the Novolli suburbs but is still close enough to visit Florence which is what we did. You can ride the Tram from the Train Station, when exiting the train station walk across the street and turn left from there you will see the tram and can buy your ticket at the kiosk 1.50 Euro a ticket and its good for 90 minutes. Take the T2 Line and get off at the San Donato Stop, its approx a 5 minute walk from there to the hotel. We checked in early and our room was ready, we booked a king deluxe so it was a nice spacious room on the corner with 2 windows, lovely. Room was nice and clean. Room had A/C that was nice and cold.Only a few complaints the tub/shower sucks, its a bathtub with a rainfall head and also a bath tub faucet with hand shower, its hard to keep water off the floor with the design and I kept stepping on the drain plug and bumping my leg on the bath fixture, just a poor design, however the water was nice and hot and had good pressure. They also desperately need a bathroom vent it was so steamy we had to shower with the bathroom door open so we didn’t suffocate. The bathroom itself is large which is nice but one of the most poorly lit bathroom, had to do my make up in the bedroom. Beds were also a bit hard and firm. Nice little affordable hotel away from the hustle and bustle, just needs a little bathroom update
