The hotel is within walking distance from the Cathedral/ historical city. The hotel has parking space available that needs to be booked in advance. We had big room with view on the garden. It was quite, nice and clean. The room we had has also kitchenette. If next time in Florence I will first try to book room in this hotel.

I had problems trying to find a hotel in Florence at short notice and ended up booking a room at this hotel. First I should explain that this hotel is on the second and third floor of a building. I was given a room by the stairs, which by the way are made of wood I think, so the noise of people going up and down was terrible. There is a lift, but it will only take you from the ground floor to the reception, so if you have a suitcase and you are given a room on the third floor, you have to drag it up the stairs, near to where my room was. My room was big enough, with 2 single beds, and a bathroom almost the same side of the room, painted in red! and very dark, even with the light on. The room and bathroom were clean and my linen and towels were changed every day. Breakfast was good, plenty of choice, eggs, cereal, fresh fruit, cheese, cold meat, etc. Unfortunately the reception area was dirty. There are 2 or 3 settees with a material cover, which has not been washed for some time. The location of this hotel is excellent. 15 mns to the Duomo and 30 mns to the Ponte Vecchio. The guys at the reception were very helpful, polite and one of them, on the night shift, (regrettably I did not ask his name) never stopped smiling. Great service. Would I recommend this hotel? Yes but make sure you are giving a room away from the stairs.

Perfekt ausgestattetes Apartment im Dachgeschoß direkt am Piazza Repubblica mit Dachterrasse. Moderne und stylische Einrichtung, eine Glasdusche trennt Schlaf- und Wohnbereich. Separates Badezimmer vorhanden, außerdem kleine Küchenzeile mit Kühlschrank. Das Highlight ist die kleine Dachterasse mit Ausblick auf den Dom und Piazza Repubblica - außerdem kann man praktisch den Besuchern der Rooftopbar schräg gegenüber praktisch zuprosten (ca. 50m Sichtweite). Das Apartment haben wir sauber vorgefunden, es wird alle 2 Tage geputzt. Supermarkt, Restaurants und alle Sehenswürdigkeiten in unmittelbarer Nähe zu erlaufen. Wir würden es bei unserem nächsten Besuch wieder buchen, da wir die Möglichkeit der Dachterrasse intensiv zum Frühstücken und abendlichem Drink genutzt haben. Frühstück ist zusätzlich buchbar, wir haben es uns jedoch selbst gestaltet dank nahen Supermärkten und vorhandener Küche mit Toaster und Kaffeemaschine. Zum Einchecken meldet man sich an der Rezeption im Erdgeschoß des Bürogebäudes, diese rufen dann einen Mitarbeiter des Vermieters herbei, nach ca. 10 Minuten Wartezeit war ein sehr freundlicher und hilfsbereiter junger Mann vor Ort, der uns ausführlich alle Details des Apartments gezeigt und erklärt hat (in englischer Sprache). Es gibt einen Nachteil, den man nicht verschweigen darf: Wir hatten das rechte Apartment (das welches zum Piazzo Repubblica hin liegt) und leider führt direkt über das Apartment und daneben ein Lüftungsschacht vorbei, der Tag und Nacht rauscht. Manchmal stärker, manchmal schwächer. Ganz extrem laut war es in der Nacht vom Sonntag auf Montag, wahrscheinlich wurden da alles Klimaanlagen für die Büros in den anderen Stockwerken des Gebäudes für den Montag gestartet. Also d.h. das Apartment eignet sich nicht für jemanden mit leichtem Schlaf und Ruhebedürfnis. Wie die Situation in den anderen Apartments (insg. 3 oder 4) ist, kann ich nicht beurteilen.

A Tuscan escape, private villa style experience, great service, very attentive and extremely pleasant staff, great breakfast, lunch and dinner, beautiful pool, landscape, views of hills and city of Florence. Need a car to be able to go anywhere, or be willing to be a bit adventurous and take a public bus that stops nearby on the highway and requires a bus change to go to Florence, but on the way back goes directly to the resort from Florence (you need to learn the name of your stop and tell the bus driver to stop there, as busses only stop if they see people waiting at the stop or if a ypassenger requires it). The busses run every 20-30 min according to the time schedule (you will be given it) and take about 10-15 min to get to and from Piazza dela Liberta in Florence (look it up on Google map). Taxis are always available, will cost about €30 per trip (10-15 min ride). Remember, this is a villa style resort outside of Florence. It was beautiful, we loved it.

Booked this hotel thinking we would be staying in a 4 star hotel that was lovely based on the photos. But this was not the case at all, it felt much more like a hostel. Very very small rooms, didn’t feel clean and was very dark. We decided not to stay here and went to find a new hotel. When leaving we were offered to see another room. However given that this was our honeymoon we didn’t feel we would see a nicer room at the same rate. Photos - (Towels were on the rails)

Stayed here for 2 nights while touring Italy. Staff were great and couldn’t have been more helpful. Food in the restaurant is good but a little pricey. Bar is busy but again prices are higher than local venues. Breakfast was good and buffet style, only downside some items were not got enough. Would return

This hotel is a little ways a way from Florence which was what we were looking for. Its in the Novolli suburbs but is still close enough to visit Florence which is what we did. You can ride the Tram from the Train Station, when exiting the train station walk across the street and turn left from there you will see the tram and can buy your ticket at the kiosk 1.50 Euro a ticket and its good for 90 minutes. Take the T2 Line and get off at the San Donato Stop, its approx a 5 minute walk from there to the hotel. We checked in early and our room was ready, we booked a king deluxe so it was a nice spacious room on the corner with 2 windows, lovely. Room was nice and clean. Room had A/C that was nice and cold.Only a few complaints the tub/shower sucks, its a bathtub with a rainfall head and also a bath tub faucet with hand shower, its hard to keep water off the floor with the design and I kept stepping on the drain plug and bumping my leg on the bath fixture, just a poor design, however the water was nice and hot and had good pressure. They also desperately need a bathroom vent it was so steamy we had to shower with the bathroom door open so we didn’t suffocate. The bathroom itself is large which is nice but one of the most poorly lit bathroom, had to do my make up in the bedroom. Beds were also a bit hard and firm. Nice little affordable hotel away from the hustle and bustle, just needs a little bathroom update

I'm sorry for what I'm going to write but I'm more sorry for people spending money thinking to go for a 4 stars hotel while I'd objectively would rate it 1 star. Rooms are small, forniture way outdated with totally poor taste, broken even, they never got replaced since I guess hotel been there. Breakfast, also terribile, that was my first time in life to refuse coffee, machine should be shot down instantly, it tasted old and I'm quite sure it didn't get any cleaning job in the last years. All of this, wasn't even cheap, it's pure scam that should come to an end, starting in taking away Stars from this hotel. And yea, I don't care it got a pool on the side, I need to sleep in a functioning room and not die from old food, thanks

Dies ist eine hervorragende Option, in der Nähe von Florenz zu bleiben. Es ist 10 Minuten vom Bahnhof wach. Das Hotel ist super sauber und ist nach den amerikanischen Standards. Wir sind um 11:30 Uhr am Bahnhof Prato angekommen, weil die Überschwemmungen in Bologna ohne Taxis vor Ort und der Kerl vom Front Desk, wenn die zusätzlichen Meile und wann wir in der Station Super Service! ... die Erfahrung mit diesem Hotel war ausgezeichnet... Ich empfehle es voll und ganz, da die Hotels in Florenz viel teuer sind

This hotel was booked by a company I am working for, so I am sure it was booked purely on price as we were quite a large party. I understand that any business coming out of lockdown has a hard job on its hands, but on entering my room, I did feel it was necessary to wipe everything down with disinfectant wipes as everything was quite dusty. Some of my colleagues were unhappy with the cleanliness of their rooms. Following my initial clean down, my room was tidied daily. Wifi is poor, except in reception which has nowhere to sit and work, so if you are here on business, you don’t have any privacy to get work done. Continental breakfast is okay, but I cannot think of anything good to say about the cooked food, except that I have lost weight because I have not eaten very much. We are not allowed out of our bubble, so we have not been allowed to eat elsewhere, but if you can, I would. I have been served undercooked pasta five nights in a row, which tastes of salt, then meat and fried potatoes, which again tastes like it has been preserved in salt. Day 5 and the vegetarians in our group are stiil being served meat which could be considered quite funny, but they were not impressed. Although the staff are very apologetic, it is then replaced somewhat later with a greasy omelette which looks extremely unappetising and lonely on its plate but the soup is okay. They didn't have any sauces or gravy to serve with the food at the beginning of the week so the food tasted very over cooked, salty and dry, but we did get gravy this evening, so it has improved a little. I have been craving some vegetables with my dinner but greasy Salty eggplant is the only option. Oddly, mixed veg is served at breakfast. They dont really understand dietary requirements, so if you are ceoliac, best not chance it. I maybe doing the catering staff a dis-service, because they may have been drafted in from a different occupation, like myself and just doing their best in difficult circumstances. Catering is clearly not their forte. Everyone seems friendly enough.
