I stayed here to attend a technical conference at the nearby university (within walking distance). I received a very good price 140 euros/night for 7 nights. My room (top floor) didn't have a big huge bathroom, a big huge desk, an in-room safe, a clock, or a BIG HUGE PRICE! The supplied liquid soap is in little packets which I found hard to open (arthritis) -- had I known, I'd have brought a bar of soap. It did have a small effective refrigerator and an air-conditioner. So why is this rating 5 instead of 3 (very basic hotel)? Very quiet except that the hotel is on a road to a nearby hospital (you may hear ambulances). The friendliness, courtesy, and helpfulness of all personnel (who speak fluent English)! The phone system for wake-up calls was on the fritz, so the night manager came upstairs to rap on my door 3am departure day to roust me, and made sure of a taxicab to FLR. The included breakfast is rolls, cereal, beverages, cheese, ham, and soft-boiled eggs. During normal hours, take tram T2 from FLR to central station, transfer tram T1 to Poggetto, cross tram tracks and walk 0.5 km to hotel ("HOTEL" in block letters sticks out from building). To reach sights of city, take T1 from Pisacane (twin stop to Poggetto, about 200m farther west through a "tunnel," to Valfonda and walk. Internet computer is in little room off lobby. Once when it wasn't working, hotelier apologized and gave me a Coke Zero for free out of the little beverage cooler in the lobby. There is an elevator.

We paid €198, not worth that much. Fair value around €70. Small and tight bathroom, tiny shower enclosure— if you are a little big, you will not be able to turn. 2 stars ish at best. Also, you have to leave the room key at the front desk when you go out.

Great location. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great! Appreciated dining recommendation to place just down the street that was fantastic! Note the hotel was recommended by the hospital that treated my dislocated elbow. We had no clothes, no meds, no toiletries, and had missed our cruise departure as a result. The hotel helped us with all these issues. Highly recommend!

This hotel felt more like a hostel than a hotel. For $228, the room was very plain, basically the beds, a small TV. There was a ceiling fan, but know way to turn it on. The bathroom was cramped, and the shampoo and body wash were in packets. If I only paid $75 or less, I would have expected this but not for the money we paid.

The room was fine but the towels were mismatched and the soap was cheap and smelled aweful. The front desk is older men and one owns it and he is rude. Not very friendly.

Pro: possibilità di parcheggio a pagamento coperto. Vicinanza al centro, raggiungibile per chi ha voglia di camminare anche con una passeggiata di mezz'oretta. Colazione discreta. Comodo a ristoranti/pizzerie proprio a due passi. Camera e bagnetto puliti. Contro: il bagno piccolo, ma comunque ok, a parte lo scarico dello sciacquone (credevamo non funzionasse, ma dopo averlo fatto presente, ci hanno consigliato di premere ripetutamente e con forza il pulsante) che dopo lo scarico rimaneva a lungo 'gorgogliante' fino al lento lento riempimento della vaschetta. Questo, insieme ad altri rumori notturni, hanno un pochino compromesso il riposo. Quando lo abbiamo fatto presente, ci hanno consigliato, per un eventuale futuro, di richiedere un'altra camera. Diciamo che per un paio di notti, se non si hanno molte pretese, può andare, parlo ovviamente per la mia esperienza, però il rapporto qualità/prezzo può migliorare.

Accoglienza, pulizia, gentilezza e disponibilità sono le parole d'ordine. Anche la possibilità del parcheggio è importante. Abbiamo scelto questa struttura per la vicinanza strategica alle strutture sanitarie, alle fermate dei mezzi pubblici che permettono di raggiungere il centro in pochi minuti. Un ringraziamento a tutto lo staff, dai titolari a tutti i collaboratori. Spero di ritornarci presto, magari per una vacanza turistica.
