New beautiful hotel that is 5 star. Staff was first class and was very guest focused. It’s not a big hotel but the rooms were well appointed and the linens were very nice. There was a chilled bottle of Prosecco in our room when we got there. They have Paulo Airaudo, a Michelin chef in the kitchen. There is a window looking directly into the kitchen so you can watch Chef prepare wonderful dishes! It is located very close to the Medici Castle. We highly recommend this hotel!

Das Hotel eignet sich als idealer Ausgangspunkt um die Stadt mit ihren vielseitigen Angeboten zu erkunden. Zentraler, mitten im Leben, geht es nicht in Florenz. Nach einer aufwendigen Renovierung des gesamten Gebäudes ist das Hotel noch schöner geworden. Die öffentlichen Bereiche und die Gästezimmer bestechen durch ein helles und freundliches Design, wie man es aus anderen Hotels der Rocco Forte Gruppe kennt. Hochwertige Inneneinrichtungen, geschmackvoll arrangiert, wie man es von einem Hotel der höchsten Kategorie erwartet. Man fühlt sich sofort wohl. Den Gast erwartet hier nicht der angestaubte und oft verblichene Charme eines alten Grand Hotels. Die Zimmer und Suiten sind, wie gesagt äußerst geschmackvoll und eingerichtet und mit sämtlichem Komfort ausgestattet. Die Bäder entsprechen höchsten Erwartungen. Marmor ist da eine Selbstverständlichkeit, genau wie Handtücher mit den Monogrammen der Gäste. Die Größe der Zimmer ist jedoch zu beachten. Die kleinsten Zimmer messen knapp 30 Quadratmeter. Für manchen Reisenden dürfte das ein bisschen wenig sein. Die bessere Entscheidung ist zweifellos, auf eines der größeren Zimmer auszuweichen. Alle Zimmer sind mit neuester Technik ausgestattet. Auch in den öffentlichen Bereichen präsentiert sich das Rocco Forte Savoy, wie es sich für ein Hotel dieser Kategorie gehört und bietet anspruchsvollen Gästen alles was sie erwarten. Hervorzuheben ist dabei das Restaurant das sich als modernes Bistro präsentiert – mit Außenplätzen direkt an der Piazza. Mit dem exzellentem Angebot und der Qualität der Speisen, gehört es zu den angesagtesten Plätzen in Florenz. Sehen und gesehen werden, hier das Motto offenbar, direkt am Piazza Republica inmitten von Florenz. Ob draußen oder drinnen, dort wird auch das Frühstück serviert. Auch das überzeugt durch sein reichhaltiges Angebot. Besonders auf Bioprodukte wird hier Wert gelegt – wie in allen Rocco Forte Hotels. Nachhaltigkeit wird eben mehr und mehr zum Thema der Hotellerie. Das alles funktioniert natürlich nur, wenn der Service auch stimmt. Und das ist im Rocco Forte vollumfänglich gegeben. Wirklich auffallend, die freundlichen und aufmerksamen Mitarbeiter dieses Hotels. Die persönliche Note steht im Vordergrund, meist wird man sogar mit Namen angesprochen. Motivation und Servicebereitschaft sind im Savoy mehr als gegeben. Das gilt durchweg für alle Beschäftigten – ein wunderbares Team. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis entspricht auch im Rocco Forte Savoy den übrigen 5-Sterne-Hotels in Florenz. Very good and charismatic place right in the middle of everything in Florence: shops, museums and restaurants, you can get anywhere within few minutes of walking. The front desk in very limited time arranged for us a short (we stayed 4 nights only), but not easy to execute program including a day in Chianti with 2 private winery visits (wineries from my list) and provided us with plenty restaurant recommendations. Which truth be told turned out to be better than couple of restaurants we found ourselves searching and reading reviews. The minuses. We were staying in a suite on the 2nd floor, which in Vecchietti is actually quite high due to high ceilings on each floor. The windows were to a side street and upon arrival we were assured that the windows are soundproof. But every night we were woken-up several times first by various partygoers returning back to the hotels/apartments and next by communal services collecting the garbage. The shower is tiny, has stone tiles floor and a big window that saw better times, which is letting in plenty of air from the outside. Even sitting on the toilet, which is located next to the shower door, (excuse me for details) one can feel cold air blowing from the shower door, which can’t be closed completely. On top of that one of the maids always found it a good idea to leave that window open for the whole day after leaving the room doing the cleaning. This being in November already. So, going into that shower was an ordeal every time.

Die Zimmer waren geräumig (für Europa) und Sie sind nur wenige Minuten zu Fuß vom Duomo und Ponte Vecchio entfernt. Was dieses Hotel jedoch außergewöhnlich macht, ist das Personal. Von den Konzernen bis hin zur Hauspflege sind die Männer und Frauen, die an diesem Grundstück arbeiten, gedankenvoll, bedienend und engagiert in ihre Handwerk. Es gibt einen Einzelnen, den ich besonders hervorheben möchte, und das ist Lorenzo aus dem Front-Desk/Concierge-Team. AirCanada verlor die Tasche meiner Frau, wenn sie von Calgary nach Rom fliegt, und wenn das jemals passiert ist, dann wissen Sie, wie stressig diese Erfahrung für alle beteiligt ist. Nach 3 Tagen Unfähigkeit von AirCanada beschlossen wir, Angelegenheiten in unsere eigenen Hände zu nehmen. Ich ging nach Lorenzo um Hilfe, und er zog alle Stopps für uns. Lorenzo fand einen Kurier, den wir in Rom anmieten können, unsere Tasche abholen und uns in Florenz mit der Hand abliefern. Von dem Moment, als ich Lorenzo näherte, bis unsere Tasche geliefert wurde, war es nicht einmal 24 Stunden. Ich war überrascht über die Geduld, die Sorgfalt und die Pflege, die Lorenzo gezeigt hat; er geht die zusätzlichen Meile für seine Gäste. Hotel Bernini Palace gibt auf ihrer Website den „Les Clefs D’Or“ Concierge Service an und bietet Ihnen einen Weltklasseservice. Ich werde nur jeden Tag zum Hotel Bernini Palace aufhalten, wenn ich nach Florenz zurückkehre, weil die dort arbeitenden Menschen und wegen der phänomenalen Service und Erfahrung, die sie für ihre Gäste erstellen. Das Hotel liegt 10 Gehminuten vom Bahnhof entfernt. Da sich Florence SMN in der Altstadt befindet, wird empfohlen, ein Taxi zu nehmen, wenn Sie die Box schieben. Zwischen 7-9 Euro. Ich habe diese Hotelbewertungen zu lange und zu klein überprüft. Patio Zimmer und so weiter. Korrigieren Sie es hier. Erstens ist das Hotel ein Fünf-Sterne-Hotel der Leading Hotels Group. Zweitens ist das Hotelhaus selbst ein historisches Gebäude. Mehr als zweihundert Jahre Geschichte. Drittens wurde das Hotel gerade im Jahr 2019 renoviert. Einige Zimmer auf Ctrip werden derzeit nicht aktualisiert. Viertens ist Lu an der Tür des Hotels, Cartier ist gegenüber, BV, Bulgari, GUCCI sind daneben. Gehen Sie zwei Minuten zum Platz der Republik. Zehn Minuten nach Vecchio. Tolle Lage. Fünftens verdient der Hotelservice wirklich fünf Sterne. Lächle für immer, lustig, biete kostenlose Getränke bei der Ankunft an, Portier an der Tür ergreift immer die Initiative, um Gepäck zu tragen und direkt auf dein Zimmer zu liefern. Stellen Sie die Umgebung sorgfältig vor und stellen Sie chinesische Karten und eine Einführung in Florenz zur Verfügung. Sechstens ist die Dekoration des Hotels sehr geschmackvoll. Natürlich sind die Gemälde und Statuen in einem mehr als zweihundert Jahre alten Gebäude Antiquitäten. Und viele Hotels in Italien und sogar Fünf-Sterne-Hotels in Europa sind kleine Zimmer in historischen Gebäuden. Die derzeitige Fläche in einem Barockgebäude ist wirklich nicht klein. Achtens ist das Hotel ein Zick-Zack-Gebäude, daher ist das Fenster im mittleren Raum eine sogenannte ”Terrasse”. Wenn es Ihnen nicht gefällt, sollten Sie es im Voraus anpassen. Neuntens sind die Toilettenartikel im Zimmer wirklich luxuriös. . Und es gibt Hausschuhe und Wärmflaschen, die die Chinesen im Zimmer mögen. ”Zehntens sind die Handtücher im Badezimmer allesamt neue Baumwollhandtücher. Ich möchte nicht, dass solche Handtücher schon lange verwendet werden. Und es gibt ein kleines Detail, an dem die Wasserleitung hängt. Es sollte vom Hotel speziell entworfen werden. Das heiße Wasser ist sehr heiß. Wenn die Kleidung oben aufgehängt ist, kann es am nächsten Tag getrocknet werden. Das heißt, das Hotel hat keine Werbung gemacht. Es wird in Zukunft ein rotes Netzhotel.

Das ist ein schönes, sauberes Hotel mit guten Einrichtungen und Lage und einem ausgezeichneten Frühstück. Es hat eine sehr traditionelle Dekoration, mit einem modernen Badezimmer. Unser Zimmer war genügend angenehm, aber das Fenster sah eine Wand an und hatte riesige Schließfächer, die wir nicht öffnen konnten. Daher war im Zimmer kaum natürliches Licht. Ich fand auch das Personal etwas unfreundlich, vor allem auf dem Rezeption. Es gab keinen Grüß, wenn Sie vorbei gingen, und sie scheinen etwas konservative - nicht die übliche Freundlichkeit, die Sie auf einem Rezeption erwartet hätten. Das Frühstückspersonal war viel schöner. Ich mag dieses Hotel, aber ein wenig Freundlichkeit und ein Lächeln gehen eine lange Straße und hätte unseren Aufenthalt verbessert.

Location, location, location! Easy walk with luggage from the train station, and then you’re right in the heart of the action. With the air con not operating, the room was quite stuffy, but windows open so you can get fresh air. The lane way is quite loud at night, but again, you’re in the middle of the nightlife so it’s not a surprise. Simple, but lovely, breakfast buffet.

Die Lage des Zimmers ist gut, im Stadtgebiet kann das Zimmer als großes, sehr schönes Hotel angesehen werden! Die Lobby des Hotels ist sehr stilvoll. Das Frühstücksumfeld ist auch gut! Die Aufteilung des Zimmers, eine dreiköpfige Familie, wird während des Aufenthalts nicht überfüllt sein! Das Kinderbett befindet sich auf der anderen Seite des Raumes. Guter Platz, drei Koffer fühlen sich nicht zu voll an! Das Badezimmer ist nicht klein, das Duschbad ist sehr interessant, es ist flexibel und versenkbar! Die Klimaanlage des Hotels ist etwas heiß und die Klimaanlage ist ausgeschaltet, aber es fühlt sich immer noch etwas heiß an! Alles andere ist in Ordnung! Sehr kostengünstiges Hotel.

Die Corte Calzaiuoli Elegant Suites liegt direkt an eine starkbesuchten Einkaufsmeile, wobei man bei geschlossenen Fenster nichts mitbekommt. Leider sind dafür die Wände nicht so gut gedämmt. Unser Zimmer lag 2 Zimmer neben dem Frühstücksraum und man konnte am 6:30 Uhr den Vorbereitungen des Frühstücks genau zuhören. Auch die Geräusche aus dem Nachbarzimmer waren gut zuhören. Das Bad roch leider etwas modrig. Aber alles andere war wirklich richtig gut und ich denke für einen Städtetrip nach Florenz ist es eine tolle Unterkunft mit vielen kleinen Serviceleistungen. Wir waren 2 Nächte vor Ort.

Hotel Calzaiuoli is right in the middle of EVERYTHING, great for people-watching and walking to the major sights of old Florence. We had two rooms, one of which had an interesting feature where the bathroom was up a small flight of 4-5 stairs from the main bedroom. Very interesting and fancy-looking, though it was a bit nerve-wracking trying to navigate the stairs in the dark of the middle of the night. The rooms were clean and very comfortable, with good sized beds and bathroom space, though our twin bed room's bathroom was considerably smaller than the other. In-room safes are available for valuables and the overall vibe is very light and airy with high ceilings and big windows (again, great for people-watching on the street). Breakfast is a mixed bag, with savory options not really very good (eggs seemed to be powdered reconstituted eggs, and bacon was very floppy) but quite an amazing spread of pastries. If you have a sweet tooth for breakfast, there are plenty of cakes and tarts, even macarons if you choose to partake. Coffee is best if you wait for one of the attendants to offer a cappuccino or espresso rather than serving yourself from the carafe on the warmer. The location can't be beat, with the Duomo no more than a couple of blocks to the right and the Palazzo Vecchio and Uffizi only a few blocks in the opposite direction. There are a lot of shops along the street which makes for quite a bit of pedestrian traffic, though as with much of old Florence, vehicle traffic is very restricted and so it's nice to walk around and window-shop.

Casa Thiele is a delightful boutique hotel right in the heart of Florence. We arrived in the city by tram from the airport to Unita and from there it was a 15 minute walk to the hotel. The entrance isn’t obvious at first as it doesn’t have a sign. Look for the green door and you’ll see the hotel announced on the buzzer panel. The hotel itself is at the top of the building, up several flights of old stone steps. Note that there’s no lift. We had a lovely welcome from Daniel who explained how things work and then showed us to our room. This is a small hotel with only 5 (I think) rooms. Our room was at the front of the building and was a very good size with a large double bed. The bathroom is also a good size. It can get pretty noisy in the street below though the double-glazing cuts out much of the noise. Breakfast is ordered at the start of your stay and unless you say otherwise, you’ll receive the same order each morning. Croissants, brioche, fruit, yoghurts, cold meats, cheese, muesli, juice, coffee and more. The lovely Antonio looks after guests during breakfast with patience and good grace. The location of the hotel is fantastic, just a few minutes from Duomo in one direction and the Uffizi in the other. This comes at a price, however, because it is incredibly busy in the whole area around the hotel. It’s not cheap accommodation but you’re paying for the uniqueness, the personal service and the location. We loved our stay at Casa Thiele and should we find ourselves in Florence again, we’d definitely go back there.

We had a lovely welcome from Daniel who explained how things work and then showed us to our room. This is a small hotel with only 5 (I think) rooms. Our room was at the front of the building and was a very good size with a large double bed. The bathroom is also a good size. It can get pretty noisy in the street below though the double-glazing cuts out much of the noise. Breakfast is ordered at the start of your stay and unless you say otherwise, you’ll receive the same order each morning. Croissants, brioche, fruit, yoghurts, cold meats, cheese, muesli, juice, coffee and more. The lovely Antonio looks after guests during breakfast with patience and good grace. The location of the hotel is fantastic, just a few minutes from Duomo in one direction and the Uffizi in the other. This comes at a price, however, because it is incredibly busy in the whole area around the hotel. It’s not cheap accommodation but you’re paying for the uniqueness, the personal service and the location. We loved our stay at Casa Thiele and should we find ourselves in Florence again, we’d definitely go back there.

Das Hotel liegt zwischen Palazzo Vecchio und Domplatz, etwas tricky hin zu fahren. Ist man mal dort wird man wienein Freund empfangen und umsorgt. Das Hotel selbst ist in einem sehr schönen Gebäude mit historischer Bedeutung untergebracht. Die Zimmer sind topmodern und erfüllen auch die höchsten Ansprüche. Die hauseigene Bar gut bestückt und gemütlich, beide Restaurants top! Grossartig!

Das Hotel ist vom Preis/Leistungs-Verhältnis super, wir haben für vier Leute 99€ plus city Tax bezahlt, und für ca 25€ pro Person mehr bekommen als an so manchen anderen Orten. Sauberes Bad, saubere Betten, schönes Zimmer, gutes WLAN, etc. Das Frühstück war guter Standard, das Personal war freundlich und man geht praktisch aus der Hoteltür raus und ist sofort in der Innenstadt. Insgesamt ein überraschend gutes Hotel, definitiv eine hervorragende Option für alle die relativ billig reisen möchten, ohne dafür an Qualität zu sparen.

AVOID AT ALL COST! This is the first time I ever write a review because I want to warn other guests. Terrible experience. The room I was given was extremely noisy and I could barely sleep all night. Even when the window is closed, it sounds like it is open and you hear everything that happens in the street (people shouting, garbage trucks, etc). Additionally, the whole building is not well isolated meaning that if somebody enters at night or uses the bathroom you will hear it as well. Essentially, it was nearly impossible to sleep. Plus, in the morning, when I showered I got 2 mins of warm water and then straight cold water. The next day, in the morning, I mentioned the noise issue to the manager and asked her to checkout a day early and get a refund for the night I am not using. There was no point for me to sleep there again with all the noise. They refused to refund me the 120 euros night, despite me having valid reasons to leave. I still went to another hotel and therefore lost the 120 euros. The place is fully booked and I am pretty sure they will be able to rent my room again, hence making twice the money. This is borderline scammy.
